Siri Not Working

My system are crashed and i tried to restore the firmware from 9A405 to 9A406, and after update, my Siri GONE just like that, even i try to reboot, hard reboot, close and open the Siri in general setting and in Restriction. Can anyone help me with this?
FYI, the iOS version is 5.0.1

Siri is builtin, what do you mean is gone.
Did you look in Settings > General > Siri > Siri switch ON?
and Settings > General > Restrictions > Siri?
If the settings is there, Siri is there. You just have to press the Home button a bit longer to start Siri.

Well to start your iPhone 4S does not have 4G... it just shows 4G at the top of the screen..
Try turning SIRI off and on.. if that does not work
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings..
Because SIRI is a network connection to a server nothing more.. it is not on your device so nothing is wrong with your phone..
Also SIRI is in BETA... and not 100%

IPad 3 to iOS 6. Siri not working

Upgraded iPad 3 to iOS 6. Wifi and LTE working. Siri not working. Siri hears me and types it back to me then says There is a problem, please try again. I have turned Siri off and re-signed in rebooted. Used external mic. Tried in middle of night so servers not busy.

Yes I seem to have the same problem but its not all the time, just some of the time. Yesterday I recieved the new Ipad and updated it, and siri was working fine, but I noticed a little later that the purple light it would just keep spinning, and eventually when it did show my command, nothing happened. Then a litle later it would work again, and now this morning it isnt working. I had wifi all the time so that isnt the problem. Ill probably just restore it, its already backed up.

Check Settings -> General -> Restrictions and see if perhaps Siri is turned off there.

Why does siri not work on my iPhone 4s?

Just purchased iphone 4S and Siri is not working. I have the most up to date software - 5.0.1 When I hold down the home button I get the voice control feature that's on previous versions. Any ideas?

It kind of sounds like Siri might not be activated. Go to Settings - General - Siri and confirm it's turned on. If it is, you might also make sure "raise to speak" is turned on, then go to your home screen and raise your phone to your ear. Does the Siri audible prompt sound?
If nothing else works, I'd do a current sync, then go to Settings - General - Reset and do a full reset. If that doesn't work, try a Restore. Siri not working in the UK

I've been using Siri and it works well for most questions, but if I ask it for something about a local business, for example, where is the nearest pizza restaurant, it always replies that Siri is not able to give information for businesses outside the US and also something about using only the UK voice.
It works very well for other sorts of questions.
Is anyone else in the UK having this problem?
Is there a solution?

To expand a bit on the previous reply, Siri only works for finding local business in the U.S. It does work for many things in the U.K., but not that.

Siri not working with configuration profile

I am a Systems Administrator and we are using the Apple Configuration Utility to put profiles on our phones. We have our Wireless network, pass code and Exchange setup in the profile and ALLOW Siri and Siri while locked as well as all applications, TV, Downloads, Facetime etc. per our HR policy.
The iPhone 5's will not work with Siri when locked or unlocked even though it is allowed in the profile. The iPhone 4s phones do not have this problem. The only way we have been able to get Siri working on the iPhone 5's is to remove the profile entirely.
Has anyone else seen this issue? If so, were you able to resolve.
The OS on all of our iPhones is 6.1.3 which to my knowledge is the latest and greatest. Any advice or thoughts are welcome.

So today I read on another post to close all the apps running in the background by double tapping the home button and deleting them. I did this and now Siri is working so it appears that one of the apps was intefering with Siri. Before that I tried disabling Siri and restarting and enabling again, changing the language to another English one, restarting the Network, every other tip I read except resetting all settings. This one closing all open apps working in the background was what did the trick.
I wish that there would be one central place where we could go and get the tips rather than to have to search through multiple postings. Something Apple could do to be proactive about helping us out. All in all I do love my iPhone 4s but that experience with Siri was unexpected. I should have read more before buying the iPhone 4s so at least I would have been prepared.

it turns out that I cannot fully use the features of my iPhone while
connected to a certified car audio system (Audi Ami).
env: iOS (10a403), iPhone 4S ,audi q5 , ami hw h07,sw 0350, Bluetooth Nokia bh-202
issue: iphone connected to car through cable, BT paired and working for phone answ.
action 1 (OK): press BT to wake up SIRI,it works.
now start listening music, for the very first time after connecting the phone .
action 2 (KO): press BT to wake up SIRI , music fades out, Siri pops up , BT 'bips' intending
              that audio is ready, suddendly Siri closes immediately after bip just like you press BT ,
              with no way to speech anything. The same action performed without being attached
              to AMI works as expected.
action 3 (work around) : while listening music and without Siri working as described in action #2,
            activate 'Podcast' app , select an existing podcast and play it.
            you will continue to see the previous song title still on AMI display but the sound is actually your podcast
            (first little bug). now press pause/mute on the radio and press BT to wake up Siri,
            it will works.
others: pausing/muting AMI , switching it completely off , switching off the car while playing music
           does not workaround the problem.
it seems that the behavior is different when 'Music' app is playing audio or when another application
('Podcast') is playing audio. For this reason I tend to blame Apple's software than Audi sw.
it seems that the issue is related to the fact that the phone try to use not the BT mic to
listening for commands but search (and fails) , for some other (car?) mics.
I'm available for further test with some kind of debug app to produce diag information .

In the meaning while I upgraded to 5S (IOS 7.0.4), this introduced the Lightning-to-Dock adapter .
I'm using the Apple's original adapter and things seems still working (I wonder) , I mean :
+) if you are listening music, it's enough that you pause it from AMI and kick in SIRI with BT/HeadPhones long click
If you do not use this WA, SIRI seems dumb , even if you use IPhone-s MIC/HeadPhones/BT .
I guess that the AMI is keeping control of the music app and redirects the MIC elsewhere (maybe
assuming that AMI have his own MIC) . I think that if this problem can be reproduced with another docking
station for IPhone that access the music library directly and take control of Audio/Mic
AMI can be definitively ruled out from this (BUG?) .
I would call it BUG because it expected that SIRI activation should override any MIC redirections and prefer MIC/HPhone/BT.

Siri not working Apple Watch

I set up my watch today and Siri would not open (with the crown or "hey Siri"). A quick search showed folks on MacRumors with the same problem, but they seemed to fix it with a hard reset, and/or unpairing. I Have done both of those things (actually the unpairing more than once because each time it would get hung up somewhere.
Any suggestions, or did I just get a crap copy? honestly, Siri seems amazing on the watch and for my purposes, the watch is nearly useless without.

Whether I say Hey Siri or Press and hold the crown... it just doesn't activate.
I tried a hard reset and it still didn't work.
Siri is on in the settings on my iphone and in the settings on my watch.

Siri not working with new iOS 8.1.1 update

Siri will not recognize my voice. The mic on my phone works because I can talk on the phone with others no problem. I can record my voice and play it back using the voice memos app. I cannot record my voice to send audio texts by holding the microphone in iMessage.
I tried everything. I turned Siri off, then on again. I shut the phone off and turned it back on. I restarted the phone by holding the home button and the side button. I restored my iPhone too, still no siri or voice detection. Does anyone have the solution to make Siri work and voice detection?

You should try resetting your settings. This won't erase any data, but will put many settings back to their default states, like passcode, wallpaper, Wi-Fi settings, etc. If Siri still does not work, I suggest that you make a trip to an Apple Store's Genius Bar. Hope this helps!

This is absolutley frustrating it took 3 hours to even activate my service and now the best feature the iPhone 4s has to offer does not work. Siri doesnt take any command I say or understand anything I say and I've spoken clearly and used different people to speak. I've used the same exact questions they use in the demos and siri just says "uh oh theres a problem can u try again?, or sorry I didnt get that...this is very frustrating... anybody else have this problem?? any help would be appreciated

My Siri is not working either it just keeps on saying UH OH there's a problem please try again. I thought about taking the phone into the AT&T store but this is really an Apple issue. Not sure what they can do for me at AT&T but I can't get through on the phone with Apple. And the online support is trying to get me to pay to get service. I just got the phone today. Doesn't it come with some kind of techincal support?

An update to the siri issue try changing the language at siri settings from english (united states), to english (canada) or any other language and it will work.
