Since upgrading to ios6 for ipad2 I cannot access my email?

Why is it tat since I upgraded to the ios6, I cannot access my email on it?

I have issues with mail as well. Though I'm able to access my all three mailboxes I'm using on My iPad (gmail, hotmail and icould), but sending an email is totally different story. I'm lucky if I'm able to send a message in ten attempts, it always get stuck in sending process until I get a message stating in was put in an outbox, because mail was unable to send it. It's freaking annoying and I have no idea what can be done. Connecting to gmail.com is almost impossible, unless I copy the full link to mailbox, if I use gmail.com I just end up with a blank page.
Btw, I cannot access my email using Gmail app as I'm unable to log into it, just keeps on loading and loading with no results whatsoever...
Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

    Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    Try This - Renew IP Address:

  • Since upgrading to version 5 yesterday I cannot open any emails, contact list

    I login to my webmail, when I try to click on the mail or contacts the system just hangs. I have to use the browser back button to come back out again.

    After updating to that particular version, I am now no longer able to open iTunes. In Task Manager I can see the program open then instantly close.
    Do you currently have a copy of the QuickTime Player installed on the PC? If so, is that also failing to launch (with or without an error message?)

    Thunderbird is set to automatically download new versions -- apparently, I am on the beta list. Since the last beta update two weeks ago, I have been unable to access the contents of my emails without "reply"-ing to the email.     Do you know why you are on the beta channel? This is provided for those who wish to test upcoming versions and release candidates and the like, and by definition, may offer software that is significantly buggy.
    Occasionally a user may be steered towards a beta because it has a fix for a known problem. We're not too good at putting that user back on the main track when the formal release has caught up. :-(

    In iTunes go File -> Library -> Organise Library -> Reorganise Library.
    Then quit and restart iPhoto.

    when i activate music match and then start music app:
    i can only see the cloud symbol and the app doesn't react.

    I have had a similar problem since upgrading to iOS6 on my iPhone 4S. My songs aren't doing the 0:00 or lacking a title, but none of the songs will play. If I try to "Shuffle All" songs, the phone will try to play a song, give up on each song after a few seconds, and just keep flipping through songs. None will play. The last time I tried to do this, I just let the phone go the whole time I was at work, and it flipped through 5,000+ songs without playing a single second of one of them. I tried numerous backups and restores, to no avail. After this, I loaded a couple hundred songs directly onto the phone's hard drive, and those will play, so the player works. It is a problem with Match.

    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    Since upgrading to IOS6 on my 4s, some of my sms messages (international) are no longer delivered to other phone users (nokia, etc.), even though it shows sent in the message screen. I do however receive sms messages from these numbers. These numbers are correct and I can call or receive calls on the same numbers. I would appreciate if someone can assist me so that my messages can be received again on international numbers. I think all my local numbers are working fine regarding messages. Thanks.

    Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer.  As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
    You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you.  I'm sure you'll pay, however.
    Let this be a very important lesson learned.

    I'd hate to think Apple is going down the Microsoft path, of passing untested software onto the user. What ever happened to Regression Testing, to ensure the existing functionality remains intact?
    I bought into the Apple dream, because it was intuitive, reliable & enjoyable to use, all the things that Microsoft windows isn't.
    Other issues we are experiencing are, Games are stuttering and the kids really miss the old YouTube app.

    YouTube is not now part of iOS 6.
    However, you can go to the App Store and do a search using YouTube. You can download several YouTube apps: YouTube (for the iPhone, a IPad app is in work), several users  like Jasmine and YouPlayer.

    Since upgrading to iOS6 my iPhone 4S is useless, calls are being disconnected and also the phone is often failing to dial out, is apple going to bring in any solutions? Maybe it's time to start looking to another phone company.

    Let me start by saying I have been searching these threads for a week for an already posted answer and tried all suggested remedies with no results.
    My specifics,
    After a couple days ignoring the pop up to upgrade my iPhone 4CDMA to iOS6, I accidentally clicked to upgrade now button. When it finished my phone shut off, restarted with a time and date of 12/31/1969, searching for carrier signal, no wifi, all 300 contacts gone, along with all notes, reminders and text history. Within a minute, with my jaw hitting the ground my phone once again shut off. Then came on. Kept repeating in this manner.
    What I've attempted so far,
    The only way I am able to get my phone out of this constant boot loop in order to attempt anything is to plug it to my mophie or wall outlet. It still reboots repeatedly but will remain on for periods lasting up to six  or seven minutes before shutting down again.  My PC runs on winxp, I first updated to the current version of iTunes before connecting via USB, not a hub, followed the prompts t restore and as soon as the iTunes begins the process my computer crashes. Did this three times. Went to a friends with win7, could not get iTunes to recognize my phone at all. Went to another friends put my device into DFU when iTunes recognized it restore failed cuz my connection doesn't last long enough to complete. I then manually installed the .ipsw and tried it that way thinking it might be faster but it wasn't fast enough. I'm past warranty, I don't have Apple Care, I don't qualify for another upgrade until Nov 24 besides which a new phone doesn't resolve my lost data.
    Can anyone help me?

    You can't update to iOS 6, you can only update to the highest iOS version that a device supports, which for a first gen iPad is iOS 5.1.1 (if your iPad is on iOS 3 then it's a first gen), and for other iPads is iOS 7.0.2
    To update, connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad via File > Devices > Back Up.
    Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand sidebar, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

    Since upgrading to iOS6, my iPhone 4s keeps Timing out of ALL of my apps and email programs. Screen goes black for a second, then it returns to Home screen.
    Even on phone calls, it seems to freeze momentarily.
    Also my battery is not charging to 100%.
