Single port forwarding

wrvs4400n on the new port forwarding it has 1 blank spot at the bottem the others filled in but not enabled. I have used the blank with port 80 on a IP cam and now have another IP cam and need to use another, do I just change one of the other ones filled in but not enabled or what

if i were you id use the PORT RANGE FORWARDING you can enter other ports from there since you have another CAM if you have another port assigned to it you can enter...
Application     Start     End     Protocol     IP address     Enable
CAM1             8000     8000   both            xx.xx.xx.xx     check
CAM2             9000     9000   both            xx.xx.xx.xx     check

  • Router won't save settings of Single Port Forward or Port Range Forwarding

    Hi everyone, I'm having a bit of trouble tonight trying to get my Playstation 3 to play games online and in doing so I'm attempting to enable Single Port Forwarding and or Port Range Forwarding.
    To start, I am using this link below this paragraph as a guide.
    http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Cisco/Linksys-E1000/PS3_Endless_Saga.htm
    Each time I go and set the settings and click save, it tells me the settings have been saved successfully then when I click continue onto the next page it shows they actually haven't saved at all. My router is out of it's 90 day phone support with Linksys and I refuse to pay anything extra for support so I'm hoping someone else will be able to help me with my issue since they refuse to unless I pay them.

    Hello. Sucks you ran into trouble just after PSN got back online
    Try clearing your cache / cookies then re-do the settings. Also, try using a different Internet browser.

  • WRT160Nv2-Problem with Single Port forward to multiple servers with same internal port numbers.

    On my network I have 3 systems that I've set up as RDP hosts.  And need to get to all three of them externally.  So I'm trying to do the following single port forwarding.
    RDP 1   Forward 4000 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.11
    RDP 2   Forward 4001 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.12
    RDP 3   Forward 4002 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.14
    When I hit "Save Changes" I get the error "Port range already exists".  So it's good that it won't let me overlap ports generally, but at the same time, I'm trying to send them to different IP address.  There should be no overlap in this case.  Please advise
    I'm trying this on the WRT160Nv2 with firmware 2.0.02, which I had just bought this weekend.

    kevj,
      Thanks for your suggestion.  I have now upgraded the firmware to 2.0.03 build 7.  But I am still seeing the error message
    As I mentioned previously, I'm trying to single port forward to multiple machines in the following way:
    Machine 1:   Forward 4000 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.11
    Machine 2:   Forward 4001 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.12
    Machine 3:   Forward 4002 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.14
    The error appears to be generated by the fact that 3389 is selected for multiple external port numbers, but the same internal port number.  The router I believe isn't taking into account that the similar internal port numbers aren't taking into account the different internal ip address I'm trying to send this to.
    This would be a standard sort of practice for running a live HTTP server on one machine, and a new beta HTTP server behind the router on a secondary machine on the same internal port, but different external port numbers for test purposes from the outside.
    Please advise
    Thank you.

  • [WRT310N] Single Port Forwarding - Cannot save settings

    Alright, I updated the firmware on my WRT310N (actually after contacting support asking if No-IP.com was added to the DDNS settings, and I was told that the new update would include it, which it didn't) to v1.0.07-LS-HND and now I cannot save any settings in the Single Port Forwarding settings.  I've tested with both Firefox 3.0.7 and IE7.
    Everytime I select "Save Settings," I get:
    Error: F.from0 is undefined Source File: http://192.168.0.1/SingleForward.asp Line: 137
    This is really annoying.  Luckily everything I have set I don't need to change...I just want to add.
     This is the function code:
    function chk_port_range(F)
        var i;
        var from, to, pro, ip;
        for(i=0; i<15; i++) {
            if ( eval( "F.enable"+i+".checked" ) == true ) {
                from = eval( "F.from"+i+".value" );
                to = eval( "F.to"+i+".value" );
                pro = eval( "F.pro"+i+".value" );
                ip = eval( "F.ip"+i+".value" );
                if ( chk_range_helper(from, to, pro, ip) == false ) {
                    alert ( errmsg.err74 );
                    eval( "F.enable"+i ).checked = false;
                    return false;
        return true;

    I have exactly the same problem
    Does Linksys/Cisco have plans on fixing this issue?
    cabozone, thank you for the workaround, but its true that the slots are not enough, crap !

  • Single port forwarding with a E2000.

    I was wanting to port forward a port that was 25565 for a game of mine, but everytime I try it won't work. someone give me a walk through?
    By the way, it's 7AM and I didn't sleep yet so i'll explain more detailed in the morning.
    I'm using a E2000 Router.

    Best thing would be to set a dhcp reservation for your pc/notebook and then set the port at the single port forwarding page to your int. IP.

  • Single Port Forwarding on WRT330N

    every time i change it from TCP to both and i save it it changes back to TCP how do i keep it on both?

    I had just done a clean reformat to the computer prior to getting the router so all i had was the windows firewall which was disabled. Oh and ill mention that i can select the Both option in port range forward, just not in single port forward. I thought it rather strange...

  • Single Port Forwarding on a WRV210 router

    I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to forward a single port to a different port to a specific computer for the WRV210 router?
    I would like to forward port 10100 to port 25 to my mail server.  There are times when our people are at a hotel and they block port 25 and I have done this in the past on a BEFSR11 and BEFSR41 router.  There does not seem to be a Single Port Forwarding setup page and the Port Forwarding setup page only allows you to forward a range to a specific computer, it does not give you a different port you can assign an incoming port to.
    I have the most current firmware revision, 2.0.0.11, and Hardware Version WRTR-221G_V01.
    I look forward to any replies.
    Fred.

    Will it ever be able to support this?  seems like a pretty reasonable request since this device is billed as a small business device.
    so far i have spent over 1000 dollars on cisco gear first 2 rvs4000 to do BO vpn
    then 2 wet200 thinking i would be able to create a bridge to my garage while wireless users could surf. little did i know that the wet200 could not be an AP.
    i then went looking for a cisco small business AP only.  could find one at any local retailer.  so i bought the wrv210 and removed my rvs4000  seems i just downgraded myself.  i should have just gone out and bought a $40 dlink AP.
    very disappointed.  hopefully you can share my experience with someone who can explain why a small business device wouldnt want to use port redirection.
    If you see a bunch of used cisco small business gear online thats me,

  • WRT1900AC single port forwarding

    I posted my base config and how the WRT1900AC has been performing for me below:
    Re: wrt1900ac wireless isn't working
    Also shows a RDP port forward that I use. I use a none standard port on the external side for security.

  • WRT310N Single Port Forwarding Space

    I've used the 10 spaces on my "Single Port Forwarding" section and I need more spaces available. How do I add them? I hope a $100 router can handle more than 10 spaces...

    I no about using range and will do that if I have to. Anyone using an xbox for a media center extender can understand my problem when they have 6 different port sittings. lol

  • Wrt160n is not accepting the ip address in the TO IP ADDRESS box in single port forwarding

    help am i doing some thing wrong here i have followed the instructions from pfconfig for opening a port for Bitcomet but when i try to enter my ip address  it allows me to enter the first 2 digits of the address and then says out of range.
    Bit comet says that i have a nat problem and also vuze.

    I think you are missing some steps, thats the reason you must be getting that error message.
    Click Here and follow the instructions and you might be able to enable Port Forwarding.

  • WRT350N unable to forward single port to VPN.

    I set up a PPTP (VPN) server on my network so that I could access stuff at home when I am not.  I went to the router to configure router to forward the port for VPN -- 1723 -- to the IP of the the server and got the following error:
    Port overlap occured!  Please change your entry!
    I am running firmware version 1.04.3 and have tried 1.03.7 without any luck.  I originally configured with a previous version of the firmware and have haven't had a need to change the configuration.  I tried to save the settings without any changes and got the same message.  The current port forwarding is:

    I dont' have any port overlaps.  I have changed everything and nothing works.  It was working perfectly under the original firmware.  This router is less than a year old. I have looked at other threads that are serveral months old without a new post and without a resolution.  I am going to need to change the web server as the machine that was running the web server is now dead and I CANNOT change the address.  I wish there was a way to go back to original firmware.   I even tried to reset the router to factor defaults and could not change the port forwarding.

    Yes, you are right you don't have any port overlaps...Well, you should check the subtabs "Port Range Forwarding" and "Port Range Triggering" and check if you have any port overlaps there...Also did you reset your router after the last firmware upgrade ? If not you must reset your router and re-configure it from scratch...
    Do not have anything under either one of those tabs until now because I need to get VPN established. That is under "Port Range Forwarding" and it is just a single port -- 1732 (VPN).
    Steps
    Backed up configuration to a file.
    Flashed with 1.03.7
    Power Cycled WRT350N

    Followed the same with the above steps.
    Got the same error.
    Pushed in the "Factory Defaults Button" for about 45 seconds.
    Now with Factory Defaults
    Configured for ISP.
    Tried to add in just a POP3 server with no other ports defined.
    Got the same error.
    Flashed with 1.04.3.
    Power Cycled
    Set back to factory defaults.
    Configured for ISP.
    Tried to add POP3 server with no other ports defined.
    Got the same error.
    Flashed with 1.03..
    Power Cycled
    Set back to factor defaults.
    Configured for ISP.
    Tried to add POP3 server with no other ports defined.
    Got the same error.
    Flashed back to 1.04.3.
    Restored back up. Old ports are still defined and still can not map new ones.
    I think that the firmware version that was on it when I bought it was 1.03.2 -- wish that I had never upgraded it.

  • I try to open a port(forwarding or triggering) but it doesn't work. wrt160Nv2

    I'm trying to get Utorrent up and going right and it says it's being blocked by my router or a firewall. My windows vista system has the firewall off,and I use avg antivirus that doesn't have one in it. I'll go into my router and I've tried port range forwarding,Single port forwarding, and port triggering as well as disabled and enabled UPNP to no avail.
    I've tried to get any port to be open, but I'll go check to see if it works using www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ or www.utorrent.com/testport.php?port="insert a port number here"
    but i havn't been able to make any open.
    any ideas or am i doing something stupid and missing it?
    thanks for any help

    Already done the firewall on my computer. It looks like theres another firewall built into my Embarq 660 modem thats doing it.

  • Rvs4000 ip port forwarding

    Hi,
    i have a little problem with the configuration of my rvs 4000 router;
    1 - I have purchased 8 static ip address with my adsl contract, from 213.136.137.234 to 213.136.137.241
    2 - wan settings of my rvs4000 are like below:
    Connection Type:
    Static IP
    Interface:
    Up
    IP Address:
    213.136.137.234
    Subnet Mask:
    255.255.255.248
    Default Gateway:
    213.136.137.233
    DNS1:
    62.94.0.41
    DNS2:
    62.94.0.42
    3 - now my problem; i have already configured several port fowarding using "single port forwarding" function of my router but with this metho i can only forward internet request arriving to 213.136.137.234. How can i do port forwarding for my other ip addresses?
    Thank you

    With this router, you will not be able to port forward to those public ip addresses.  This router does not support that function.  What you would need is one of our rv series routers, like the rv042, rv082, or the rv016.  With these devices you can do what is called one to one nat  and reference a public address to a private address behind the firewall.  The rvs4000 router does not have that function.

  • Linksys E1200 Router not saving Port Forwarding changes

    Hi!
    I am currently attempting to port forward on my Linksys E1200 Router and am not succeeding in saving my settings. I am attempting to open port 25565 though both Single Port Forwarding and Port Range Forwarding, and whenever I click the "save settings" button, I receive a full window message stating that my changes have been saved. Upon clicking this, I return to the previous screen whereupon my changes have been erased and my port has not been forwarded. Can anyone assist me with this? I've searched for hours through forums and tech help websites, but I can't find anyone else with this issue.
    Issue:
    Linksys E1200 Router not saving Port Forwarding changes.
    I have tried:
    -Restarting the Modem
    -Restarting the browser
    -Restarting the computer

    Hi there. You can try another browser or a different computer. If it is the same thing, upgrade the firmware of the router. You can refer to this link on how to http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=0a6881b90224439b92c8d8f19ca42e5d_21511.xml&pid=80&...
