Since upgrading iPhone 4S to OIS 7 my outlook 2010 calendar and contacts will not sync. Anyone have a solution?

Everything was fine with Outlook 2010 on my iPhone 4S. Now with IOS 7 my calendar and contacts no longer sync. I have read so many comments online but no one has had the perfect solution. I feel as if I have tried everything. I have even reset my software and phone. Still nothing. Is this feature no longer available or are there new requirements to make it work? I am so unhappy!!!

It sounds like after the recent iOS update, your Outlook content is no longer syncing properly to your phone.

Since upgrading to iTunes 11.1.4.62 my iPad and iPod are no longer recognized by iTunes when plugged into my Windows 8.1 PC? I have re-downloaded itunes and re-intalled/repaired the program but still will recognize the two. I had to set up an admin user account on my pc after trying to restore my phone after ios 7 nearly broke my pc. I used the admin account to delete all apple stuff as instructed and installed 11.1.4. Hate the new look and all that was left was some old stuff i had bought on itunes.Anything less than about 2 years old and my extensive vinyl library i had uploaded all gone. i back up every week. i found some music in the recycle bin and it took hours to restore that but i was still missing loads. I plugged in my 3rd gen touch. All my sync settings were gone and it would not let me change them, it was all unticked so sync wiped my touch. i tried again but still wouldn't let me select anything and said duplicate names were specified, my options were to erase the touch, overwrite the library on the pc or cancel. So a disaster. Then I logged in under my usual user id where i had failed to download the new itunes and my old library still existed - shame i cannot back up or sync anymore here either. The only thing i could do was restore my wiped touch as i still had a back up left here. whenever i plug in i get the duplicate names specified message erase or cancel and i can't change the settings which are all unticked here too. I think itunes can see my admin account library and my usual account library and can see they are not the same and this is the duplicate names problem
i would like to know how i can get my music out of itunes safely on to my computer so i can play it on something other than itunes.
Unfortunately my iphone is on orange so i am cursed with that too and their latest service issues have destroyed my battery. I can't get a new phone though becuase i won't be able to restore to get my stuff on to new phone becuase of this duplicate names error.
Apple have really messed things up for me - please can you tell me how to get my music out in a format that will play on other players and i suppose i will just have to write off the £50 credit i have in tunes but i cannot carry on with these disasters and apples indifference

That's where you're going wrong. Firstly the syncing method that MobileMe used, which places the icon in the menu bar, is quite different from the iCloud method and is irrelevant. Secondly, you're confusing the Time Machine icon with it.
On this Mac you need to set up in System Preferences>iCloud in the same way, then the syncing is automatic. In iCal on both machines you should see in the Calendar list your calendars listed unrer 'iCloud', and your calendars should be visible at http://icloud.com (and choose Calendar in the welcome screen).
If they aren't visible online, go to http://me.com/calendar - you should not be able to see them there. If you can, you haven't migrated.

Problem syncing Iphone 4 with Outlook 2010 Calendar and Contacts

I am running Windows 7 with Office 2010 including Outlook 2010.
When I received my Iphone 4 three weeks ago, syncing with Contacts and Calendars worked fine.
After having updated OS on the phone and Itunes on the computer, I get the following error message:
"Itunes kunne ikke indlæse dataklasseoplysninger fra Synkroniseringstjenester. Opret forbindelse igen eller prøv senere"
The syncing of music and apps work perfectly.
PLEASE HELP

Still no help, no sulution to Apple iPhone sync problems with Calendar...? I wish someone from Apple, or someone with specific knowledge could help! Windows XP Professional, Outlook 2003 to iPhone 4S (2012) does not communicate any Calendar entries between the two machines.
Strange thing is that it worked when iPhone was newly purchased for about a month, then stopped??
Even stranger is that Contacts get synced just fine between the two machines?

Outlook-Updates to EXISTING Calendar and Contact entries not syncing correctly - two PC's

My setup is two PC's (one at work, one at home), one BB. Both PC's Outlook are Outlook 2003, SP3. I do not use BES. I sync my BB to both PCs.
I have experiencing specific issues where updates to existing Outlook Calendar (mtg notes) and Contact (contact notes) are not being sync'd from one PC to the next PC (via my BB device - Sprint Curve 8330 running OS v4.5.0.131). I sync PC's to my BB using BB Desktop Mgr (v4.7) and USB cable.
Here are specific details of what I am doing to duplicate the issues.
1) Calendar:
I have been away from work the past two days. In that time, I have updated two (2) calendar items at my PC at home - both items are at my work PC as well.
Item one: I moved the date from Wed to Thurs, and added a note - done from home PC
Item two: I changed the description of the meeting, and shortened appt from 3 hrs to two hrs - done from home PC
Both items sync OK with my BB
Upon coming to work this morning, neither sync'd to my work PC. I finally did the following:
Item one: I deleted from Desktop Outlook, opened in BB put a space in the meeting description saved.
Item two: Opened on BB, put a space in the meeting description saved.
Upon resyncing, here is what happened
Item one: Sync Mgr noticed conflict of deleting from PC and changed in BB. I chose to copy item to PC. This results in syncing correctly to PC
Item two: Sync'd to PC correctly.
Something is NOT right. The sync process did NOT recognize these two items that changed until I manually intervened (updating on the BB).
2) Contact:
I ran a test today where on my work PC, I added a comment into one contact's note. I successfully sync'd that contact note to my BB. However, when I sync the BB with my home PC, that note did NOT make it to the home PC.
I opened the contact (in edit mode) on my BB, inserted a space to the contact's name, erased the space, and saved the contact.
I then sync'd the BB to the home PC again. This time, success - the contact's note got sync'd to the home PC.
HELP
I have seen this sort of thing a few times before (where sync did not sync a Calendar event/mtg correctly) in the past three months or so I owned my BB - but this is the first time I decided to actually test out the fix. This is the first time I noticed with a contact (maybe b/c i do not look at my Contacts updates as closely as I do my Calendar mtgs updates)

2 things..... I somehow had created a duplicate calendar which may have been >blocking the sync. If you have it as well, delete this calendar and try to sync.
I have several calendars in Outlook - there is the main one which contains everything, then where I have marked certain entries as 'Personal' or as 'Anniversaries' etc a separate calendar is created with those entries in them.
Also, I read somewhere that some calendar entries will corrupt the sync of the > phone. Delete all new entries since the last successful sync and enter a test >entry and try to sync the phone. To the best of my knowledge, there is no >indication that an appointment is "bad" other than the phone will stop syncing. >So perhaps after each sync, check the phone to ensure any new entries appear.
I can't possibly tell when the last successful synch occurred! I also don't want to delete entries - I need them all!
There appears to be very little advice on this problem, hopefully this will >work.
Yes, it seems that the Great God Apple isn't anywhere as smart as it thinks it is. I am really frustrated and not a little angry. This is basic stuff for any other phone, let alone a Smart Phone!

Photos and contacts will not sync from iCloud to iPhone

I have an iPhone 4 with the latest iOS (5.1.1), and have had to restore my phone due to sluggish response from the device, however I have had problems when setting up my phone again.
When the phone was restored and I wanted to restore a backup, it said the latest backup was from 10/12/2011 (I'm assuming this was the last time I backed up to iTunes). The issue I have is all my photos and contacts are on iCloud (last updated 25/05/2012, it clearly says this on my device under iCloud section). I have looked about to try and find a way to get this information back onto my iPhone but have not had any luck.
Can someone please help me find out how to get my photos and contacts from iCloud back onto my iPhone, having no contacts is a real pain! If anyone can help it would be really appreiciated!
MESSAGE TO APPLE: Your support is a complete joke, why should I have to pay for your assistance on clear design flaws with iCloud and its ability to sync with iOS enabled devices. Also you should really consider allowing people to download their photos / contacts via iCloud.com

me again everyone, I've managed to find my contacts on my iPhone. When I look under the contacts app it just says "no contacts", but if I look at the contacts tab via Phone they all appear, weird bug.

Are you syncing your Mac Address Book contacts over the air with your iCloud account which is selected with your iCloud account settings on your Mac? You need to do that first followed by logging in with your iCloud account via webmail access using a browser to confirm your Mac Address Book contacts are available in your iCloud online address book.

Better question: Has ANYONE been able to synch an Outlook 2010 calendar and contacts through iCloud?

So far, all I've seen is problems with synching a PC to iCloud. There's lots of articles on how nice iCloud is, but I doubt that the authors have even tried to synch a PC to iClould. Doesn't appear anyone else has either since there's no Youtube How To's about the subject either.

There are a half a dozen or more altenatives, especially towards the last quarter of this thread

Sounds like the Outlook plugin isn't working properly. You could try a couple of things:
Go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs, uninstall iCloud, the download and install the iCloud contol panel for Windows again from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455. Then sign back into your iCloud account and check your syncing settings again.
Uninstall iTunes and all of its components as by following this guide exactly: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7, then reinstall iTunes. You must follow this guide exactly or it will not be successful. (Uninstalling iTunes will only remove the application; it will not touch your iTunes library or data.) This will replace the Outlook plugin.
Then try your calendar again and see if it will sync properly now.

It is unusual for the calendar to sync and not the contacts in Outlook. I've worked with Outlook for years. You didn't answer what computer OS you are using. If it is Windows, have you tried to reset the sync history in iTunes? Do that by opening iTunes, go to Edit>Preferences>Devices and click on reset sync history. If you have done this and it doesn't help, then we can try and run scanpst.exe on your Outlook file and see if there are any errors. Search your computer for that file, however it normally resides in one of the Microsoft Office folders in the folder Program files. After that, you can see if it will sync.
