Siri too quiet. I'm having issues with Siri.

The majority of the time it is working perfectly well. Sometimes understanding me and sometimes not - which is fine as it develops and I get more used to it. But every once in a while the Siri response is whispered. You can barely hear the reply unless you have your ear right to the handset. I'm not blocking the speaker as it does this even with the phone on the flat of my hand.
Any suggestions folks?

No solution. Still having the same trouble. I called into the Apple Store in London and they asked me to wait for 10 minutes to speak to someone who would give me an appointment for the next day! I didn't bother.
To be fair it is happening less but the problem is stil very much there.

I don't think there is anything exotic about the 3G's bluetooth system so that the BMW shouldn't see the contact list. It saw the contact list in my first generation phone, so I'm still puzzled why it doesn't see the contacts in the 3G. I have a query in with BMW to find out why it wouldn't see the list when the first generation phone worked fine. Perhaps there is some setting in the iDrive I'm missing. It's my wife's car so I don't see it often enough to spend the time to dig deeper.

I don't understand why Siri won't work as seamless for me as instructed or as reported by other users. I simply want to send text messages using Siri and it never seems to work. I usually say something like, "Tell_____, I am on my way. 98% of the time it thinks I am saying, call so & so. It rarely ever works the 1st time. The only way I can get it to work is if I say Send Message, than once Siri goes thru what she has to say, I have to answer to who, than confirm I want to send. This whole process takes like 45 seconds instead of taking 15. Everyone makes this seem so easy to use but I can't get it to work as advertised. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have any tips?

If I hear Siri say "sorry, I am having trouble connecting to the network" one more time it's going on Craigslist, and I'm going back to Android. Siri seems to be best for the Apple Marketing Dept. In my business we go from Beta to Pilot, to GR. How does Apple give it to the masses and call it Beta. Are they so self confident that they can take the hit?
I often ask it to call xxxx, and it just times out. The other issue is that when it does work, if it works, the lag time from command to execution makes it not functional. If one of the goals is to make it safer for me while I travel, Apple has made it worse since I ultimately have to pick up the phone and dial manually. I did get a surprise answer the other day when I asked Siri a math question from my 11yr old's math homework.
1 out of 50 times it works. So far I have to give Apple a 10+ for Marketing, and a 1 for execution.
Don't even get me started on ICloud set up and support help.

I've tried text 'person', email 'person', set alarm and no matter what I say it tries to play a song no where close to what I'm saying, or calling or facetiming with someone else. I speak clearly but it's not getting what I'm asking. A friend said she's had no issue with hers.

Siri worked fine prior to updating to iOS5. It worked on both the iPad II and iPhone 4. Now I get a message there is a problem reciving response from the server.

The version of Siri that used to be available in the App Store, which is what you had on your iPhone 4 has been discontinued. It has been removed from the Store and there is no more server support for it. As you've discovered, it no longer works. Sorry.

My trouble started when I was trying to update my IPad but it was taking too long (internet was scetchy) so I powered off...now Im having problems. I haven't tried to update again since this problem. Any suggestions? Should I restore? Should I update to 7.0.6? (currently 7.0.3).

Anyone else having issues with iMac built-in microphone?

My mom's brand new 24" iMac (running the latest version of Leopard) keeps having issues with the built-in microphone going dead. It can be resurrected with a restart and PRAM reset (command-option-P-R), but it is kind of annoying to have to do this every time she wants to Skype or iChat. Any ideas what might be causing this? She runs a fairly clean system with few peripherals or third-party software (except occasionally an external FW drive for backups, a Blu-Ray burner [not connected at the same time], and Toast). Even on restart with nothing else running, she can go into the System Preferences/Sound/Input and try testing the microphone and it is DOA. We did go through all of the prefs in Skype and they are all set right, she does try the Sound Test call in Skype to see if her audio is working and that is usually the indication that something is not right. Her broadband connection varies too much to have iChat work reliably if at all. She will be installing Snow Leopard soon, and I read that iChat only requires 300kbps bandwidth as opposed to 900kbps under Leopard so there is a possibility that there will be an alternative to Skype in the near future.
All her updates are installed. Repairing permissions was done less than a month ago, but it is worth a try again. Also will have her fire up Activity Monitor to see if there is anything else taxing the CPU. I am 2000 miles away so it is sometimes hard to maintain this machine properly from a distance.
Thanks for your input in trying to solve this mystery. BTW what do you think of using an external dedicated microphone? Kind of defeats the purpose/beauty of having it built-in with the iMac...

CS3 is too old to run on a new Macintosh laptop, sorry. You'll have to purchase CS6 or a Creative Cloud subscription.

I too am experiencing this on my iPhone 4 after upgrading to 4.3.3. I am fairly convinced that it is a software issue. The last update seems jumpy. There appear to be more pauses and stuttering with screen changes too. Sometime the button operates perfectely (even with repeated light touches). Other times, it doesn't matter how hard I press; it takes several presses. I notice it more when i am using a battery case or connected to an AT&T MicroCell. I am having a hard time pinpointing problematic apps, although i suspect that mail with my work Exchange account may be a culprit. I suggest posting your issues on Apple's iPhone feedback page, www.apple.com/feedback/iPhone.html, to ensure that they are looking into this problem. If it is a hardware issue, I'll be pretty upset as I received my iPhone 4 on day 1 of availability and it is out of warranty. Hoping for a fix with an update. Please post on the feedback page.

Having issues with gnome keyring

So ever since I did a system update (-Syu) I have been having issues with my gnome keyring.
Before I would use GDM and when I would go to type in my password the first time it would 'hang' and not respond, I would have to hit cancel and re-type in my password. If I would close my laptop lid and open it again, every time I would type in my password jt would just sit there and not respond and then I would have to reboot and go through the process again, first time doesn't work, second time it logs in, can't close laptop lid.
So I go tired of dealing with that and got rid of GDM and just made a bash script to load X on login from tty1. This works great, just one minor annoyance. Once I log in I get this window http://imgur.com/Slj1V1d except when I try to type in the password, no matter how many tires I take, it still just hangs and sits there. I can hit cancel and go about my merry way, but its always on the back of my mind and its pretty irking. Something that I know is broken that I have to deal with everytime I use my computer can be bothersome.
Would anyone know how I could either remove (from what I heard this wouldn't be good because gnome relies on the keyring for programs) the keyring, or delete the data with the keyring so that I could get a fresh start. I've tried seahorse, but it does the same thing as i've stated above.

Even though I got my baby all patched up and working, I still have that damn pesky keyring issue with GDM. So even deleting every thing in that directory, and re-installing the packages, it didn't fix the issue

Having issues with loading pages with large web articles..

I'm having issues with pages loading all the way when I read articles off of wikipedia. Mainly from pages that have tons and tons of text, but it doesn't make sense. The browser indicates that the page is loaded all the way, but when I make it half way down the page, everything becomes completely white. Like LITERALLY everything becomes white. This prevents me from reading any further down the page, even though I would force the page to scroll down all the way, that doesn't help one bit.
Does anyone have a solution or a fix to this? I would like to continue reading my web articles, without being interrupted with these white pages/bugs.

Try clearing the cache for the web browser. While the browser is open, go up to Web/Preferences and choose "Clear cache".
Also try rebooting the TouchPad via Device Info/Reset Options/Restart.

I am having issues with tech support for King Games!   Why can't they support their game?

I have been having issues with Bubble Witch saga for over a week! Mather continue to give me the run around. Finally today, they have admitted that they are too busy with their other games to offer support! They ask me to continue to be patient ! Lol. Please, see below.     What is one to do when these app companies are not able to support their apps? Does Apple think this is good?

Thanks! I just think that Apple would have concern with App companies who are being offered through Apple! This may seem as though it isn't Apples issue but, in truth it is, to the extent that it looks bad on Apple. Apple, should expect companies that use their App Store to provide support for their product or not allow these companies to have apps in the Apple store! Believe it or not..... This is a reflection!
But, don't worry, I am trying to get them to support the game. At the very least my review will not be good and eventually I will stop playing as others have done!!!

Your iBookG4 is still a pretty awesome Mac. Like already said, it has the power to run Leopard, but it depends if you have an internal DVD drive.
Then I suppose you have to add up the cost of the OS, perhaps another 512MB RAM, iLife 08 and replacements for any favourite apps that you currently use (Leopard breaks a lot of stuff, but Intel breaks even more). Compare it to the cost of a new MacBook, which wil have all of that included and be 3-4x faster too.
It also depends on what you want to achieve with your iBook. My PMG4 still cuts it today, I still use it in preference to my new Mac Pro, It's about the same age as your iBook, and I'll only stop using it when it becomes "painfully" slow. My 1 year old son currently uses the Mac Pro (parts for a Mac Pro are easier to replace than those for a PMG4).
I think your choice is simple, if you can a cheap copy of Tiger, use that, it'll get your iPod Touch up and running. It came in DVD and 4 CD version (by request).
Leopard will work for you too but a lot of the best eye-candy requires quite a meaty graphics card and you may need a RAM upgrade and replacement software - OS9 Classic is not supported in Leopard.

I am having issues with the WiFi connection to my AT&T router and voice recognition.
It wont make post to Facebook half of the time. It is lacking the option to post videos to Facebook, only to mail, message, and You Tube. And finally the voice recognition messes up what it types in both Siri and messages.

Not having any of those.

Siri too quiet. I'm having issues with Siri.
