Ciao a tutti ,
ho acquistato ad aprile 2012 un iphone 4s
Siri era gia' installato ma dopo l'aggiornamento di maggio è sparito , al momento sapendo che a settembre la apple avrebbe rilasciato Ios6 con Siri in italiano non ho dato peso alla sparizione pensando fosse normale.
Oggi con l'aggiornamento tanto atteso di IOS 6 di Siri neanche una piccola traccia !!!!!
Cosa devo fare aiutatemi SIRI è sparito dal mio telefono ( premetto che il telefono non ha mai subito modifiche ed è intonso come quando l'acquistai )

Title. I set an alarm, then shortly after asked her to set another alarm.
1) are both alarms in effect?
2) where can I see/cancel them? It says it can't modify or delete them.

Go to the Clock app and see if they are listed. I just set two via Siri on my iPad and both are listed. I can turn them off or deleted (via edit button) the alarms.

Siri cant figure out who my dad is

I just got an Iphone 5s for my first time. I was so proud of myself, I hit siri up and told her to "call dad"
Her response was: "who is your father?"
The problem with this is that my dad is in my phone as "dad," and when I told her dad, she just kept asking me the question. This also happened when I tried to call my mom. It works fine when I say people's names, but for some reason it wont accept the fact that dad is my dad.
Does anyone know why this is the case? I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with hoe my contacts were formatted on my old phone, but info would be great.

Because words like 'dad' and 'mom' are interpreted as relationships. It has to process relationships before moving on to names. Put their actual names in then tell Siri who your father and mother are.

Help! I no longer have any sound when I try to use siri!

A couple days ago, I went to use Siri and you know how it makes the sound when you start it? No sound. I had the sound up high and everything. I can still ask things, but I get no reply back. I tried turning siri off, rebooting my phone, but still nothing. I restored it to factory setttings, and there is still no sound when I use Siri. Help?

Sounds to me like you have an iPhone 4. Not a 4S. Where did you get the phone?

The new iPad comes with iOS 5.1.1.
To get all new functionality and Siri, you need to update to iOS 6.
Be aware that if you were a Google Maps App user this has been replaced by version 1.0 of Apple's own new Maps App.
From the many user reviews, Apple's Map App is still a work in progress.
You can still access Google Maps from the Safari web browser.
Also, the YouTube app has, also, made a disappearing act.
You can use mobile YouTube from Safari to still view YouTube or a YouTube client app called Jasmine or download the Google YouTube App for iPhone. Google is working on a new YouTube App for iPad and isn't available, as yet.

I want to pass along a couple of tips that will get you more and better response on this list.
1) There is an un-written rule that says more "stars" is better than just one star. Giving a one star rating will probably eliminate that responder from individuals that are willing to anser your question.
2) If someone gives you an answer that meets your needs, reply to that answer and say that it worked.
3) If someone suggests that you look at an example, DO IT! LV comes with a wonderful set of examples that demonstate almost all of the core functionality of LV. Familiarity with all of the LV examples will get you through about 80% of the Certified LabVIEW Developer exam.
4) If you have a question first search the examples for something tha
t may help you. If you can not find an example that is exactly what you want, find one that is close and post a question along the lines of "I want to do something similar to example X, how can I modify it to do Y".
5) Some of the greatest LabVIEW minds offer there services and advice for free on this exchange. If you treat them good, they can get you through almost every challenge that can be encountered in LV.
6) If English is not your native language, post your question in the language you favor. There is probably someone around that can help. "We're big, we're bad, we're international!"

Session Time Out For UNLOGGED IN USER During Search -pls help SIR!

The problem lies in searchresultscontroller.java/searchcontroller.java file under search/web/handler of an application that supports educational note sharing.
The problem is that -
When I search with query strings in different fields(as you will find in the above mentioned java files)..the keywords in resourcedto and get some files as search results.
Then I click on one of the file from within the search result and visit the file.
Here if I m logged in as an user, and the session time out is set to 1 minute in the web.xml file of the web folder not the admin folder then when I hit the BACK TO SEARCH button it easily goes back to the previous search result page along with the queries string that I had input previously.
The problem is that when I m NOT LOGGED in as an user, and I've performed a search with queries and other dropdowns in the search panel, I get the search result page, I visit the file by clicking on one of them but when I hit the BACK TO SEARCH button I don't see the previous search result page from where I had navigated to view the file.

IPhone 6 External Mic not working for Siri/Dictation

I am finding that the external mic on my iPhone 6 works for phone calls and voice memos, but does not work for Siri/Dictation. When I plug in the earbuds, they work for everything (including Siri/Dictation).
Was chatting to Apple support who had me reset all settings. I thought that worked, but realized that after a reset, Siri is off and I was talking to "Voice control" (which works). When I turned Siri back on, it does not work.
I have two questions for the community to see if you can help:
1- I have been assuming this must be a software problem since the mic does work for non-Siri access. But is that true? Is there a hardware component that Siri depends on which could be faulty here?
2- If it is software, what action should I try to address it? I have done a reset all settings already and that did not help.

I talked to Apple Genius at Apple Store last week, she said it should be a software issue and I needed to reset my iphone 6 plus as a new device and I can not use the backup restore from my iCloud, it was because the microphone bug or glitch can be in the backup also. Ok, followed her advice, erased all contents and set my iphone as a new device , the microphone worked for an hour, but went bad again. I used "voice memo" app from Apple to test the microphone. It is the best tool since it doesn't involve any provider's network and it doesn't need another person's phone to listen and test. If you can hear your voice recording clearly, then the mic works. I tested it 3-4 times a day for a few days now, half of the time the mic doesn't work. So, set as a new device isn't working. The issue is intermittent and it comes and goes as it likes, so very annoying. I carry my Apple EarPods with me in these past few days ust in case I need to make important phone calls. Will need to go back to Apple Genius this weekend for sure. Will give update after the weekend.

Iphone 6 (Verizon,64GB,space gray) microphone works for text dictation and Siri but stopped working for calls and voice memos.

My iphone 6 the micorphone has stoppped working unless I speak loudly right into it and its still not clear during calls and voice memos. But it works just fine for Siri and text dictation. I use the earbuds for work so not sure how long its been going on. Only change is I updated to iOS 8.1.3. Not sure if I should exchange my phone or if its a software glitch since the same mic seems to work for some things and not others. Any ideas would be apreciated.

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

Why is the mic not working working on speaker mode, even though siri and voice memos are working?

I bought my iphone 4s from canada about less than a month ago. It worked perfectly fine, until i recently discovered that the mic on speaker mode stopped working. That means, when i speak to someone on speaker during a call, they are unable to hear me.However Siri and voice memos are working fine. I could initially face-time but now i cant. I have also tried restoring my iphone a few times.
As i am based out of india, I contacted apple in India, they refused to touch the phone as it was purchased in Canada and the warranty is apparently applicable only in the country of purchase. I can in no way go back to canada to get the phone replaced. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can resolve this? Shouldnt apple be able to get this sorted since its a brand new phone under warranty?

Siri's new voice on iPhone 5s

Hi all,
Just picked up my iPhone 5s from my local Apple store and I noticed that after turning Siri on, she's still using her old voice, rather than her new, more human-like voice.
Has anyone else encountered this and if so, were you able to fix it? I'm running 7.0.2, however when I got the phone it was on 7.0 and was still doing this.

1) Siri is the same on all iOS devices.
2) Siri does transmit audio files via the internet. That is appearently what you carrier refers to as VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) since adding it fixed your issue.
Seems like another way for them to get you to pay more

My iPhone 5s Siri and voice txt not working

several weeks ago I notice that Siri wasnt working nor was my voice to txt. I attributed this to not updating my iOS because my cloud storage was full. The holidays were crazy, waited until I had time to transfer my pictures to my computer, so I could update it. It's now updated to iOS 8.2.1 and Siri is still not working. When I push the home button it won't wven make the ding sound it usually does. It will pop up the question "what may I help you with" but when I touch the microphone button nothing happens. When I talk on the phone others can hear me fine. I just got this phone right before thanksgivin!! What has happened to my microphone? I've tried turning the obvious on and off and still nothing works! Help!!

I can't find Siri on my iphone 5s when I hold the home button voice control comes up. When I go to settings Siri is not there. Has anyone else experienced this?

Check Settings>General>Restrictions and see if they are turned on and Siri is restricted.
