Since upgrading to windows 8.1 I can not see any local files in the files window.

I have recently upgraded to windows 8.1 and can no longer see my local files in the files window. All remote files for all remote sites are visable.
If I change sites under local view get error thet dreamweaver can not update cache

I have deactivated and am trying to reload software inside of windows 8.1.

I honestly don't know if DW CS5 is compatible with Win 8.1. The OS compatibility FAQ only mentions DW CS6 & CC.

Since upgrading my 4s iPhone to the latest iOS , I now can not see many wi-fi locations beyond my home network. Friends can find and connect to many wifi networks yet my iPhone does not even see them. I can not recall prior to the upgrade whether in the settings whether turning on the wifi was shown as wifi or WLAN however the on/off is now WLAN. Not sure what the difference is. Hi there. I have had numberous problems with my upgrade to IOS6, particularly with the Camera/Photos. Two big ones: The camera does not orient itself properly when taking horizontal photos. You take a horizontal photo and it never rotates properly. So I have to go into Photo Shop and rotate each one manually. Sometimes it does not recognize horizontal from vertial when taking as well.
Also, I can not download ANY videos to iphoto or via Image Capture. The error I get for every video (both new videos shot after upgrade and those that date back to before the upgrade): Import Error An error occured while importing. The item ZZZZ.MOV was not imported.
I have all my software updates on both my phone and computer.
Any suggestions?

I would try restarting you Mac if you haven't already. If you still can't get either iPhoto or Image Capture to work, you could try something else, like PhotoSync or PhoneView.

The Home page fonts are microscopic and my email has reduced fonts since upgrading to this version. I do not see any method to adjust in Help.

Fonts on the home page can not be read because they are so small. when I go to my email the fonts are reduced from the previous version of Firefox. I have looked at all of the help topics and I can not find a resolution to change the fonts to a larger size.

Since upgrading to OS Lion, airport express can't see any remote speakers to pair with. Why?

ML will show the AVCHD as a pkg, so you are not able view the directories like BDMV-->Stream-->MTS. You can right click AVCHD file, then choose show package contents. you will see BDMV, then you right click BDMV to choose show package, you will see stream folder, just do it again, you will find MTS files. Next time if you want to check the MTS files you just need to do above again. right click AVCHD....
Another way, rename AVCHD to AVCHD.mts then do it same with BDMV and Stream folder, it will let you see MTS files after that. Those mts files will keep showing on your mac next time.

Assuming Apple doesn't eviscerate the files of the secondary graphics with another upgrade, there could be a plug in that reads the graphic and runs along side iTunes..we should get someone or Apple to program an alternative If we have to accept this downgrade in iTunes proper.
I've developed a quick workaround, and am still hoping Apple will fix this!
Go To Get Info on the tune you want to see secondary artwork for.
Go To the Artwork tab
Drag the back cover to the desktop, and it will create a new jpg you can open with quick viw or prieview where you can see it large!
you end up with a lot of jpgs on the desktop to discard!

Yes. Reinstall iTunes. If that is the point at which you stopped trying the support suggestions then it makes sense to me, that you move on to the next suggestion and if reinstalling iTunes is the next suggestion, so be it.
However .... I too have issues that arise out of the blue with my iPad being recognized in iTunes and what I always do and it eventually works is to quit iTunes, restart my MacBook, and reboot my iPad.
Rebooting the iPad is the last thing that I do and only if I have no success with quitting iTunes and restarting the Mac. It may take a few tries to work, but if you are that dead set against reinstalling iTunes, then give it a try.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

By default the photos will be sorted by the date modified.

It is possible that the screen is too high and that the status bar and scroll bar fall off at the bottom.
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.<br />
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.

Mac can not see any printers.
I have 2 other computers (1 windows / 1 Mac Book) using the printers just fine but once device can not even find a printer. Any ideas?
Printer is Ricoh Aficio MP C3501
The computer could not find the printers so I cleared them from system preferences. Updated everything, including downloading the most up to date driver, restarted and still can not see any printers.

I realize that two out of your three computers can see your printer, but one MacBook Pro will not. You have also done some great troubleshooting by deleting the printer, installing drivers, and trying to re-add the printer. If the issue continues, I would suggest resetting the printing system. If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
Reset the printing system, then add the printer again.

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

The curser shows there are links when you move over. I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and restarted my computer with no luck.
