Single App Photoshop

I need photoshop to 'erase/delete' the background of a photo of a graphic I painted. I think the singe app photoshop is the best option for me but am unsure. What would be best option for what I am trying to accomplish?
Also I have a Mac, but my OS X version is 10.6.8. Do I need to update my software in order to use photoshop through the CC?

You need to have a previous commercial license for Photoshop CS3-CS6 to qualify for this program (suites, volume licenses or education versions don't qualify).

Only having a Photoshop membership does not qualify you for this program.

I am new to creative cloud and can't download my single app Photoshop CC. I have already talked to one tech and he could not do it.

Switch language on a Creative Cloud single-app photoshop

I just downloaded a Creative Cloud single-app photoshop, got a Danish version, but will prefer an English version. Can I switch language?

I just went through this earlier today. So much pain. Such experience.
First, you change the language in the Adobe Creative Cloud preferences, per the earlier referenced thread. http://forums.adobe.com/message/5906972#5906972
Next, click the download button on the Photoshop item in Apps in Creative Cloud. This will download the entire application again, so it will take some time, but will only install the new language file. This will NOT automatically change your language in any app...one more step...
Finally, in Photoshop, go into the Interface Preferences and set the interface language. Restart Photoshop. The interface should be in the selected language.
(for other apps you have to uninstall the app after setting the language in Creative Cloud, and then re-download and install through CC)

I have single app Photoshop CC subscription. I own inDesign 5.5. Want to take the 29.95 offer.

All I want to do is sign up for the 29.95 offer. No one ever came online to respond to my chat questions. It seems that every time I have to deal with an Adobe issue, it take several hours and I alwys have the feeling something is still not right. My question : how do i sign up for the 29.95 deal and not wind up in the online chat rep endless loop. A to Z steps please.

Of course, I had already tried that route, and wound up in an endless loop of no help at all. No response from chat; app just sat there. Same from laptop.
So the question remains : Can a live person, somewhere, simply tell me how to take advantage of the 29.95 offer. I currently have PS CC subscription, own a legal, boxed copy of inDesign 5.5, want to be able to convert my trial of ID CC to a full subscription ID CC. I'm also wondering why if Photoshop CC and LR are available for 9.95 monthly I have been charged twice as much.

I subscripted for a single app Photoshop

I followed all the instruction but the only thing that i downloaded is a trial version and it is counting down . I contacted tecnical support and the guy reinstalled everything new and it is still the same every time i open Photoshop i get a pop-up screen this is a trialversion so manny days left .....
I have until 23 November to cancel my Lincense i did not sing up for a trialversion and i did not ever downloaded a trialversion to see if i liked it.
What could be the problem
My Computer is a brandnew 27' imac intel core 3.5 I7 with 8gb ram , Nividia GTX 780 4096 MB

Run the trial version, then
under the Help menu in Photoshop click on "Sign in"
Then enter your Adobe ID (usually the email you signed up under) and your password. This will change the Trial version into a subscription version. You must be connected to the Internet to do this. Be sure your Firewall does not block Photoshop.
Photoshop should then present you with a license screen. Click on "I agree" and it should work.

If not, login into adobe.com and under your name in the upper right portion of the page,click the down pointing arrow and look under "My Orders" to see if your order has been placed. There should be an order number you can give to customer service.

If you want to know the if you will get the same product as you have in perpetual purchase of Photoshop. than the answers is yes and you can do all things which you can do in standalone Photoshop license.

Upgrading Multiple Single App Subscriptions

I had multiple single app subscriptions for Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I upgraded the Dreamweaver one to the full Creative Cloud membership, and am wondering how or if I can cancel the remaining Photoshop single app subscription without being charged for the remainder of the years payments.
Not quite sure how it works but it's my second year subscribed to both Dreamweaver and Photoshop on the monthy plan, about 2 months into this years payments with 10 months to go. Since I'm upgrading one (paying more) I would be sad if I also had to finish this years payments for my remaining Single App Photoshop plan.

The option you provided is quite possible, you can cancel Illustrator subscription and then upgrade Photoshop subscription to creative cloud membership or vice versa. I can't get Lightroom to Download to add to my Single App PSCC.

I have the single app Photoshop CC subscription, and I understand that I am able to download Lightroom free. However, everytime I try to download it, the CC box is empty. I saw somewhere that it was suggested to someone with a slightly different issue to remove the OPM.db file and relogin, but I don't want to make things worse. Any ideas? I am about at the end of my rope and am rethinking leaving Aperture for Lightroom. :/

64 bit support is required for lightroom 5 software.
The Creative Cloud only lists the applications in the list that are compatible to your system.
Please check if your system meets the minimum system requirements for Lightroom 5 : http://www.adobe.com/in/products/photoshop-lightroom/tech-specs.html
If you are using a 64 bit system and still unable to see the software in the list, then try removing the Creative Cloud Desktop app and reinstall and check.

Switching plan from Single app Plan to Photography Plan

I just switched my plan from single app Photoshop $19.99/month plan to the Photoshop & Lightroom $9.99/month plan because I don't use everything on the larger plan. My original renewal date was in either June or July. Will I be charged fees for changing my plan today?
