Sinds I install Lion Previeuw and textedditor is not working

Sinds I install Lion, the texteditor and previeuw Is not working anymore.
For reading PDF's I install Adobe reader and that is not a problem.
Has anyone any idear how to fix this problem.

So you launch Safari and what? Provide a link to the google site that's not working for you. Update to the latest version of Flash Player. Make sure it's on in System Preferences>Flash Player.

drag the other clip 'over' the main clip
the 2nd clip has to be selected/yellow border...

Installed Lion yesterday and Timemachine doesn't work.

Timemachine starts up but then advised that it failed as either the drive was ejected or disconnected. I can see and open the drive with Finder as well as open a couple of files I have on the drive. Once I do that, and restart the backup, the system tells me that the backup file is in use. I have an external drive connected through Airport Extreme and is formatted for the iMac.

No, you were misled, partly because Apple won't put anything on it's website or train their reps.
As noted in the link, it does work, sometimes, to a degree, for some people.
But most likely, your backups will turn up corrupted, probably beyond repair, sooner or later. There are many, many threads in this forum saying exactly that.
This has been the case since Leopard was released (and Time Machine introduced), about 4 years ago.
There might be a new Airport Extreme coming, but after 4 years, an update to the old ones is not in the cards. It appears to be some limitation in the hardware, or Apple would have fixed it already.

Once I wrote my password, and for now on, everytime I start the session, another window advise me that "Java SE 6" is missing, due that, the computer can't run some "CS5Service Manager". If I try to install it, the download ends with an error. If finally, you skip the istallation, you arrive to the dock, but the menu bar at the top of the screen doesn't show up.
In addition, my trackpad doesn't works either. I can move the arrow but i can't click anywhere, probably because the option of clicking by touching is disabeled and I can't performance a regular click.
I'll be very glad if someone know what the heck is happening with my computer. Anyway, I'm going to the genius bar next Saturday. Thx!

Some folks have discovered that changing their DNS service fixes FaceTime connection issues.
The ideal way is to configure your modem/router with DNS service, but often settings in System Preferences/Network/Advanced/DNS on your Mac will override the router settings. Try either of these;

Are you installing OS X Lion over an existing installation of Snow Leopard, or are you reinstalling?
First be sure you have everything on your system backed up. Then reboot with the Command-R keys held to get to the OS X Lion recovery volume. In here, select Disk Utility and use the First Aid tab in here to run a verification on your boot drive. If there are any errors, fix them and then try the installation again.
The next step would be to format the drive, so with your backup secured, use Disk Utility's Erase tab to re-format the drive to Mac OS X Extended (journaled), and then quit Disk Utilty and attempt the installation again.

I don't really understand why Lion slows down computers, but it obviously does. What worked for me is upgrading my memory from 2GB to 4GB. Also, check your hard drive space. If it is close to full, try upgrading your hard disk to a better model.
If neither of those work, you might have to do a clean reinstall of Lion. This involves cleaning out all your data and reinstalling your OS.
Cache-file cleaners like SpeedUp Mac ($29.99) can help a lot if Lion was pre-installed on your Mac, but if you installed Lion manually, they don't really do much.
Tip: NEVER try MacKeeper to make your Mac "faster": I had the misfortune of it wiping out all my data (movies, music, photos, iMovie projects, iPhoto photo books and faces, etc.)

You can also use the OS X Lion installer from the Mac App Store to create an external bootable drive, complete with a Recovery HD partition. See this article for more details. This approach will, at least, create a bootable drive with Recovery HD which you can carry with you in case you need to use Internet Restore or make use of the other utilities Recovery HD provides.
