Single App Annual Subscription Question.

I own a licensed hard copy of Lightroom 4 and wanted to take out an annual subscription to the cloud version of Photoshop CS6 at £17.58 per month. I'm a photographer and only want to use Lightroom and Photoshop.
I was having a chat with an Adobe online persona called Nathan who informed me that if I took this type of subscription out then I wouldn't recieve any free updates or upgrades to Photoshop CS6; and that in order to do so I need to take out a full £46.88 per month subscription.
As I said, I only want Photoshop as I already own Lightroom.
I am not particularly bothered at this juncture if I didn't qualify for a free upgrade to CS7 when it comes, but I assumed that Photoshop CS6 version updates would be free.
Please can someone tell me if I'm right; and if I'm not, and updates are not free then what is the point of the single app subscription?

You heard "I wouldn't receive any free updates or upgrades to Photoshop CS6"
- You would get any product specific updates that were non-Creative Cloud, same as customers who own Photoshop CS6. Creative Cloud customers get the benefit of getting new feature updates as soon as they are ready versus the next product upgrade.
Any ongoing bug fixes, security patches, and other update releases that do not require full upgrades will be made available through the Adobe Application Manager just as in the regular versions of Adobe software.
- Upgrades usually refer to a next version of the software, so if you had a subscription when PS CS7 came out, yes you would get access to that version
Benefits of single app subscription
- You could purchase it on a month to month if you wanted
- License is cross-platform (you could install on both a Mac and a PC)
- 20GB of online storage with Creative Cloud files
One other item I didn't see on the FAQ that I would want you to know, the single app subscription is the standard version of Photoshop CS6 - the version that comes with Creative Cloud is Photoshop CS6 Extended.

SIngle app subcriptions for Teams FAQs mentions bridge is available for Illustrator single app subscribers, but can't find the same Information for Individuals.

Thank you but those links didn't answer to my question.
I've contacted Adobe's Customer Service for three times about this subject.
Their first two answers were that I won't have access to Bridge with a single app subscription of Illustrator.
My third and last attempt to clarify this issue was "(...) you will get access to Adobe Bridge CC if you purchase Illustrator".
I'd appreciate if any member who subscribed as an Individual to Illustrator with the Single app subscription can confirm that has access to Adobe Bridge CC.

What is included in a single app CC subscription?

Adobe has decent information about what is included in a full subscription but I'm having diffuculty finding exactly what is included (or excluded) in a single app (e.g. PS CC) plan. I see this:
20GB of cloud storage for file sharing and collaboration
Limited access to services
What are the limited access to services? Is free access to Behance and Behance ProSite included? Is Bridge CC included? Is Creative Cloud file versioning included?

Single apps for Teams question

Adobe is now offering a single app for teams and I very am interested.
If there is any non Adobe Staff that can answer my question I would appreciate it.
I have a CC for Teams account with only one seat. I have 304 PDF files of approved catalogue pages.
My client would like to collect pages to put in PDF Catalogues and multi-page flyers.
If I add Acrobat as a single app for teams to my account, (or more than one) Can I give it (assign) to my client but I pay for it?
And most importantly can they see and have access to all 304 I have on the CC account for Teams folders?
If there is anyone with hands on information that does not work for Adobe would you please let me know before I stick my neck out again.

I have my own cloud server that I can share files and folders with my clients I could NOT wait for 'soon" from Adobe.
But if I can purchase and authorize just Acrobat Pro for my clients from my team account then I don't have to buy retail copies that I give away to my clients.
I could actually save money this time.

If I purchase a Creative Cloud single app, Photoshop subscription, can I use my photoshop plug-ins?

If you want to know the if you will get the same product as you have in perpetual purchase of Photoshop. than the answers is yes and you can do all things which you can do in standalone Photoshop license.

Moving from single app subscriptions (x 2) to annual Complete plan

Hi,
I'm a freelancer on a tight budget and, up until now have only had InDesign and Muse on a month-by-month plan as I did not regularly need Muse and it was more cost effective if I could only subscribe on the months needed. I have just got a new client who now works in the latest version of Illustrator and I need to upgrade to the full Creative Cloud Complete package.
However, my subscriptions/payments for InDesign and Muse only went out yesterday and the day before. I have been told on the Adobe chat that there will be no refund or concessionary discount for the first month to prevent me having to pay out £45+ TWICE in one month. (As most freelancers will know, budgets are very tight lately!)
Is there any way around this? I want to sign up for the Complete package in order to do the work for my client, but currently don't have enough in my account to pay the first month's subscription as payment for my single-app subscriptions have only just gone out.
I would be grateful if someone from Adobe could look into this for me to see if anything can be done please?

Questions about Adobe Muse CC single-app membership.

When speaking to adobe customer service reps about Adobe Muse I feel like their taking me around in circles. My annual membership to the current Adobe Muse is going to expire in June. So before I sign on for another year I had some basic questions that seem to be baffling the adobe reps. one rep called Travis just hung up on me.
My questions;
With an Adobe Muse CC single-app membership.
Can I host a site on Business Catalyst for free?
The rep said I have to purchase Business Catalyst separately from Adobe Muse

With an Adobe Muse subscription, you get BC website hosting for 1 webBasics site. With a subscription to the creative cloud, hosting for 5 webBasics sites are included.
Single app subscriptions get 20GB of storage space on creative cloud.

Converting Single App membership to Full -Staff question ?

Hi …… I currently have two Annual single App Membership plans running: Photoshop - AD001472772UK and PremPro - AD001752956UK. I’ve been trialling other Apps available in CC and find I could now use at least 4 others. In the UK the full membership is approx £47 ppm. Six Apps equates to £7.8 ppm for each with access to all the others etc. The math works for me and I would like to increase my Single App membership to a Full Annual subscription.
How do I go about this please without incurring any financial penalty? My Photoshop membership fee has already been paid this month, my PremPro membership is new and I don’t believe any payment has yet been requested.

Beverley Hi, I've just spent 30 mins on a Chat session with Jacky, one of your Support people. A very productive use of time. She informs me that my two previous App single memberships have been cancelled and I now have full membership. She also confirmed that no cancellation charges have been raised for the remaining term on the singles.

I assume no further action is needed but it would be nice to know the Photoshop Single App plan has been cancelled.

No. It's subscription only - it's not leasing, rent-to-own or hire purchase.
Your first 12 months is a contract commitment. You commit to paying 12 months subscription.
After 12 months, you can renew for another 12 months of subscription payments and software use.
If you do not renew your subscription contract, the software will stop working until you renew your membership (could be weeks, months or years later).

Single-App Subscription

I would like to have a single app subscription, however I see that requires as CS3-6 serial number. Is there any way I can subscribe to Photoshop CC without the aforementioned serial number?

It is the single application annual or month to month option on the page I referenced in message #1. As Harrieb indicated you need to choose the normal annual or month to month subscription.
You might also try a different web browser if you are not seeing the options you are looking for.

How can I change from indesign to Photoshop on a single app subscription

I was recently doing magazine work which I am now no longer doing. Therefore, Photoshop would be a better fit to my needs than InDesign. Could I switch the single application subscription from one product to another? If so, how?
