The feature to export SWF files directly from After Effects has been removed. It never worked at all well.
To create SWF files, use Flash Professional.
If you want to play a movie that you've created in After Effects in a SWF container, then export your composition using Adobe Media Encoder in H.264 format and then link or embed that movie into a SWF file in Flash Professional. -

In Firefox 2 I could hold down the Control key and click on an image to open a window with a "Save as" choice. Then I could name the image and chose a location to save it to. In Firefox 3, the window opens as before but the "Save as" choice does nothing. So how can I save website images as jpegs in a specified location such as a folder on my hard drive or on a memory stick?

Base on my test again, I found that if the value of relative position is less than 1, it will uses the absolute position, you could change its position to relative position with the value less than 1 (e.g. 0), after save and re-check its position, you will
find that it still uses absolute position. By default it uses the absolute position, so when we add the new textbox to the document, its position is at left-top of document (left=0, top=0).
The RelativeHorizontalPostion property is used to specify its
relative to type (e.g. page, marging)
There are LeftRelative and TopRelative properties of shape, so please specify these properties’ value, then change
relative to type of shape.

My iphone 5 is not saving my unlocked router. My router is linksys and is 2.4 ghz, My other devices such as iphone 4s and ipad2 have not had that problem with router. My iphone 5 connects hardly to my router but does not stay connected more than 3 minutes within the range.
Try rebooting your router by removing all power from it for about 15 seconds.

What is going on with Lion??? Something has happened to my Mac Pro since I got Lion! I cannot save documents in Word, or at least if I do I have no idea where they are after I save then, Word does not know either! I have never seen this before? As a conseqience I have lost files despite saving them in the usual way......God knows where they are! In the middle of all this I am suddenly asked for my Mobile Me password,,,,,in Word??? What is going on? Help!

Open Face Time
Go to the Preferences
Set it to Off.
Also make sure your router has the Time and Date/Time Zone set as this upsets Face Time which in turn upsets IChat

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

I have 2 lab tops.. and have family members that use them.. I used to have FB open with mult family members accounts. Ad of today you updated to firefox 15..
Now when I go to use multifox 1.3.3 ( that is so you can have mult accounts open. ) .. if trying to go into Fb none of the features work. now since I have upgrade. it use to work fine.
So, the new FF does not work would like to unistall and go back to the old FF.. where I, can have mult accounts open at the same time and have the funcation work when your on the mult account in FB... Like talk to some one in FB chat. or just look at other items in the accounts.
if you can tell me how to fix this or can you please give me the old link back.. or tell me how to get the old link back instead of 15.. Because 15 does not work.

Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless. -
When awakes after sleep MB frezees, wifi can´t get active, dock does not show, in general MB does´t respond. All this after I installed an update of mountain lion.
Try starting up in Safe Mode and see if things are better.

I am trying to confirm the time at which a particular backup occurred using an external hard drive that I have since misplaced. Although time machine lists the backup times for some backups, it does not list them for all, including the one in question. Can someone help?
Okay, I've sussed it. I saw a link to another discussion that hadn't turned up in any of my searches before I posted the question above.
My Tosh HDD was formatted to FAT 32 and therefore would not be backed up by Time Machine. I removed all data from it - nightmare as I hadn't enough space to put it on the macbook HDD, but, after trawling through numerous photos and deleting rubbish for hours, I finally made enough space and copied all data across. Then, after clearing the data from the Tosh HDD, I used disk utilitity to reformat it to Mackintosh OS Extended. Chose the option without kournalling because I'm not baking up onto this disk and so don't need it - according to some other discussions I found.
When it was done I check on time machine in system prefs and once I selected options, I was able to remove it from the excluded from backups list. Hey presto. Now I'm moving my photo library and my music library onto the Tosh HDD and my macbook should start to breath again. Hurray. -

Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again. -
Help please! "Could not save as *** because the file...."
I'm getting this error message when I try to save my files and it is happening often enough that it bothers me. This is very sudden - within the last week or two. I have Photoshop CS5, using Windows 7. I get the error message "Could not save as *** because the file is already in use or was left open by another application."
I haven't done anything new to my computer or installed anything new, I've been using CS5 successfully since this summer when I first installed it on this brand new computer. Not sure why it's doing this now.
When it happens, it does leave a .tmp file behind with each instance. I saved one this time just in case it's needed to determine the problem - normally I just delete it and try again. When I try multiple times, it eventually saves. But when I'm a professional photographer and have 100's of images to save, I just can't deal with this problem. Can anyone help? I'd be grateful!Are you saying you've disabled Spyware Doctor and it now works? I'd toss that software out in a heartbeat if so. Anti-malware software that interferes with your normal operation of your computer is not something to be accepted!
Microsoft's Windows Defender is a decent substitute. I also personally prefer Avast Pro antivirus. Both are unobtrusive.

I can't save an old InDesign file to the new version
I can't save an old InDesign file to the new version. I keep getting this message:
I can only save the file as .IDML.This happens to ALL old InDesign files on my iMac (problem does not happen on my Macbook pro). I have saved the files as .idml and opened them again. I get the same error when I try to save the file as .indd. They can ONLY be saved as .idml.
I never embed images and do not have font issues (file was created on the same iMac as it is being opened on now).
Sometimes I get an error when I first try to open an old file - it ays the file is damaged and can't be opened. I try again right after and it opens fine.
