I had all my contacts deleted one day from muy address book. The Apple folks said that at times when MS Office sends an update it moves all your contacts from the address book to Outlook contacts. I had to get into Time Machine to restore my contacts in the address book.
If you do this, be sure to update each group, not just the all contacts group because pulling up all contacts will not restore the contacts to the groups you had.
If you sync with Moble Me, be careful to replace what is on Mobile Me with what is on your comptuer after you are finished restoring the contacts to your satisfaction.
I haven't switched to iCloud yet so I can't talk about syncing to it.

Firefox 33.0.2 on Windows 8.1 64 bit. Since upgrading Firefox, it no longer accepts URLs in the URL bar - it works if I have a bookmark, a link or from History, but not if I enter or paste a URL and hit <enter>, in which case nothing happens at all.
I have found that issue reported for Ubuntu (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1011935?esab=a&as=aaq) but not for Windows. The solution there to change the keyboard is not feasible since it's a laptop with a built-in keyboard.
I did not have this issue with FF 28 (I finally upgraded because I was getting BSODs) and I don't have this issue with any other Browser on same platform.
Any help appreciated.

I am thinking of purchasing Office 2011 for Mac. I run Mac OS 10.7.3 (lion) on a MacBook. I also have an iCloud account presently using Apple Mail. I would like to be able to use Outlook 2011 and sync my email, contacts and calendars. Is this going to be possible? If so, how do I go about setting that up once I've purchased Office 2011? Also, I had been using Entourage 2008. Can I import back emails, etc, from Entourage into Outlook?

Under the previous version of iOs 7, I could connect to 2 sets of headphones, and a van through bluetooth with no problems. Since the update, nothing connects, even though the iPhone can see the items. I have tried “forgetting” the devices and tried repairing them with no success.
I would contact Apple about this, but every time I tried with other problems their response was “Try waithing for the next upgrade”.
Anyone out there having the same problems, or know of any solutions?I got the same issue with my Garmin Watch.
Since I've upgraded my iPhone 5s from 7.0.4 to 7.0.5 I can't perform the pairing.
I've tried with an iPhone 5 on 7.0.4 and everything works as expected, but not with 7.0.5. I have a message who says "Pairing Unsuccessful, Pairing took too long. Make sur "tactix-xxxxx" is turned on, in range, and is ready to pair".
As I said, I don't have this message with 7.0.4.
I've performed all tips to try to resolve the bluetooth issue on my iPhone, in vain

I have a MacBook Air, Ipad 2 everything was fine. Then I upgraded it to OS X Yosemite , everything when downhill, can not even use FaceTime . i have tried everything. Can somebody help me out on this please. Thank you.Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) The usual problem is the creation of an anamorphic 16:9 file and either losing the internal flag/aspect settings or displaying the file on a media player that does not correctly use the display information embedded in the file. Physically splitting/trimming anamorphic source files in iMovie rather than splitting/trimming the source content by reference can throw away the anamorphic settings/flag when the content is re-written to the hard drive, incorrectly creating a non-anamorphic file from an anamorphic source, or incorrectly creating an anamorphic file from a non-anamorphic source can all produce your problem. To know what is happening, you will either have to provide more details regarding your workflow or provide an sample clip for examination. In some cases, depending on the video compression format involved and the target media player, the problem can be fixed without having to re-compress the file. -
Since installing Mountain Lion, Outlook 2011 crashes
Since installing Mountain Lion, Outlook 2011 crashes. A few seconds after opening I get this error message
"Microsoft Outlook must be closed because an error occurred. Any unsaved work may be lost."
Tried rebooting, haven't yet tried reinstalling Outlook from disc.
Other apps seem OK so far.
Help is greatly appreciated.Reinstalling Office 2011 did not fix the problem, but on the Microsoft.com/mac site I found instructions for rebuilding the Outlook database (Identity). This worked, I no longer have the problem with Outlook 2011 Mac.

Why is everything so difficult since 'upgrading' to Maverick. I can't sync my Outlook calendar (default) with iCal or my iPad.
Also, I can't send pictures via Dropbox any more. Two basic necessities that I just can't get to work.Microsoft didn't update Outlook to be Mavericks ready.
I don't really use Dropbox, but if their software doesn't work like it used to, they didn't update it for Mavericks.

Since upgrading iMac to osx lion I have been experiencing problems in mail, it spontaneously stops receiving and tells me it can't find the pop server and also the biggest problem is that when I send with an attachment the recipient doesn't receive it.
I have to restart mail most times before it starts recieving or recognizes the pop server.

Cannot import email from Winxp Outlook 2003 to Mountain Lion Outlook 2011
Currenlty switch from Trad. Chines Winxp Prof. SP3, MS Office 2003 (all updated) to MacBook Air Mountain Lion Outlook 2011 (both in English version and updated). Outlook 2011 problem syncing contacts with address book
I am aware that Lion has broken the sync ability of Outlook 2011 with Address Book. Hopefullly this will be fixed at some point.
So my problem is that I have decided to use a workaround to get my Address Book contents into Outlook 2011. I am not concerned with further syncing at this point. I just want to get my addresses into Outlook and hope a better fix is offered at some point.
About the only way I could figure out how to do this was to export my Address Book as vCard. I then imported the vCard file into Gmail and then exported that as a CSV file. It contained 550 addresses. I opened it in Excel and it contained 550 rows. Great so far.
I then Imported into Outlook 2011 and chose import a text file. When the mapping window opened, it showed over 890 files instead of 550 and the fields were not mapped correctly. I could not complete the import because it was so screwed up.
So I'm back to square one and very frustrated. There must be others who have the same issue and maybe have figured out a way to do this. Please help.Hi Michael Erb1,

I totally agree. I just wasted .5 hrs trying to figure out how to manipulate and sync the reminders with the iCAl. Thanks for posting this thread online, I can stop wasting my time now. Apple, please change it back or make these apps sync.
Side note. I was creating my to do list and found the ability to asign a date by draging the task to the calendar in the bottom right. Then I discovered that I can drag that same reminder/to-do task into iCal and it will be created as an event. Would be great if I could simply sync the reminders to iCal instead of draging them over though. Then when I make the change in one the other can update with the next sync. This also prevents human error if I drag and drop the reminder onto the wrong date in iCal. -
