Since upgrading my iphone 4 to ios5 it won't keep registered for my mobile network ...and provider doesn't know if its the sim or the handset...anyone else had this problem?
performed the update yesterday and now my iphone won't stay on orange either says searching or no network and at the min orange won't help me
My wife and I are BOTH having the exact same issues! Some of the text messages that come through are just showing the 1. area code, and 2. the last 4 digits of the phone number.
I thought it was weird when she showed it to me on her phone. Now mine has started doing it too.

Is this a design flaw? Since the 1st Generation has a hard drive (140GB). If both are on, only the 1st Gen get recognized. I would think you could use both at the same time..... Help!

Yes iTunes should work with them all together. Do they have different names, are they on the same network, have you noticed any other problems. -
When I open iCloud now (Running OS 10/7/5 Lion) I can read the body of an email message but all my headings and other text are totally scrambled in strange characters, etc. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a known fix other than a complete re-install?
Apple is aware of the issue and is expected to release 7.0.3 next week to address iMessage issues.
In the meantime I have found that a good old fashion reset cures it for a while. -

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

Hi guys. After updating to 7.0.6 my iphone 5s is no longer showing in itunes. Strangley it is recognised by my PC (windows 8) when I click on my computer. I have tried reinstalling itunes and making sure the drivers are up to date, but this has made no difference. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have any advice? Thanks

Has anyone else had this problem with the iphone 4 dock and bumper?
I purchased an iphone 4 dock and bumper but when ever I sit the iphone in the dock with the bumper on it won't get a sufficient enough connection to charge so I have to take the bumper off in order for it to charge.
Has anyone else had this problem?Yes I am not impressed with that either. How can apple design such an accessory and then not have it compatable with another accessory of theirs!?
The same goes for the in-car charger also. It's a good job the iphone 4 is so good, otherwise it would have been a return to Blackberry for me! -
iPhone 5 switches off saying battery low when it shows 42% battery remaining , if I leave it ten mins it turns back on and I's fine ? Had anyone else had this problem?

I haven't touched my Iphone 5c for an hour besides a few texts and it as dropped its battery life by 20% I also took it off the charger (at three in the morning) at 90% and woke up to a 70% battery life. I got this phone yesterday and let it die and recharge like you are supposed too, I think it is a bad battery but I am wondering as anyone else had this problem before? I want to know if I should be taking this back or not? Also while charging last night the phone got very hot which is also very concerning.
If you aren't receiving password reset emails and your security questions don't work, someone has hijacked your account.

You need to use Expresslane to contact iTunes support to regain access to your account ASAP. -
After upgrading to iOs 5.1 the AV composite cable don't work, appear a message: the device is not compatible with iPad2, anyone else had this problem or have a solution for it?
Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.
If that does not work, restore the iPad to the factory settings. -

I had my damaged unlocked iPhone 4 replaced by apple with a refirb model and am pretty sure they've issued me with a locked phone.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Is Apple aware that they are refirbing but not unlocking phones?

TyIt is entirely possible that the human you spoke with at Apple simply made a mistake. You do realize that humans make mistakes, correct?
Take the device back to the store along with any documents you have stating it is or is supposed to be unlocked and let them clear it up.
This all assumes the device was unlocked by the carrier and not some shady website or local electronics store. -
Since downloading ios 6 my iPhone 4 will not play itunes when docked - plays ok when not on dock. Has anyone else had this problem?
At least I'm not the only one with the issue. I was looking it up so see if others had the same problem and found a bunch of posts about it. I'm assuming it's not the phone then, it's the software. Should I bring it to the Apple Store? Replacing the phone seems stupid, because the phone isn't really the problem. It's the software! Maybe the iOS 5.0.2 will fix it??? I don't really want to wait though, it's a pain. If a lot of people have this issue it should get Apple's attention. They need to do something to fix it, ASAP!

To answer the question you asked, yes, I'm sure at least 1 of 120 million iPhone users has had this problem. to answer the question you should have asked, hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds, until an Apple logo appears.

My camera just recently went blurry. It was working just fine yesterday but then I went to use it today and the pictures are so fuzzy. Has anyone else had this problem with their iPhone 5?
1st... make sure nothing's covering/smudging the camera lens. then...
Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Remove the Camera app from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete the Camera app from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
- Restart the Camera app
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -
When I go to my downloads folder on my dock and click the file all the content shows up but as soon as I go to open it in the finder, I get a blank window. Has anyone else had this problem, if so, How do you fix it. I also cant delete anything from this folder because of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My ipod touch 4g won't turn on, even if i reset it. If i reset it it just brings up the apple logo for about 10-15 minutes, flashes white, then repeats the before mentioned. Has anyone else had this problem and/or know how to fix it?
