SIRI finds the correct number, makes the call and then immediately disconnects.

If I use Siri to make a call the system usually finds the correct number then makes the call and then immediately disconnects. This is really frustrating.
I have a 2010 Toyota Landcruiser Sahara with a Pioneer system with built-in bluetooth.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
BTW the phone works well with a hyundai i30.

That's interesting. Try saying "Call Mobile" instead of just "Mobile". If you're still having trouble, try hard booting your phone holding down Power + Home until the device reboots.

Problen with the format number on Phone Call and SMS

Hello everybody, I live in Peru and I bought and iPhone 3g. I have a problem with the sms. I saved a person in my address book. When I received a phone call I could see the person who calls me, but if this person sent me a SMS I couldn't see his/her name.
In my address book the format number of the person is: 01xxxxxxxxx
But when I received the sms the format number is: +511xxxxxxxxx
If I modify the format I could see the contact in the SMS but when he/she called me I couldn't see the contact on the phone.
Any suggest or idea?

Hello everybody, the solution of my question are in the new iphone software update. When I updated my iPhone with the firmware 2.1 the phone contacts and the sms contacts are the same.

What do you mean by try to restore, if you do this through iTunes you can't use the phone while you do it.

My 80gb IPOD classic will connect to and then immediately disconnect from the USB port in my BMW 528i. My wife's works fine in the same car. I can't se any difference.

This an IPOD I bouth used. Everything esle works fine. It syncs to my computer and plays my music but will not connect to the USB interface in my car. My wife's IPOD, which seems to be identical, works fine. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. Although I have my Caller ID set to show my Skype Number businesses tell me they're seeing area code 559 with a random/different last 4 digits each time. I just went through an account verification with a vendor and it was impossible to get them to verify - kept telling me I need to be calling from the number they have on file.
Come on Microsoft. There's no way to actually get support (for a paid product no less), let alone see anyone participating in support (hic) forums to resolve countless issues that others are reporting.

Hi, my iphone was stolen around a month ago. After the phone popped up on find my iphone in central london the police decided to be really helpful and instead going to get it they closed my case. Since then it has been offline because the "lovely" individual who stole it obviously reset it. I was just wondering why doesnt apple track phones through the IMEI number. The number stays the same, so if the phone connects to the network they should be able to know that its my stolen iphone. I just dont understand why they dont do that. They have a huge ecosystem, and if someone signs in to my iphone with their itunes account (which they pretty much have to in order to use most of the phones features) the IMEI number gets associated with that perticular account. Would it not be possible for them to realize that its my stolen phone?

Your carrier can lock the IMEI number, try contacting them. At least you'll have the satifsaction of knowing the theif can't use it anymore. My guess is Apple doesn't block IMEI numbers because they don't want someone selling a phone without record, and then reporting it stolen and causing problems that way. But that's just a guess, I feel for ya. Good luck either way, if it's a locked phone you should be able to call the carrier it's locked to and have the IMEI blocked.

Those are called Ringback Tones by AT&T. Other carriers may use a different name for them. If your carrier is AT&T, here is a link with FAQs about their Ringback Tones. If you carrier is not AT&T, then contact them to find out what is available.

Use NAST with the invoice to get the latest record for that output type..
use the table CMFP to get the IDOC number..The combination is
NAST-CMFPNR = CMFP-NR..
Then in the column CMFP-MSGV1 you can find the idoc number

My 12 year old son wanted a 4s so the I said to him you have to earn it. My poor baby worked everyday after school for one month around the house doing odd jobs. As promised after the month I said to him lets go buy one. He said he found one on gum tree. It was $650. So I rang this guy and he told me I could meet him on his break at worked at the shopping centre. So I went and met him. Thanks for the replies. I have checked the serial number of the 4s box. It's says sorry it's a replacement phone. His mobile number has been disconnected. I found out it was a Vodafone number. The girl at Vodafone told me it was a Vodafone number. I could only get the suburb of where he lived out of her. It's right next to the shop I met him at. I have checked the maps and there is only two roads that lead to the shop. So it's stakeout time. He had a blue Vespa scooter. I know it's only two hundred dollars but I will catch the little runt. Where are you and where did you get the phone. This sounds like a classic symptom of someone who bought an iPhone that originated in the U.S. which was then hacked so it would run on a carrier network other than AT&T... Then, when updating the phone, it becare re-locked to AT&T.
If that's what happened, you now own a paperweight. AT&T will NOT unlock them for any reason.
If this isn't the case, please clarify where you are, what carrier you have and where you got the phone so we can begin troubleshooting.
