Since upgrading to ISO7 icloud has failed to work

it keeps asking to confirm terms and condtions - but is then unable to connect to server
when I try to log in separately I get
     "this is AppleID is valid but is not an iCloud Account

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the account and then logging in again. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are using the same account details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

    Every image I have edited since upgrading to Lightroom 5 has been corrupted. First I was shooting in RAW and there was an issuw with my operating system. I upgraded to Maverick and it was supposedly fixed. Then there was an issue because LR didn't work with my camera (Nikon D90) and an update supposedly fixed that. So I finally started shooting JPEGs to try to avoid the RAW issue altogether... Now even the JPEGs say they are corrupted. I am at my wits end! Somebody please help me figure out why I can't seem to do ANYTHING anymore!

    They don't open or do you get a blank screen when you try to open them or
    do the files not have icons? It's a good sign that your jpegs are visible
    though. That does make me think the preview database or catalog in
    Lightroom is screwed up.

    What happens when you plug the camera in turn it on and select import
    photos in Lightroom? You should get to see the images on the camera. Try
    different USB cables if it doesn't work. Also try changing the USB mode on
    your camera. I think the old Nikons had a setting to change between PtP and
    Mass storage mode. Just changing it might make it work. This all does smell
    a little like the USB ports are bad on the computer something they should
    be able to diagnose at the Apple Store but you might want to ask about.

    icloud drive fails to work at all on my Macbook Air 11 inch with Yosemite recently installed, 2014-09-20. It works fine on my iMac, but that's no use to me. Unless it works with my Macbook Air, it's useless. Dropbox manages very well, but Dropbox has recently promoted the War Criminal Condoleeeza Rice to its board, presumably so it can spy on its users better. So, Apple, what's the problem? Any answers to this common problem?

    I like it very much. I use it on my iPad (and occasionally my iPhone). I'm kind of a keyboard snob actually. I tried the Apple wireless keyboard first. Apple keyboards have a short throw that hurts the tips of my fingers. They're very pretty but the on button turns on when I don't want it to and my iPad wakes up in my bag. Strike 1.
    I went to a little keyboard called the Joy and it had a positive switch so I didn't have the wakeup problem. It worked well though after several months I wore it out and had to replace it with another one. I also didn't like how flat it sat and used rubber bumpers on the back. It too had a short throw that hurt my finger tips after a while but it was better than the Apple.
    Then I discovered the Logitech bluetooth keyboard, the K811. This is a great keyboard. It switches between multiple targets with one press, it has a positive on/off switch, the keys light up, it's rechargeable and lasts a long time, and the slight cushioning on the keys keeps my fingers from hurting. I put the rubber bumpers on it though like the Joy because I like the keyboard to sit up a little. It's a tiny bit bigger than the other keyboards but I like it a lot, better than my MBA keyboard and better than my iMac wired keyboard. I'm trying out an after market keyboard on the iMac now but I'm thinking about switching to one of these for the iMac.

    Well I just fixed this, by sheer luck.
    I did a restart of my MacBook Pro, and after it restarted iCloud was visible and accessible in Finder.
    It seems all that it needs is a system restart.

    I suggest contacting apple support...I know in Australia it's 1300 321 456...Not sure what it is for where you are, try this website http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57. Alternatively, if you haven't already, sync it with iTunes. If the iPhone's not been synced before, try holding the power and home buttons down at once. That should reboot the phone. Might sound stupid, but make sure it's fully charged first.

  • Since upgrade to FCP6 playback has video noise

    I'm editing a feature film on FCP and I recently upgraded from FCP5 to FCP6. Since upgrading, I've noticed that anything I view has a lot more video noise and pixels. When I change the sequence settings, it doesn't seem to make a difference. For example, a straight edged counter top will look like it has moving hash marks instead of a straight line. Also when I export a segment into compressor, to make an mp2, the resulting clip has a lot of visible noise around movements. This never happened in the past. I digitized minidv tapes and was able to make very good quality dvds from my FCP project in FCP 5. Now everything looks pretty bad. Certainly not dvd quality anymore.
    Anyone have this problem? *I'm pretty desperate.* Thanks all!

    Try trashing your render files and re-rendering everything.

    Please help, since updating my iphone 5 to ios7.1 my icloud account has reverted to my old apple id. My apple id has been changed for quite a while and it worked fine before? I have checked my apple id and it is correct on my itunes account but not icloud. Not sure how to change it? Thanks

    To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn of  Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn of  Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    Recently upgraded to OS X 10.7.2 on both my desktop Mac and my Macbook in order to activate iCloud.  MobileMe is somehow screwing things up!  All of my contacts in my address book reverted back to an older version losing my new cleaned up contact list and duplicating every single contact entry as well as every single event in my iCal calendar!  Outgoing mail won't work properly either stating that my email server is not recognizing my user name and password.  Also have tons of POSTMASTER undeliverable mail emails in my inbox that are to people/addresses I don't know?  Why is my computer generating emails?  Have I got a virus that was installed with the upgrade?  I'm so ****** and irritated.  Should've all gone seamlessly as I did everything status quo.  Can anyone out there help me or relate?????

    On my iMac, when I open Address Book, I have sub-settings for addresses, i.e., Friends, Neighbors, Professional, etc., and those show up on my iPhone as well. But I can't access the sub-settings on my phone, only the master list. Can someone tell me how to make it all work as it did with the previous OS? Thank you.

    If the contact groups are listed on your phone, the way you access them separately is to open Contacts, tap Groups, then check only the group or groups that you want to see (and uncheck the others by tapping them), then tap Done.

  • File, edit, etc options no longer at the top of the screen since upgrade. My right-click doesn't work so I need the File, Edit options. How can I bring them back?

    I only have Firefox tabs now and have not memorized all the Command keys to use when right clicking doesn't work. How can I access "File", "edit", etc....they used to be at the top of the screen before upgrade. I need to be able to copy/paste easily. Thank you.

    The menu toolbar is hidden at default in Vista. You can use F11 to show it temporarily. Please also read this article:
