To get full SIP configuration support I have to install this package from Nokia website SIP_VoIP_3_x_Settings_v2_0_en.sis
After that I was able to configure VoIP as I needed.

N95 Cant see or find installed application SIP_VoI...

Please can anyone help explain or help fix why I cant see this Nokia Voip Configurations Application ?!

It should be seen under Tools>Applications but nothing show up there or anywhere else !

There's no reason why it shouldn't work as long as you're using a SIP proxy or STUN (you're behind a NAT device on your operator's packet data connection). The only potential impediment is your operator not allowing you to use the packet data service for VoIP calls.
As for the phone no longer accepting inbound calls after a while, this is a problem that was solved in firmware V20, I believe. Which version is your phone running? (dial *#0000# to find out)

Invalid toip address

I have receive my E52 from repair.
It is now at level 031.012.
I have installed the package SIP_VoIP_3_x_Settings_v2_0_en.sis to be able to make and receive calls through voip.
Using that tool, the SIP profile and the VOIP service have been correctly created and now, everything about toip appears in the contact app.
Evrery thing is working at designed except I am not able to make any call using VOIP.
I always get the message: invalid toip address (translated from french: adresse toip non valide) sip code 484
I have tried many ways to code the dialed number, either with +CC (cc for country code) either the number alone or in international notation (beginning by 00)
With or without @domaine.name appended.
I have also tried to use the number gotten on a received call.
Nothing works!
(The sip is correctly registered and I received calls without any problem)
I have also tried many parameters in the voip service with no success.
Is it a bug?
Do I miss something in the voip service parameters?

Thank for the reply.
1) I dont have any other nokia viop capable device.
2) I did reset on the E52 yesterday
3) The .sis file I have installed is mandatory to get voip stuff in the contact app and to be able to create voip services.Without it, the only thing which can be done is creating a set of sip parameters in ctrl panel -> parameters -> connection.
Remember, my phone is comming back from nokia care last week. And the only thing which has not been replaced is... the back.

N86 8MP - Voip over WiFi

Can anyone tell me whether Voip is available for the N86?
I've looked at Skype and Truphone and they're only able to offer a 'lite' version that relies on a normal phonecall to a local number (i.e. only useful for reduced-rate international calls).
I contacted Truphone and they replied that "We are working very hard to bring more of our Nokia compatible devices to be able to use Wi-Fi, however there are no current plans at the moment."
Why is this service readily available for some Nokia models but not others?
Why do I have to spend my time trawling through Nokia support pages, discussions, blogs etc. to set up this and other functions such as connection to secure WLAN when it's so simple for i-phone and w-mo users?

It is not closed. I have a N86 8MP RM-484 with version SW 30.009 updated with updated version 30.009.207.03 and I have updated the plug-in according to the following link that was provided

and tried with the following versions:
- Symbian 3 SIP VoIP 3.1 Settings 86 kb = this version is not supported in your device.
- S60 5.x SIP VoIP 3.1 Settings 85 kb = this version is not supported in your device
- SIP VoIP 3.x Settings (164 kB) = The following sys file has been downloaded SIP_VoIP_3_x_Settings_v2_0_en.sis (168kb). I have installed it and gets the following applications installed on my device:
+ InternetAdvSettings Version 2.00(0) - Size 91 kB
+ SIPVoIPSettingsInstaller Version 1.00 (0) - Size 1KB
+ VoIPAudioSrv Version 2.02(0) - Size 28kB
I have reboot the phone and nothing changes. I have successful created my SIP account but I can not use it on VoIP menu on the agenda.
I do not see anything on Applications folder installed or Tools/Settings/Connection. I do not see anywhere on the phone the VoIP settings.

Nokia, VoIP and N86

Does the Nokia N86 have the Internet Tel App like the N95 does?
I'm still on my Nokia N95 because we use a VoIP system at work and i have my phone connected to it when in range, the Nokia N96 does not have it nokia thought it would be "funny" to take this feature out, i believe Nokia thought it would be really funny to take it out of the Nokia N97 too, will the Nokia N86 have this so i can make VoIP calls without having to install rubbish 3rd part applications?

You are just missing the actual VoIP configuration profile which must be created with the above mentioned SIP VoIP Settings plugin. Version of the plugin mentioned above should work basically on any 3rd Edt. FP2 phone other than N96 and N78 of course which don't seem to support VoIP at all.
After you have installed the SIP VoIP Settings plugin you will have a new "Advanced VoIP Settings" module visible on the phones "Net Settings" application. I'm not sure about the default menu structure of the N86 but typically Net Settings entry can be found either under Settings -> Connectivity or it could be located directly in the "Control Panel" menu. Look around and you will find it somewhere on the N86 menus.
Go to the Net Settings application and select Advanced VoIP Settings -> Create New Service. Either select your your existing SIP settings or define new SIP profile and you will have a new VoIP profile available to be used.
Starting with VoIP rel. 3.x (3rd Edt. FP2) phones there is no way to manually define VoIP settings on the phone UI without installing the VoIP Settings plugin and using the it via Net Settings.
Also a separate "Internet Telephony" application (where VoIP registration status was controlled previously) does not exist anymore but instead VoIP activation/deactivation has been integrated in to the "Contacts" application, after you have created the VoIP settings and profile as mentioned above.
Your VoIP service should show up as an new "Tab" (named as your VoIP settings profile) on the Contacts and from this Tab you can activate and later de-activate (Option -> deactivate service) the VoIP registration. Once VoIP registration has been successfully established you should be able to call "Internet Call" type of calls to your contacts similarly to earlier generation VoIP enabled phones (E66, E71, N95 etc.).

What is difference in FP1DEF.SIS and FP1.SIS theme...

Brand new to Nokia and S60 smartphones, and I just loaded down and activated my first THEME. However, the theme has two SIS files for Feature Pack 1, F1DEF.SIS and F1.SIS. I installed both, and the only difference I can tell is some of the icons are a little different. Other than that, the two themes look identical. And, the file sizes are quite different between the two.
The one with the DEF is about 156K and the one without the DEF is 670K. Why the big difference???

The fields in SIS tables are populated automatically when sales order/Shipping / Invoice Documents are created in transactions VA01/02, VL01/02 and . For details of updation rules please check transaction code MC26.

SIS- Updating- Open Orders value and quantity not updated after delivery

in the SIS transaction MCTA
when i create the sales order the values in the fields
incoming sales ,sales,credit memo,open orders ,open orders etc
are getting updated correctly
but after creating the delivery,pgi and billing these values are not getting updated .like the reduce in the open order,open oerder qty they same as earlier afer creating sales order.
if i cancel the order then the values are again updated accordingly
can you please suggest me a solution for this problem,why this is happening of not geting updated after doing delivery and pgi

Your query revolve's around LIS reporting. For any reporting, SAP recommended solution is SAP BI
FYI SAP is not going to continue Support for LIS Based reporting.Developement on LIS based reporting is already stopped.
Companies still use this tool to manage their reporting.
Not all the key figures are updated by default. In your case you will have to carry out the enhancement.

My sis and I share the same library for iTunes but when she tries to uncheck my songs and syncs hers, my songs are synced to her iPod still making her delete my songs. What can she do?

So my sis and I share the same iTunes library on the comp, and when ever she wants to sync her music, she unchecks all my songs. But once she unchecked my songs and syncs hers onto her iPod, my songs are there still. We've unchecked all my songs manually but my songs still sync onto her iPod. I want to know what to do because she ends up deleting my songs and when ever I wanna sync my songs, it takes me forever. PLEASE HELP ME GUYS!!

.sis is a symbian program, not a java file of any sorts. You can't get it to work on k750i or any sony ericsson phone.

But before trying to carry out the process as detailed in the above note, first check with other SIS reports like MCTA etc., and no reports are showing correctly, then you can proceed. Otherwise, you need to raise an OSS message with SAP.

SIS updation

Hi experts,
I am facing 2 error while updating the SIS.
1st Error-
I have made all the necessary configuration in OVRO, OVRA. Assigned all the statistics group to the Order type, item cat,dly type etc. But when i am running the standard analuses report of customer MCTA, the system is showing a warning msg "No data exists for chosen selection".
Even i have created some new documents and customers after doing the configuration.
My config is like:
1)Assign update group at item level(OVRP)--- BP01/01/01/1/1/1/1 and update group as 1
2)Assign update group at header level(OVR0)--- BP01/01/01/1/1 and update group as 1
2nd Error-
But when i am checking Check assignment of update group at item level(MCVCHECK03)- The system is showing no material in sales area BP01/01/01. Though I have created materials after config in this sales area.
Pls help me that why i am not getting any report after this.

Just check in your MMR->sales orgn2 tab wheather you have assigned material statistics grp or not . Even though you have done OVRP & OVRO
If you have assigned then maintain the data as you said and then do OLI7 , OLI8, OLI9 to retrieve the old data

It is not possible to maintain the updating procedure since DDIC structure S990, which belongs to info structure S990, is not active.
The info structure has probably been saved but not generated.

If so collect that in a request and transport it.

Yesterday, I plugged in my iPod to sync, and my computer opened iPhoto as it always does. It obviously recognized the device, but the iPod sis not appear in iTunes and I therefore could not sync it. Is there a setting I may have accidentally turned off?

Try reinstalling the AMDS > iTunes: How to remove and reinstall the Apple Mobile Device Service on Mac OS X

For sound issues check System Preferences > Sound
Make sure the Mute button is not selected.
