Siri not connecting to a call

Hi , I'm having trouble trying to make Siri connecting to an out going call,
When I ask Siri to dail a contact , she goes into dail mode and just stays like that without connecting to the call(no error msg)

For those who do not know, a hidden SSID on a wireless network is a basic level of defense for your wireless network. Meaning if your network is not broadcasting it's name, saying I am here to anyone who has a wireless device, an unwanted intruder is unaware your network is there.
Most laptops and more advanced wireless devices have an option in the WiFi settings "to connect if hidden". These devices will go down the list of preferred networks in order, trying to connect to each preferred network before scanning for a different network. This setting is specifically for using a hidden SSID network. Currently the RAZR Maxx does not offer this setting, Which means that you have to have your SSID broadcasting for the cell phone to see it, then try to connect to it.
I was having the same problem, did a search on play for "connect to hidden network", first item in list was "WiFi Connection Manager", viewed and found decent amount of downloads and better than half positive ratings, downloaded and installed, app pulled in network info, set router back to hidden SSID, RAZR lost connection momentarily, then app took over and reconnected. Powered phone down, started phone back up, phone lost network. Went into manual settings, manually entered network, there was a check box identifying network as hidden SSID, selected that. Saved, and Droid connected to the network. Powered phone down. Restarted phone and phone logged into SSID hidden network. App does as needed.
Will keep you updated on the apps performance, but app appears to be working as expected.
I hope this helps users to understand and is an acceptable answer to this question.

I am trying to create an JCO connection with my Web Dynpro application to R/3 system. With WAS 6.40 i had no problems but with WAS 7.00 i am getting the following error:
JCO_ERROR_COMMUNICATION:JCO. Client not connected in repository call.
I think is has something to do with SLD on the WAS 7.00, but i don't know how to fix this.
Can anyone help me?

FaceTime will not connect, keep getting Call Failed

Since middle of last week have not been able to make calls with FaceTime keep getting message saying connecting, then get "Call Failed'

I had the same issue. FT worked fine on my iPhone, iPad, and one of our iMacs, but not our newest iMac.
After searching all over, I stumbled on the solution.
Here is the snip that worked for me...
Click the Finder icon in the Dock.
Choose Go to Folder from the Go menu.
Type: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Click Go.
In the Finder window, locate the file named "NetworkInterfaces.plist" and drag this file to the Trash.
Restart your computer.

Siri not connecting to network.

I cant get Siri to connect to a network so it wont respond. I am connected via 3G and can get internet access but no Siri. Any help?

Same issue here. This worked for me:
1) Turn Siri off.
2) Reset network settings.
3) Turn Siri back on

JCO.Client not connected in repository call

Hi,
I have developed an iview in VC. From the portal all users except one is frequently getting above error while displaying this Iview. At times on refreshing the page the error goes off and output is displayed correctly.
I have compared the Groups and Roles assigned to this user with other users. Everything is matching.
Can anyone suggest a solution for this problem.

IMac not connecting to websites ISP says Ethernet is fine

I shut down my iMac and went away for the weekend Returned Monday night and booted up
Browsers wouldn't load (Firefox, Safari) - just spinning circle for 10 mins then variations of "could not connect to server"
Called TWC service tonight: walked thru System Prefs> Network and Network Utility checks. Ran pings, sent signals to modem
All in working order
They declared my Ethernet is working connected and sending response pings to them - problem must be the machine, call apple, good luck
Everything in the articles, we already did. Any ideas before I pay for support? I even ran DiskUtility and reinstalled Mac OS Install disk

Assuming you have already removed the ethernet cable, reconnected same & restarted your comp afterwards, try the following suggestions:
#1 - Run Apple's hardware test from DVD #1 that originally came w/your computer to rule out hardware damage.
#2 - Make note of your current DNS numbers. Add the following numbers by going to:
(NOTE: The mapping may be slightly different in OS 10.6.7) System Preferences>Network>Show: Network Status>Configure>TCP/IP>DNS Servers:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
You can move those #s to the top of the list.
Restart your comp. If the problem is not solved, you can delete the above #s.
#3 - Trash the following plist files by going to Macintosh HD>Library>Preferences>SystemConfiguration

NetworkInterfaces
HOME>Library>Preferences
com.apple.finder.plist
Repair permissions and restart your computer. Plist files will be recreated. Post back the results.
#4 Last resort: Lug your iMac to your local AS or an AASP. Diagnostic testing is FREE!

Firefox is just plain not connecting

Since yesterday, I can not connect. I called Wildblue and they said you would be down for 24 hrs. It has been longer than that. What is going on???

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

GZ One Constantly Not Connecting to contacts

For the past few days my GZ One will not connect to any calls i attempt to make. I will dial number, but there is dead air on my side and on the side of my contact. I cannot hear them, and they cannot hear me. The clock call timer is still engaged and continues to count the minutes even though nothing can be said on either end. I DID A *228 OPTION 2, per customer service, but phone still will not connect to any number. There are no updates available, so, i have no idea where to go from here. My phone is only approximately only 1 month old. NOT happy with Casio/Verizon? Anybody elese having this problem?

Yikes! We need to get those calls flying out of your phone. Let's get to the bottom of this. Could you please place a battery pull of the device for 10 - 15 seconds. Are you able to engage in text messages and data services?

Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.
Unfortunately, the data on your phone is already gone if you're seeing the connect to iTunes logo.

Hands off calling from Macbook pro to iPhone 5 not connecting

I cannot get my iMac to make a phone call using hands off through my iPhone. It continues to tell me they are not connected to the same Wi-Fi, and they are. I got it to work one time the day before after doing a soft reset on my iPhone. What can I do to correct this? All other features are working.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

I've found two bugs in iOS 7. 1) declined calls does not appear as missed calls on the lock screen/notification centre. 2) when bluetooth is enabled from control center, it does not connect to an already paired bluetooth device

Please can you help. I have an iPhone 4 which up until a month ago was working fine. Now all of a sudden I can't make calls on it. The phone will ring both ends but will not connect to each other. The speaker button is highlighted with no sound.

I can't really remember what I wrote in the heading but I am desperate for help. I have basically got a very expensive iPod. Calls will connect so the call ticker will go round but there isno sound from either side. Also the speakerphone button will be constantly pressed but still no sound. I have restored it many times, sent it back to apple but they could find no fault. I have done everything but with no joy. I just want to make phone calls!!!
