Since updating to Safari 5.1 and iTunes 10.4 last night I can't connect to the Apple Store nor can I access the internet on Safari.
Last night I updated my iTunes and Safari software to the latest versions on my Windows 7 PC using Apple Software Update. Everything seemed to go smoothly in the installation. But when I tried to access the web today using Safari, the browser freezes. The url bar loads to a certain point and never loads. And when I try to access the iTunes store it does essentiall the same thing. The bar gets to a certain point and then stops. Anyone finding solutions to this?
I have exactly the same issue accessing the store here in Australia.
I uninstalled Safari with nochnage in iTunes.
Even weirder iTiunes will allow me to download app updates but won't show the home page or any other pages. I can access my account details but not Ping.

I have same issue. I click on the home button and Wake/sleep at the same time for 30 seconds or more and then the phone entered in Recovery mode. It is erasing my content now and installing the update. Let´s see how this ends. I have iCloud, iTunes match, and backups from previos versions, hope I can restore all my content.
Otherwise I´ll go to the Genius Bar to do a checkup.

It did not work the first time... The iPhone4 kept in limbo. Then I did disconnect as suggested above and tried again to enter in Recovery mode. This second time it works. And after restoring the iPhone4 with 7.0.3, it asked me if I want to recover from backup. I did recover from my latest back up and now it is syncing the content. -
Is anyone having same prob as me? I updated to 8.3 and lost photo stream on my photos - all my settings are set for photostream updating - the blue shirts at the Apple store seem to think that the feature was removed from the phones with the 8.1.3 update but it is not mentioned anywhere on Apple's site

An "Out of Contract" Optus iPhone 4S accepted and worked perfectly with a Telstra SIM.
Following an upgrade to IOS7.0.4 the iPhone 4S will no longer work with the Telsta SIM.
The following error message is recieved

Apple Store Genius Bar on checking the 4S iphone in the Apple database indicate that the Service Details Policy is assigned to “Australia Optus (Singtel)” and only Optus can unlock it.
Optus indicate that teh iPhone is unlocked and I have a stalmate as noone is able to advise how to rectify the issue.
A checkof teh Telstra SIM was undertaken on another IOS6 Optus 4S iPhone and it functioned correctly.
I am aware others have had this issue as there is a reference to it on the Optus Support Community.
It means that an international SIM cannot be used in teh iPhone until the issue is resolved
I am of teh opinion teh it is an IOS7 software upgrade issue not a problem with teh harware or the carrier

Since the iPhone is carrier locked with Optus, the only way it could work with another carrier's SIM card and service under iOS 6 was by hacking/jailbreaking the iPhone to unlock it. Installing an iOS update on an iPhone that was hacked to be unlocked re-locks the iPhone to the carrier it was sold as carrier locked with when new.
All Optus carrier locked iPhones are not unlocked with iOS 7.
Only the carrier an iPhone was sold as carrier locked with can officially unlock the iPhone, or send the unlock request to Apple on the owner's behalf. Since Apple's database shows the iPhone as being locked with Optus, Optus must send the unlock request to Apple for the iPhone. When the unlock process is ready, the unlocking is done with iTunes on your computer. This is the only way a carrier locked iPhone can be officially unlocked. -
I had two (2) different ISP's, one for the mobile phone and one for the computer. I have changed my Apple ID in iTunes, and also changed my ISP provider for my mobile phone. NOW I cannot acces the App Store (through the iPhone icon. To change the iCloud ID on your devices you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted (if using iOS 7), then sign back in with your current ID.
If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, you will have to temporarily recreate it in order to delete the existing account. To do this, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password. -

Someone I entrusted my computer to for repairs decided to keep it. all my personal information was on the computer. the peron has been using my credit card information o make ourchases from the apple store. If I do not have a credit card on the account on my iphone, I am unable to updatw it or my ipad. After persuading the apple store people to delete the last credit card info, I had to put aother credit card on the iphone to be able to update the software and thevapps. now that card is being used by the person o download war games on the new card. Is the credit card registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? 1) you can get a replacement one, though you might have to pay the out of warranty price for the device (normal iPod touch 4th gen 8g = $99)
2) If you don't have the iPod itself, its is highly unlikely they'll replace it since you won't be handing the original over (since its in your locker) -

Where can I find and compare carrier coverage at the Apple Store?
I was in my local Apple store looking at the new iPhones. I wanted to compare coverages between carriers in order to make the decision on what to buy. Although they had rate information for each carrier, on their "compare carrier" app on the iPads, all I could see were the AT&T maps. I would have liked to see this at the Apple store instead of relying on the carrier websites or stores as I felt like it might be less biased if I could. Has anybody else noticed this? Where can I find and compare carrier coverage at the Apple Store?
It's always a good idea to let people know everything you did try or you risk people telling you to do things you've already done.
I'd suggest doing an internet search for "compare wireless carriers" or similar. One of the hits I got on the first page was this:

I have an app in the App Store that I designed in Photoshop, developed in Dreamweaver CS6, and packaged with Adobe PhoneGap Build. The first three steps - design, development, and packaging I did on a Windows computer. But I used a Mac for my developer certificate and provisioning profile, as well as the finall step of preparing and submitting it to the App Store through Application Loader.
