Singale line in Production order

Dear Experts..
While doing MB1A (Material issue to production order) we are getting 2 lines that is required quntity and set up.
We usually issue full quntity to production but while doint the entry the user need to seperate it and enter.
This will couse a issue most of the time the user calculate worngly or enter it wrongly..
Pls help me how I can get 1 single line that includes required qty and set up..

Set up qty means fixed qty, that is consumed before starting the mass production.
Example if I want to produce 10 stickers my raw material would be 1 meter of label.
We will define in the BOM 1 meter for 10 stickers and another line fixed qty 0.5 meter while doing the production 0.5 meter will get waste and using another 1 meter we produce 10 stickers. while issuing the material am getting 2 lines though its common raw material but 1 belongs to 1 meter qty another one fixed qty that is 0.5 meter.

Production order with pipe line material

Production ordre created and got confirmed and found pipe line materials got stuck in COGI and on analysis found in that specific ordrer ordre pipe line material are not activated with special stock key indicator i.e. 4.
Due to this it got stuck in cogi and for the same material created an order and found there is a allocation and activated with special stock key indicator i.e. 4.
Help me to resolve the existing Goods issue from COGI and cause of not activated with special stock key indicator i.e. 4. in production order.

Dear ,
did the pipe line material is showing in production reservation as one of the BOM compoenent?
If it is the case , then cancel the confirmation in CO13 and try to connfirm the operation with Clear Reservation Option .

Production order from sales order with multiple line item(for one material)

Dear Gurus,
I am working in MTO scenarios. If there is several line item in a sales order for one material, multiple production order( same as no. of sales order line item) is getting created against each of the line item.My requirement is,since the material code is same in each line item and sales order is one, one production order should be generated for all line item. please tell me how to do it.
(Here for one material, multiple line item is required for some specific reason)

Hi,
This is not possible.
In Std SAP will create one production order for one sales order. The stock is also allocated to thet particular sales order only. Because each and every sales order may vary in any one of the parameters. Considering this, SAP has designed like this.

Schedule line delivery date of sales ordere in production order-MTO

We have a Make to order scenario where item in sales order can have mutliple scheule lines on different delviery dates.
Ex : sales order 100020 and item no 0010
has schedules with schedule line dates as
10.04.2010----1pcs
20.04.2010---1pcs
03.05.2010----1pcs
When the planned orders are converted to production orders, the 1 del date (EDATU) in the all the three production orders is the same ie the earliest delivery date (10.04.2010), even though the delviery dates are different for three as shown above.
Is there a way we can show the indivdual delivery dates on all the three production orders.
production order 1----- 1 del date as 10.04.2010
production order 2 -
1 del date as 20.04.2010
production order 3 ---1 del date as 03.05.2010

Schedule lines for an external operation in a production order

Hi All,
I have an external operation defined in a production order and a scheduling agreement is assigned to it in the Routing operation details. Now, i want to generate schedule lines when a production order created but the system always generating a purchase requisition. Do we need something to be configured in the background? Please help!
The idea is to have the goods receipt done against the same agreement always.

Hi Sravan,
As per my view point, this is standard SAP behaviour. System will generate PR only in case of external operation.
If you go to OPL8 (Order type dependent parameters) for your respective order type & plant combination you have option of maintaining setting related to PR only and there is no option of using scheduling agreement or generating schedule lines.
I don't see any possibility to use scheduling agreement using to have schedule lines for external operation.

Sales Order Schedule line not populating in the Production order

Queation: Is there a way to tell the system to look at the sales order, line item AND schedule line. It is displayed in MD04 but it doesn't carry over to the Production Order. We are a MTO and this information is relevant in a number of ways.
Please Help.

If you are using MTO scenario then when you run the MRP for the material, it will create a planned order for that sales order based on the dates calculated from the sales order schedule line (Shipping tab)...
So now when you convert the planned order to production order, all the sales order details will get copied.
try and revert back.

Unfortunetly SAP is not in front of me.
But if possible go to BAPI transaction , check for any production order's bapi for CHANGE purpose. Where you will be able to add your new line.

I think it depends on your configuration. But check fields KDAUF and KDPOS in table AUFK. or in table AFPO.

Updating lines in a production order

Hi Experts,
A customer of mine wants to have the ability to change items in production orders.
So if a particular item is out of stock it can be replaced by another item in multiple production orders.
I now made a add-on which can do this. Despite there is one condition that makes it impossible to update any line on the production order: This happens when the the first line of the production order has been issued for production. If this occurs it is not possible to update any other line on the production order.
This is very rare, cause I can still update all lines (that have not been issued) in SAP so why can't I do it via DI API?
I hope someone is familiar with this problem and can give me an advise how to solve this.

PLD Production Order need to add BOM lines

I have a need to add the comments from the BOM lines table (ITT1) to the production order.
As soon as I add the field (copied the definition from the BOM report) the lines go wild. I go from 5 lines to 35 lines with the production components printing multiple times.
Any body have a way to link the BOM lines to the production order lines so I get the right lines printing?

I would suggest you create a user field at the Production Order Rows and use the following formatted search to copy the comments from the BOM definitions.
This user field can be easily added to the PLD and will help avoid duplicating rows which you are currently facing.

we have one user requirement as such
Production Order line item quantity should be same as Sale order line item qnty.
suppose for SO Line item he is ordered 100mts,Production of this paricular Line item should also be 100mts it should not be more than this,How to satisfy his requirement.

If the Manual intervention is eliminated for processing of the data then the SO Line Item Qty will be equal to Production order Qty.
Background Jobs for MRP Run, Planned Order to production order cretaion will help you to manage this, along with effective Authorization Management.

Reservation problem in production order for PIPE line materials

while releasing the specific production order reservation number generated but in generated reservation pipe line materials are not existig hence while doing confimation as backflush indicator activated hence this got stucked in COGI.
On observation found this specific order generated with refernce to other oreder which is not confirmed yet.
& for the same materials orders been created for long time they got confirmed successfully with goods movement.
what could be reason for this order ,please suggest to over come this.

Replicate the Sales order Line Item Text to Production Order

I want to replicate the Sales Order Line Item Text to Production Order? Please tell me if this is Functional job or a Developers Job?
I believe this can be achieved by customization and doesnot need any programming and I am trying hard to gather relevant posts for this, but didnt find any.
Please help me with some information if some body encountered this earlier.

Production Order header Qty change without changing the line qty

This is one of the requirement from my client. He has to change header planned qty without changing line planned qty in the production order. They are doing this to avoid the wip variance account posting. Can we achieve this through SDK? If so how?

You can over write the planned quantity by the base quantity in each line.
