Does anyone know if you can tell if a particular file has been worked in even if you didn't save it. For example, if you go look at a file in the finder (on a mac) and look at get info, does "modified" mean it was changed and saved or could it just be changed but then unsaved?

TS2972 I am using Apple TV to wirelessly access photos from a folder on my desktop computer, but when I view them on my TV, some of the photos are upside down and sideways, even though I have flipped, cropped them, and saved them on my desktop. Help!

But they sometimes show up sideways or uspided down when viewing them on my tv, even thogh I have flipped and saved them in my desktop folder. How can I view them in the same format as I have them saved in my computer?

If you have Adobe Acrobat (not Adobe Reader) the program can perform an OCR on the document you acquired.
In the past I used ABBYY FineReader

Messages and saving them...

Hi all who could possibly help me...
Basically I need to restore my iphone. If I do so will I lose my messages?? I have some that are mainly sentimental value so I do not want to lose them. If I do restore my iphone and lose them is there any way of getting them back? Any suggestions from pro iphone users before I push the button??!

P.s I have backed up all my music, photos, videos, apps, etc so its JUST the messages that I am concerned with.. ooh and maybe my contacts in my phone book

Depends on what you mean by "restore your phone". If you create a current backup, then restore from that backup, the SMS's on your phone will be restored to your phone(SMS's are included in the iPhone backup). If you restore as a "new" device, they will be erased from your phone. You can extract SMS's from your phone & save them on your computer, using third-party software. However, there is no way to put them back on your phone:

I recently purchased some scripts and saved them as actions but wont work with assigned function key

i could use some help ....i recently purchased some scripts to help automate things i do with scrapbooking.... i am using cs4 and have vista...i have made actions to make it easy to use the scripts.... i have assigned function keys to make it easy to use the actions... but it doesnt seem to work with the function keys...i can run the actions by pressing that arrow/button on the bottom of the action palette but when i hit the f key nothing happens..when i first got the scripts it did work.... but now it doesnt....i deleted the actions and made them again but still dont work with f keys...what could be the problem and what do you suggest i do...others who have purchased these same actions seem to be able to use them with the f keys.... thanks for any thoughts and suggestions

think i may have solved it myself and passing this dum thing along....on my keyboard is flock...i mustve hit it and the keys were locked...so i hit it and now they work.... oh dear.

Where are my photos in Lightroom after I have edited and saved them in Photoshop?

I'm using LR and Photoshop CC. When I export a photo from LR to edit in Photoshop and then save it in PS and close the file why doesn't the saved file appear next to the original file? I know it's in Lightroom somewhere, but I always have to close LR and reopen it before the edited file will show up in Lightroom next to the original file with the same keyword. What determines where the file will be located within the list of files with a particular keyword. It seems to depend on which external editor I use. Sometimes the edited file is not shown with the original until I close and re-open Lightroom, sometimes it will be at the end of the list of files with that keyword and for some external editors it will immediately show up next to the original file.

Anyone looking? Or has everyone given up on solving this problem. Apparently, most don't have this problem but no one knows how to solve or why it happens. Others have had this or very similar problems and no one has found an answer. Adobe just ignores my queries about this as is normal for them.
When I select photos in LR and Export to Photomatix Pro to create an HDR photo the saved result appears immediately next to the original files in LR. When I select the photos in LR and go to Photo > Edit in >Merge to HDR PRO in Photoshop the resulting photo does not appear next to the original files even though LR says they are in the catalog. After I close and reopen LR they will be there next to the original files. Photoshop is the only editor where I have this problem. When I use any other editors such as those by OnOne, Topaz, Photomatix Pro, process a file and save the new files shows up immediately in LR right next to the original file. When I process a file in Photoshop and Save it I notice the filmstrip in LR jumps but the saved file from PS doesn't show itself until after I close and reopen LR.

TortoiseSVN committed files that weren't changed and corrupted them

A colleague used my working copy to perform some changes. He then committed everything. Even though he did not change the classes in a subfolder, TSVN committed them as well. All the classes are now corrupt - the Class VIs do not recognize the class (attached). This is for every class in the project.
To make sure nothing was in fact changed I used lvdiff and the TSVN log, and no differences are shown and both versions show a broken arrow (even though the previous version worked fine).
If I try to go back to the previous revision in the working copy, it doesn't work (still a broken arrow). Only if I take a completely new folder and checkout the older revision do I get my classes back. However, the updates my colleaugue did are important.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this, what I can do about it and how I can prevent this happening again?

Mail program takes forever writing changes and saving index

Over the past couple of weeks, my G3 PowerBook (recently loaded with OSX), when I go to the Mail program, has taken to spending up to a minute at a time Writing Changes to Disk and then Saving Index. Tonight it did it every time I sent a message or accessed a message. It's now impossibly slow, and I can't find any way to stop it doing this every few minutes or with every message. How do I make it stop, or do this less frequently - say, once a day? I only have 400 messages in my Inbox, so I don't think it's overloaded.

Select the mailbox you're are having problems with - you can find the Rebuild option under "Mailbox" from the menu at the top of the screen.

Work flow Document changed and saved by persons sequentially

I am novive in Portal Development and i have to implement a workflow solution that consist in a change of the document sequentially.
I would like that when someone finished that part of work a message will be sended to the next.
Is this possible? How can i do that?

Please verify from the event log (txn SWEL, use txn SWELS to activate event log) that the FIPP.Created event is being published when you park a document. If not, you need to perform some IMG activity. Please see OSS Note 548278.

I can only access saved photos in PSE, they are on my hard drive but I can't have them printed and can only look at them in PSE! Why can't I do anything with the photos after I worked them up and saved them?

For Win:
After downloading a ".zip" file, use the operating system or a utility such as WinZip or PKZIP to access the file's contents.
Double-click the "AdobePatchInstaller" application and follow the on screen instructions.
For Mac:
After downloading "dmg" file, Double click on the file to mount it..
Double-click the "AdobePatchInstaller" application and follow the on screen instructions.

Retrieving B2B attachments and saving them to a UCM server

I have a requirement in which a BPEL receives a B2B message with attachments and saves the attachments in a UCM server.
How can it be done in a BPEL? My BPEL receives a B2B message with attachmetns, the attachment element looks like

Using the output of the transactions and saving them in a file using a prog

Over the while i had been working on something which involves sending system data of some of the SAP BASIS transactions(ex SM21, ST02). I am wondering if there is any way using ABAP programming that calls the desired transaction(within the program), get's the output(as displayed if it had been run independtly) in any file types. As there are complex BASIS level details i am looking for the approach utilizing the already existing SAP outputs for the transactions.
Please help here.
