Siri Shows Up But Doesn't Respond

On my 4s, the Siri icon, etc., shows up but there is no voice and no response, it's as though she's gone deaf. Don't know what to do.

Here are a couple of things to try to address this issue:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

When I got in an email a link and I click on it, firefox openes the first time, but when I click on the next link I get the message that firefox is active but doesn't respond.

SAP Business One 8.8. Report doesn't show and workstation doesn't respond.

Hi all,
We have a customer with:
SAP Business One 8.8 (8.80.237) PL: 19 HOTFIX1.
Sql Server 2005
Crystal Reports 12.1.3.1028
We have done some reports wich run under server machine but not under workstation.
Even i've done a dummy report without any data connection and it doesn't run under workstation (server machine works perfectly). This dummy report only show a label with static text "Hola".
We don't receive any error message, SAP Business One client doesn't respond and in task manager you can see "not responding" message.
SAP support connected to our customer installation and they suggested us formatting workstations computers. We did it but the problem persists. Thank you very much for your help.

In this case, why you not responded to SAP for their suggestion of formatting the workstation?
If you unfortunately closed the old support ticket, then just raise a new support ticket with reference of the old one too.

Siri understands me but doesn't work?

I have a a slight British accent but I have lived in Canada for the past few years so I speak with a more Canadian accent. When I use the Siri it understands what I say. For example if I said 'What is the temperature', it will come up that I said 'What is the temperature' but then Siri will say 'Sorry there is something wrong'.
As if it recognizes what I say but doesn't understand? I've even tried speaking in an American accent! Does anyone else have this problem?

According to your signature, you don't have Siri. Siri is only available in iPhone 4S and IOS 5.0.1. You do have Voice Memos (Voice commands)

How do I edit a document that I've created but doesn't respond to normal edit effects

I cannot edit a document I created. It doesn't respond to usual method. Has it become pdf? the icon in documents has ring binder.

Wifi shows connected but doesn't work

My iPhone 4 shows that it is connected to my home network, but the wifi doesn't work. I know that the router is working because another computer on the network is working fine.

Try following:
Delete the WiFi network from your iPhone.
Disconnect the WiFi router from the power cord, let it be a few minutes, then reconnect.
Reset the iPhone by holding the Power button and the Home button at the same time, keep holding, ingnore everything on the screen, until you see the white Apple logo, then let go and let the iPhone restart. Set the WiFi t on and put in the password.
That should do it.

Drives mapped via GPO, NET USE shows mapping but doesn't show up in Explorer - Win 8.1

Fresh install of Windows Enterprise 8.1
Connected PC to domain, logged in, drive mapping worked as it should.
Rebooted a few times after installing software that I normally install on my computers (from the same sources/locally from my file server, etc). Rebooted a few more times all is well.
A few reboots later, the only drive that is mapped is X: which is my user drive done via the user profile in AD. The rest of the mappings that normally show up done by the GPO no longer show up.
After some digging, and noticing no errors in any logs I ran NET USE in a CMD prompt window, low and behold the drives are actually mapped and I can access them via the CLI without issue. I can navigate via their mapped drive letters, etc.
They just don't show up in Windows Explorer at all and I cannot navigate to the drive letters via the address bar. Strangely enough, it still kinda works since the Downloads start menu item is mapped to a network drive and that still works (Q:\) and
Chrome can access it as well if I try to download something.
I'm really not sure what else to check/try here.
Have other Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 machines (my laptop) and all works just fine, so it's only this specific install on my desktop that is showing this issue.

There are several reasons causing the issue:
First, The problematic client doesn't reconnect to the target share at logon.
Please follow the steps to re-configure the mapped driver on the client and then check if the issue will re-occur.
Steps:
a. Open "My Computer"
b. Click on "Tools" and then select "Map Network Driver"
c. input the \\ipaddressofserver\sharename to give the path of the share
d. Check "Reconnect at logon"
e. Drive gets mapped
f. Double click on the drive to check.
Second, Antivirus software or Windows Firewall may block the mapped share.
If there is any Antivirus software and the Windows Firewall is enabled on the problematic client. If so, please disable them to check if the issue can be resolved.
Third, Fast Logon Optimization is enabled on the clients.
The fast logon feature may affect the display and drive letter assignment of a mapped network drive. As a result, the drive may have been mapped; however, the user on client cannot see it in Windows Explorer. He may recognize it as a failed network drive
mapping. This is the reason why we usually suggest you to disable fast logon on the clients via a GPO, and please check if the mapped network drive will be occur under this circumstance.
Please also configure the following group policy setting to disable Fast Logon Optimization to see if the issue still exists on the problematic clients.
Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon\Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon
If we cannot get this issue fixed, please post back the event log related to this issue.

Final Cut Pro X Opens But Doesn't Respond

I am running FCPX 10.0.9 on OS X Mavericks (10.9). FCPX worked without issue on my computer and it was running Mavericks. Now, out of the blue, it will open but not respond. Once the loading screen goes away, nothing happens. FCPX is not responding and there is no light under the icon in the dock. I'm not sure why this is happening. Any help is appreciated.

I don't beleve I trashed my prefferences. I did just now realise when I went to move the project that FCPX hangs on, I realised it was on an externail hard drive that was completly full. I deleted around 40 GB of data on that drive and FCPX works.

My iPod shows up, but doesn't install correctly. Help?

2 days ago I could plug my iPod (5th Generation iPod video, 30gig) into my PC and it would work just fine. Now when I plug it in it won't work. So I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, now in the hardware monitor it shows up with a little yellow exclimation mark next to it and it won't show up in iTunes at all and it won't charge. When I plug it into my PowerBook I get the same result, won't show up in iTunes and won't charge. However, when I plug it into my clock radio's dock it charges no problem.
Any help? I just bought the Rocco DeLuca CD and I want to listen to it!

The yellow exclamation is a sign that your driver has gotten lost somehow. I would uninstall and then reinstall iTunes as it has all the software/drivers that's needed. Just my 2 cents, but if it were me, I would download a fresh/updated copy of iTunes from Apples site.

Online bill should show names but doesn't

I have around 70 phone numbers in my BT Bill Address Book, but when I look at my phone bill's calls online they only ever show the phone number and won't allow me to re-enter the person's name instead, despite them appearing in my address book listing. It just asks me to LOG IN and the next page says we are experiencing problems with this section of the site. It has been going on for three months and is frustrating as all the information is already in my Address Book database. Anyone else having this problem?

Number of messages shows up but doesn't come through

please help! on the left side where the inbox, send, trash, etc is it will show how many unread messages and also at the dock the same. but when i try to get the message it won't scroll down any further and let me see the messages.
i have to close out of mail completely and re-open to get them. what is up with this?

hi ernie, i only have one email account. when i log in, the wheel will turn and then i will see the # pop up beside my inbox and in the dock. but then i have to close out completely of mail and then re-open and log in again and then the new emails will come though in the display window.
any idea?

Siri hears me, but doesn't listen

new iPhone 4s and Siri screws everything up that i say. i have even tried slow talking, but still nothing.
90% of the time she starts calling someone. appointments don't work, temperature questions generally give the time or call someone.
play music works.
looking for help before i throw her into a river.

Gvfs-mtp shows device, but doesn't mount it

I've installed gvfs and gvfs-mtp and when I connect my Nokia Lumia 625 to the computer pcmanfm shows the device in the Devices section, but when I try to mount it it says "Unable to open MTP device '[usb:003,011]'".
Any ideas?

Same phone and errormessage here, also using gvfs-mtp (works with Thunar which I use). Fixed it with the following:
- plugged the phone in and got the vendor-id and product-id of the phone using:
[root@arch-macbookpro]$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 0421:0661 Nokia Mobile Phones Lumia 920
- created an udev rule with the following contents using the id's mentioned above (I found this somewhere on the internet, haven't checked if all parts are necessary):
ATTR{idVendor}=="0421", ATTR{idProduct}=="0661", SYMLINK+="libmtp", MODE="660", ENV{ID_MTP_DEVICE}="1"
- reloaded the udev rule with
# udevadm control --reload
After rebooting the phone while connected to the usb port, and entering the passcode on the phone, I could open it in Thunar. Since pcmanfm uses gvfs as well I suspect it would work for you too.

Msi K8T Neo-FIS2R built in 1394 shows up but doesn't work?

I have a msi K8T Neo-FIS2R, and the built in 1394 does not work. It shows up in windows but doesnt work when plugged in.
I have tried disabling and reenabling in the bios, and disabling almost all other things to eliminate an IRQ problem to no avail.
I have an audigy 2 ZS also which has a firewire port, which is working, but I'd like to have access to the mainboard's ports as well.
any suggestions?

What bios version are you on?The latest on the site was supposed to fix this problem-the 1.6-but dunno if it did or not,flash it to latest then have a look.

Playlist quickly shows titles but doesn't play them

I have a playlist, but when clicking on it, mini runs through titles quickly,and then goes back to menu. It never plays any of the songs. When I select a particular song, it will show the titles of 3 or 4, and then begin playing, so it has skipped the one I selected. Mini only seems to work properly on shuffle.

I have found a similar issue if the iPod has not been connected to iTunes for a while.
Try connecting to iTunes to refresh/update the iPod and then the tracks should display as usual.
