Single Item Multi Level Planning to be triggered from Sales Order

Hi all,
I am using strategy 50 and want planning for single item to be carried out at the time of sales order creation to avoid MRP run everytime sales order is created..In order to achieve it i checked Automatic Planning Indicator in "OVZG" for the requirement class "045" which is requirement class for sales order of strategy 50. But still unable to achieve the desired result..
Please guide me through.

Hi all,
I am using strategy 50 and first two levels of the finished good are make to order. Whenever i create sales order a planned order is automatically created for the finished material but for the material level below no planned order is create. Please guide me how can i achieve automatic planned order creation for the materials which are one level below the finished material (Note: Assembly is also of make-to-order strategy)

    HI shah,
    in sales order go to Procurement tab there u will get the requirement type. system will determine requirement class based upon following criteria
    1) by strategy group in material master
    2) if strategy group not there then MRP group
    3) if mrp group not there then material type
    4) by this also not able to fine the requirement type then special rule is used with the help of item category and mrp type
    5) if this also fails then it will go with item category only
    6) this also fails then it will give any requirement type

  • Item line with category TAD not copied from Sales order to delivery

    Hello,
    we have a sales order with one line item with line item category TAN and one line item with line item category TAD.
    When we deliver the sales order, only the line item with category TAN will be copied into the delivery. So there is only one line item in the delivery, but we need both to be copied.
    I checked VTLA and the header entry LF delivery OR standard order has both line items on item level.
    Setting on header level:
    Order requirements: 001
    Combination requirement 051
    Header Data: 001
    Header Data ext Sys 0
    Handling Units: 000
    Copy item number: unchecked
    Any suggestions?

  • Project Revenue Plan Not Update from Sales Order Item

    I am generating a network and project from the sales order item using Assembly processing. I am using milestone billing on the sales order item and the milestones attached to the project network activities are appearing as billing blocks on the sales order item billing plan. However, the project revenue is not getting updated from the sales order billing plan. Can someone please help?
    I have deleted the billing plan on the billing WBS element and activated revenue planning update from sales order in cusomization for PS. I am looking at CNS41 under the project revenue sched in version 0. Is there a different report I should be looking at?

    HI Venkat,
    You are looking at the correct report & I believe you have also done the necessary customization. If you create a sales order and reference it to a quotation, the related plan values in the WBS element are refreshed automatically.
    When the payment data is recorded, the terms of payment and the customer payment history are taken into consideration. One of the probable causes could be the credit limit of the customer might have been exceeded. Take help of your SD consultant & increase the credit limit for that customer (from the sales document), t-code FD32 if it is permitted in the business.
    After the new credit limit is set execute the following steps:
    u2022     Go to the t-code Change billing request (VA02)
    u2022     Open the required billing request
    u2022     Remove the account assignment of WBS element from each line item
    u2022     Save the billing request
    u2022     Reopen the billing request in change mode
    u2022     Reassign the WBS elements to all line items
    u2022     Now the changed credit limit will take affect
    u2022     Check the Planned Revenue for the said project in CNS41, it should get updated.

    In my company COGS account is a cost element.when PGI(post goods issue) was posted, sap will automatically create an accounting dcument
    CR:stock account ( profit center from material master data or from sales order)
    DT:Cost of goods sold ( profit center from cost center master data)Can we default profit center from material master data(or from sales order) in the COGS line item

    What is your current Version? Is it ECC6 and New GL implemented? Document split configuration will help you.
    If you are not using ECC6 and New GL, then try T.Code 3KEH and determine profit center based on Valuation area.    OR
    You may look into GL Line item level, Write a Validation Rule to select profit center.

    Hi Experts,
    I have below queries ,
    1. What are the controls to generate/create a purchase requisition from a sales order.
    Is this possible that a Pur. req generated from a sales order but sales order is not its account assignment.
    How item text from the sales order can be copied to purchase Requisition, does settings in purchase requisition in SPRO (Purchasing Purchase req-text for purchase req----define copying rules) works only for automatically created Pur req.??
    item text from sales order can be copied for PR created through MRP or planned orders converted to PR.??
    I will appreciate if someone can provide me documentation on basics of sales and distribution at my email

    hello, friend.
    i can only answer part of your question as i am not sure of the others.  however, yes... you can automatically create a purchase requisition from the sales order. 
    one example is third party sales.  because of the item category group that you specified in the material master, the sales document determines an item category (and schedule line) that controls the creation of the purchase requisition.  here, the system knows that you must source the material from your vendor for delivery to your customer.
    further, as in the above case, when your company creates the PO with reference to the PR, your company appears as the buying entity but the ship-to address is that of your customer.
    i did not understand your question on account assignment.  please elaborate and we'll see if we can come up with the answer.
    if you wish to see documentation, you could refer to SAP's article on Third Party Sales.  other scenarios such as just-in-time inventory for trading companies or make-to-order companies may also apply.

  • Item Quantity not Copied exactly from sales order while creating Invoice

    Hi Experts,
    at
    My Functional Guy encountered a strange problem while creating Invoice from Sales Document.Actually there are 6 line material items in the order and the sixth line item is having a quantity of 8EA While trying to generate an invoice from sales order the sixth line item billed quantity gets converted to 70EA automatically  in the invoice .This only happens with the sixth line item and the remaining all are fine.I have checked OSS Notes and could not get a.ny fruitful results.Please let me know if you have any suggestions.I also checked with the functional guy whether its the problem due to copy controls.But everything is fine.Please help

    Are your invoices combing multiple delivery line items based upon copy control/invoice split/combine configuration settings?
    If your order was for 8 and you delivered 8, and there is no conversion for units, and the only quantity being included is for a single order line and delivery line, then there must be an error in customer-written exit or enhancement code that you have yet to find.  What do you see in debug when the data for this line is being collected and set?

  • How to release Stock blocked against deleted line items from  Sales order.

    We have Scenario as follows.
    Sales order made for  items available in stock.  Deleted few lineitems from sales order balance items delivered and invoiced. Sales cycle is complete in all sense.
    What we have noticed is when we are creating new sales order / Delivery for deleted items from above Sales order it shows deleted quantity is blocked against old sales order. These line items are no longer
    available in old sales order since it is deleted also it is not appearing in open sales order report (VA05).
    Overall stock available is same as quantity mentioned in deleted line item.
    In MD04 - Sales requirenment transaction it shows sales order / line item against which it is blocked.
                    i.e deleted line item.
    How to release these stock and make available for sales. Any standard process available ? or any other solutions

    I got a solution for my question from other forum. for info
    Go to SE38 and enter program SDRQCR21 then execute...
    Enter line item which is blocked for sales order in MD04 and enter plant then check Data
    transfer box and uncheck other boxes... It will pop up information and click yes...
    You will get one report and Stock inconsistency will go off and then check it in MD04....

    in the partial delivery scenario, the sales order items always be a open.
    you can see the document flow of that document by using Tcode : VA03 then click on'update document flow' icon. then system will show the status.
    i.e  sales order is 'being processed'
      outbound delivery is completed
    billing document is completed
    and accounting document in not cleared.

    Once the Billing document and corresponding Accounting document created, then you have to cancel the BILLING DOCUMENT to change the Price.
    To change the Price , If it is Manual price directly you can change in the Billing document.
    If the Price is coming from the CONDITION RECORDS then you have to UPDATE the pricing to the  CARRY OUT NEW PRICING in the Billing documents, with Option B
    i want to delete line item from sales order after PGI
    like after delivery customer want to change the goods .
    For this you have to reverse the PGI in the Transaction code VL09 and then cancel the DELIVERY in VL02N---Delete.
    Now you can change the Goods in the Sales document in VA02.
    Please check the above and revert.

  • Different ship to party for one of two line items from sales order

    Hi Experts,
    1. The Sales Order No.19701 is an Export Order, received from M/s. Industries & Construction, Indonesia. We have to supply all the materials on FOB Indian seaport basis.
    2. However, we have to dispatch  against Line Item No. 280 & 290 to one of our subvendors, M/s.Industries, sec,rabad  to complete some Control Assly. as per agreed Inspection terms.
    3. After completion of Control Assembly & Client's Inspection materials will be finally dispatched to nearest Seaport for seafreight.
    So here i can i map this scenario from sales order to billing, ship to party for those 2 items must be sub vendor.

    You can map different ship to party . First you need to configure customer master for the same.
    Add the alternate ship to parties to customer master of sold to party,  your export customer.
    While creating master data for sub vendors as ship to party ,you need to maintian proper customer pricing pricing procedure and tax classification as you mentioned customer is export customer ,but ship to party  seems to be domestic ,so carefully check the same. also check the shipping condition if it is separate for exports.
    Then in Sales order transaction on line item data ,change your ship to party for the line item as per the the requirement.
    for further processing  of this scenario ,like  excise invoice and ARE1 u might have lsome issues  if ship to party is liable for duties and taxes and Sold to is exempt and you are drawing only one invoice for these 2 separate deliveries. pl check on the same.

    Hi Friends.
    I found the solution...
    Its customization mistake..
    Solution:
    When we have 'n' tax categories then we should have 'n' condition tables..
    I have 2 tax categories: JCST and JVAT but i have only one condition table 368 which is wrong.. i should have 2 condition tables.. so i created another con. table 468 and assigned to access aeq JLST.
    then when i create cond. record , we have to select the appropriate table then it will fetch accordingly.. in sales order..

    No Implications simple credit check will not happen order level it will happen delivery level .
    *system will not conceded at order level open order will not be calculated
