Single View of Emails

Hello, does anyone knows how to have Mail display each email as a single email from the same sender or from the same date. It seems that some emails are displayed as a somewhat thread of emails sent to me on the same date despite been from different senders. Are there any tips?

You can turn off "conversation view" in Mail > View > uncheck Organize by Conversation.

Unable to move email or view some email in Mail w/ Google Apps

Using Apple's Mail application to access my Google Apps accounts via IMAP.
I'm having two problems:
1. I cannot view any email messages in any subfolder of my account when working within Mail. Everything shows fine when I log in directly through Google Apps/Gmail. Note that the "Rebuild" option under my Mailbox menu is disabled for whatever reason, so I can't try rebuilding Mail's index/database.
2. I am no longer able to move messages from my inbox to any of my subfolders. It's been this way for a couple days now.
Specifically, I get the following error...
The IMAP command “UID COPY” (to INBOX/1 - Scheduling) failed for the mailbox “INBOX” with server error: No folder INBOX/1 - Scheduling (Failure).
...which comes up when I try to move a message from the Inbox to the subfolder "1 - Scheduling".
Any thoughts or suggestions? Both of these things worked for a couple days after I first set this up last week.
So far, I'm too happy with my migration to Google Apps

For anyone who's curious, I was able to fix the problem by converting my old folder structure into single-layer labels. I guess Google still chokes on mail that is stored in multiple nested/hierarchical labels because it works fine now.
So NOT a good "solution", but at least it works in all email clients now.

HT5928 In iOS 6 I could sync my Exchange Drafts folder and view the emails. In iOS 7 - I cannot !!!

I cannot sync my Drafts folder from the Exchange to the iOS 7.
In iOS 6 I could sync my Exchange Drafts folder perfectly and I could at least view the emails (but without neeing able to edit them).
In iOS 7 - I cannot even sync the emails in my Exchange Drafts.
We are using Exhcange 2007 so this problem is common to many other users.
Pelase help with a solution. Thsi is definitely a crtical problem!

This is all about the experience and accessibility. I don't even mind if the new desing is beautiful or not, but if I find myself, like you, avoiding looking for my music, my experience becomes frustrating. I have about 35 albums of a single artist and I used to love going over them and choose the right thing for me, especially being on the road a lot, and now I have to think twice about even entering his name.
I really hope Apple will take those kind of things into consideration when they issue updates for ios 7, and maybe also give us back the goole search which was embeded into the spotlight search (which is really not that big of a request).

Also, when im viewing websites and i find something i wish to print, same again, if i simply click on the print option at the top right of the screen nothing happens... the only way I can print is if i copy the weblink of the site page then click on my HP eprint app and paste the web link, then select print, it prints off fine.. but its it such a pain to keep copying and pasting links or screen dumping emails just to print...

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. How can I view two emails at the same time

Is it possible to view two mail messages at the same time. We are testing iPads at work and this is the biggest problem

You cannot view 2 emails at the same time on an iPad. This is not a supported feature.

I am beginner in MVC and I would like to create a view which populates two (or more) joined tables in a single view table as described below.
I have two tables:
1 - Bloggers: - bloggerID (int);
                    - bloggerName (string)
2 - Blogs: - blogID (int);
bloggerID (int);
                - blogTitle (string);
                - blogImage (string)
A blogger can have one or more blogs while one blog must be related to only one blogger.
I would like to have a view table on my webpage as the following:
Blogger Name
Blog Title
Blog Image
Noris Gang
Virus
virus.jpg
Noris Gang
Desktops
desktop.jpg
Gauthier
Books
books.png
John Leon

I'm using MVC 4 (or at least 3).

From your description, it is not very clear that what you mean about the View, if it means the View concept in database as SQL Server, your required view should be as below:
Create view
as
Select Bloggers.bloggerName, Bloggers.blogTitle, Bloggers.blogImage
From Bloggers join Blogs on Bloggers.bloggerID = Blogs. bloggerID

Displaying views from different componets in a single view

HI gurus,
I want to assemble all the views in a single view by using layout
1. i have 2 DC's, DC1 has 3 components and each component has 4 views
2. DC2 has 5 Components each has some 6 views
My requirement is to display all these views in one view of DC1, depends on the condition
I displayed all DC1 views successfully by using plugs to interface views
but i want disable this entire viewcontainer and display other view container to display DC2 views at same place
I thought by doing this when user clicks on that view every time all the views will load, is it the bestprectice to work, if not please suggest me best solution

Dear Anusha,
Use the component interface > interface view to integrate other DC2 view in the DC1.
then use the Viewset or Viewcontainer to embed the DC2 view using interface view.
Search for the communication between dcs.

Multiple TableExtension/Tableview in a single view...

Hi,
       I'm facing a problem creating multiple TableExtension elements in a single view. The relationship between the business objects is like this.
Header--->Order(s)--
>Item(s)
As you can see, each header can have multiple orders and each order can have multiple items.
The number of orders is known only during runtime..
              In the last page of my bsp application, created using component workbench, I should allow the user to view/edit item list of all orders found under a particular header. That is to say, the view should contain multiple EditList tables for editing items.
           But, I have only one context node for Item and I'm able to show only one table at a time. One solution that works, but not usable in my case is to use navigation buttons to change the Order focus entity. When the focus changes, the Item table shows relevant child entities of that particular order. But, only single table in that view and so, useless.
         Classic BSP application is a big NO. The table should allow customizing viewable columns and have toolbar buttons. The Chtmlb:tableExtension is very suitable and convenient while working with BOL objects, but how to generate multiple tables that are independent of each other?
Please provide some pointers...

Hi,
      Got it. I used field symbol for specifying the table and looped the tableview tag the number of times I wanted. Each time, the tableview and configtable IDs are also generated uniquely, as I would need them later. Each time, the field symbol is assigned by a method implemented in the controller. This controller method, creates a internal table dynamically and populates it with relevant data fetched from my BOL collection. Ofcourse, I need to implement a separate iterator class for the ConfigTable and use appropriate events to make changes to my BOL collection. It's a little bit complicated, but not impossible.

How to create a single view like report ?

Hello,
basic task is to present a user with 2 versions of the record from the DB. User then will decide either to "approve" the newer version or disregard the changes.
I'm thinking of presenting these rows in a 2 single view report forms.
how do i create this type of report ?

Is it possible to have the "single view" (Einzelseite) as the default view in the preview.app?

The single view is the only setting I need and I find it cumbersome to dig inside menues for every single document. It would be great if there was an option or maybe a property that can be set.

And another comment: The save trick does not work for documents you cannot write. For instance I have a latex documentation on my machine and I cannot save these documents since they belong to root. So it would be great to make this configurable for the user.

View Outlook Email on my iPhone

Hi all,
I've recently purchased an iPhone, but I'm hesitant to open it until I find out if I can view emails from Outlook. At work our email system (like many) is MS Outlook and I want to view my email (with syncing them) on my iPhone. Can I do this through the web? And/or can I view Outlook email through the iPhone mail app?
My work currently uses (for web) Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access Provided by Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. Can I view email through safari using this setup? Does the iPhone use ActiveSync?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So, I can fire up safari on the iPhone and view email from Exchange Server 2003 - view/edit/send messages also (how about attachments)? I don't need 2007 to do this?

Reopened this question in another forum, since I am not talking about an iPhone but a MacBook Pro:
Using Mail, I have a very strange phanomenon: I can only open one email at a time. E.g. when writing a new email, I cannot open another email for reference. I need to close and save the new email as a draft before being able to open another one. Obviously, I am not reading two emails at a time, but I might be writing one and needing infos/text from another. It sounds stupid, but that's the way it is. :-/

I have been working on a book and have 418 photos already in my book. All of a sudden I cannot access the book format to see the multiple view, spread view, or single view. I can no longer see my book although I still see the collection with 418 photos

All of a sudden I cannot access the book module and clicking on the multiple view, spread view, or single view does not take me back to the book I have been working on. I can no longer see my book although I still see the collection with 418 photos under collections. What I do see is a blank template for a new book and I can't find the unfinished book I started with 418 photos. It is like the new empty template is somehow covering it up. How do I get back to the book I have been working on?

Is it possible you mistakenly clicked on a [Clear Layout] button?
But a great hint is- Always click on the [Create a Saved Book] button, early in your new book design.
Then you have a permanent link to the book in the Collections panel. (In addition to the standard collection of your selected images)
Note: a Book Collection shows an icon that looks like a book.
Every time you come back to edit the book, open the Book Module by clicking on the white arrow that appears on the end of your Book Collection title. (The title as saved)
Re-opening a book without using the "Saved Book" option can have unpredictable results.
A "Book" Collection is like a "Smart Collection" because anything you do to the book design, change pages, change images, etc, is automatically updated in the Saved Book collection.

i found the latter tree from many View Object ,but the former tree from single View Object.

Hi,
say the tree is built from ViewObject1. In the AM model, create a second View Object instance for this. Say ViewObject2. Create the form from ViewObject2 and the tree from ViewObject1. When creating the tree, use the"Target Data Source" option at the bottom to reference the iterator of ViewObject2. Then create a PartialTrigger on the paneFormLayout that holds the synch form. In the partial trigger property, reference the tree so that when the tree selection changes, the form is updated. Then create a PartialTrigger property on the tree and point it to the submit button of the form so you can show updated values in the tree.
