SIP trunk INCOMING/OUTGOING calling issue
Dears,
i am facing issue i.e inbound / outbound calls are not wokring after configuring SIP trunk . the call flow is
SERVICEPROVIDER--------sip trunk------VG --------------sip trunk ----------CUCM
For Outbound calls ---error-----tot tot tot
For Inbound Calls -----error--- Silence
Below are the configuration and debugs:

No voice during incoming outgoing calls
Hi, if anyone faced this issue before....there is no voice heard during incoming outgoing calls. However, we are able to talk on Skype or listen to music.
To me this sounds like the RTP stream problem - it probably does not pass the firewall / nat on the way between SIP provider and you.
What may have happenned is, that either on your Belkin router/NAT, or on internet ISP's router/NAT the SIP ALG (Application Layer Gateway) was enabled.
If this is the case, you need to disable SIP ALG on your router and/or ask your internet ISP to disable it on the firewall router.
Another issue may have been if you have (accidentaly) changed the port forwarding on your Belkin router, and/or the PAP2T local LAN IP address changed and the port forwarding no longer works.
So my proposals to check would be :
- check and DISABLE SIP ALG on your Belkin (if router has this feature)
- check the port forwarding on your Belkin router ... IF you setup port forwarding for 5060/61 you MUST set the same for RTP ports (16384-16483)
- if you don't have port forwarding on your Belkin, try to setup forward of 5060-5061 AND 16384-16483*.
*(If this is too many ports, set the the RTP portrange on PAP2T to 16384-16394 for example and then forward only that range)
- if neither of above helps, change your Line1 SIP port from 5060 to let's say 6070, and RTP ports to the range let's say 17300 - 17310
- last you may do on your side is to remove all port forwarding and put the PAP2T to the DMZ settings of your Belkin router. -
Incoming & Outgoing calls number must view during making call & receive call
Under one contact name I have 4 to 5 Numbers (Local & International).
During the incoming & outgoing calls I would like to know that which no I receive and vice versa under that contact name.Called ATT...they verified the problem and said it was an intermittent signal problem....
only issue is I have to keep the phone off to make sure I received voicemails....
Definitely NOT an iPhone problem, but an ATT problem. -

Over the last month, Skype has been giving me and others in my house issues.List of symptoms:Incoming/Outgoing calls do not ring. However, you recieve a missed call notification.Incoming/Outgoing calls ring but are immediately dropped.This has happened to me and others in my house when using a laptop with wifi and/or a PC with an ethernet connection. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have the most current version on Skype (in fact, installed an update last night). I do have comcast but figured it wasn't an Internet issue since I can access all web sites. This only seems to happen when using Skype. Anyone else having this issue? Know of a way to fix it? Thanks.

Hmmm. How is it that you're ending the call? If you're using the "End Call" option and pressing on the button, then it SHOULD stay on. I don't have the manual right here in front of me, but you could download it for yourself and see what it has to say about this. Here is the link for the pdf version.

DECT phone outgoing call issue
Has anyone had issues with DECT phone outgoing calls - My new BT Studio 3500 can receive calls ok, but dialling out returns "this number is not recognised" - using my old analogue phone and it suffers no such issues. Is there something up with my phone line - I have ADSL connected, this works fine with microfilter and analogue- even when I disconnect the ADSL line the DECT phone still has an outgoing call issue. I even replaced the DECT phone with a another model previous, but the issue still remains.
Im not contracted to BT but go via TalkTalk, and just want to find out if I am setting the DECT phone up incorrectly!So rather than try and troubleshoot your problem, or take the phone in to have it checked by Apple for a hardware fault, you're just going to wait for something to magically change... OK, then.

I wish to keep my incomming / outgoing calls switched off, while 3g / E should be enabled, I dont want to be disturbed with incomming calls while surfing, is there some way to do this in Iphone 4.?
No. The only thing you can do is reject the call when it comes in.

SIP trunk incoming and outgoing calls issue
Hi Everyone,
We recently installad a SIP trunk and terminated on CUBE and CUCM but we have issues on incoming and outgoing calls, When someone dial in from outside he keeps listening the dailing ring even after we pick up the phone and at the end the callers time exipres and call gets disconnected.
For Dailing out, the dialed number rings and caller hear the dailing ring as well but if someone pick the phone it apprears that call is connected but no audio in it, dead air.
Our call flow is as
IP Phones => CUCM --->SIPTRUNK--->CUBE=>SIPTRUNK=>SP
I have attached the config for CUBE and debug ccsip messages output for both incoming and outgoing calls.

The reason you are experiencing this is that your CUBE is requesting PRACK and your provider is not responding to it..
Here we have your cube sending 180 ringing with "Require 100rel"..This was sent several times and your ITSP didnt respond probably because they do not support 100rel...(It is Huwaei after all, they do what they like)

ISP---Sip---CUBE---Sip---CUCM---Sip---7821
I've got a problem with otgoing calls.
On sucessfull calls my CUBE sent to ISP Invite with SDP, then gets 100 trying, 183 progress sdp, 180 ringing and rtp after it. The call is ok. Hold, transfer, redirect works fine.
But sometimes (maybe 30-40% of outgoing calls) I sent Invite with SDP, then get 100 trying and after it my cube receives 403 forvidden from provider, cause code 57. Session breaks. What's the matter with it? Incoming calls are ok.
Also I disabled providers MOH on this cube by using no ip cef on it and using software mtp on sip trunk fom CUCM.If the provider is the one sending that to you then it would be best to get with them. The initial INVITEs and TRYINGs look good from what you can tell? Is there any dialplan differences between the phones? Is it the same phones causing this problem or is it random? These are things you need to look into.

SIP Trunk Question - Outbound Calls Fail

I am using a Cisco 2821 as a router that will convert a SIP trunk to an E1 PRI. Si my setup is:
SIp-Trunk > 2821 Router > E1 port on 3900> CUCM
Inbound calls are working fine, but outbound are failing. I am starting to think its due to transcoding issue on the SIP-GW maybe (there is nothing configured on it for XCODE etc).
I think my configuration is fine as I am able to recieve calls inbound. Just outbound fail.

909 is what I meant to dial as that is the help desk for the telco.
I tried mobile numbers as well getting the same error codes. And international numbers.
If it's based on the called number being wrong then I guess I will have to play with the calling party ID and call type as well... Maybe this is causing it to fail?? -

Abroad - All incoming & Outgoing Calls have Barred on HTC M9 - Need PIN to unbar
Hi. I landed in Corfu yesterday and I am on 4GEE Extra with HTC M9. Included in package is free international calls and texts. I was able to make and receive a call immediately on entering country... however after a few hours I found I could do neither. On looking at my settings I have noticed that although International Calls are Enabled, 'All Outgoing' & 'All Incoming' caals are disabled... and when trying to enable them it asks for a PIN. The obvious PINs do not work and I have never set one. I have checked over the internet and notive this has happened quite a lot. I have potentially narrowed it down to either the SIM needing reseting by EE or need a PIN2...? I cannot phone 150 so a bit stuck. Need these calls and texts to keep in touch with family so would be so grateful if someone could help please. Thank you (will come online later to check if their is a reply)

"no voice service" no incoming/outgoing calls
Recently purchased the Q10 & for the first day & half had no dramas.
After that time I then began to experenice problems calling out. The device stating a call failure please try again later. I was in full reception & was able to use the device & it's other features without any dramas at all, using facebook & twitter etc.
I originally thought it may have something to do with my service provider. After an exhausting & frustrating phone call with them they found no issue with my service but concided that they couldn't even call my phone.
I then updated the software on the phone to the newest update. The phone worked again perfectly for about an hour until again the problem recurred.
I am sure it is a software problem as I am writing & sending this while on my Q10 in the middle of Australia where at times data coverage is a premium.

What version of software do you currently have installed on your BlackBerry Q10? If you insert your SIM into another device, are you able to send and receive phone calls?

Incoming/Outgoing Call Problem
Earlier today, my friend's iPhone was working fine. Then he plugged it into the cassette deck with stereo 1/8" output into the cassette deck to listen to some tunes. Now, he can't hear or be heard when he makes a phone call. The calls still come through and he can make and receive calls, just not hear anything or be heard. When the volume is adjusted, the screen comes up and says Ringer and "headphones" in parenthesis. Can anyone help him to get back to a normal non headphone world?
If the cassette device you were using does not say that it can be used with the iPhone, it is not a good idea to use that device. This may be the problem that you stumbled upon. I also believe that using these "unapproved for Iphone" devices can void your warranty, so it is best to steer clear of using them. Specifically about your problem, I am sorry to say that I can not help
