Site Collections shows a blank page and sometimes doesnt show anything
We are having this issue, it happens sometimes and sometimes not.
With the site collection, it shows sometimes that the page cannot be found and a subsite sometimes shows a blank page instead of the site. I saw this article that describes the issue and it is regarding the authentication method, what else can be?

According to your description, my understanding is that your site collection sometimes got a blank page and sometimes didn't.
Whether you have configured AAM (Alternate Access Mappings) for your web application. If yes, please check your process. You can refer to the link:

In addition, please check the log to find whether there are some messages about this issue. The path of the log file is: C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15.

I am the Windows admin for a university department and install PCs with Firefox all the time. This problem does not happen with every PC I maintain, only a select few (different model laptops with Windows 8.1 and update 1.) Until today, it only happened with new user accounts (with admin rights) that I setup on the laptops for our staff. Today this happened with The Administrator account while setting up a new laptop. In all cases so far, I install Windows from a saved image that was created using sysprep.
I have tried the many suggestions of resetting Firefox, deleting the users Firefox profile, deleting the users Windows profile, uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox and the latest Java, but nothing helps. After uninstalling, I run an app to delete temp files and caches and will even manually remove registry keys HKLM\SOFTWARE\Mozilla and HKCU\SOFTWARE\Mozilla. Plus I reboot and make sure the install folder is deleted after uninstall.
Results are the same: after installing Firefox 31, the initial setup window for migrating IE and/or Chrome pops up and after clicking the Finish button, Firefox starts, but does not show the initial new user page, only a blank page. Clicking on the Options button (3 bars) does nothing. Right-clicking in the proper area, the popup menu appears so I can choose to Customize, but that only opens another tab with about:customize in the URL and the page is blank. From the right-click popup menu, I can enable the Menu Bar and get to Options from that.
My latest attempt has helped a little. I uninstalled Firefox 31, cleaned up, deleted user Firefox profile, rebooted and then installed Firefox 30. Inital startup runs, and tells me I'm not up to date, and the Options button works. But I still cannot customize.
I then upgraded to Firefox 31, but then it's back to no startup page, no options button and no customize. I can downgrade to 30 and get all but customize working again.
Only Addon is one for McAfee Scriptscan for Firefox 15.1.0, which just after installing is disabled.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.Ok. I disabled hardware acceleration. The only extension is the McAfee Scriptscan for Firefox 15.1.0, which was already disabled. I then disabled all plugins (Acrobat, Google Update, Intel Identity Protection (2x), Java Deployment Toolkit, Java Platform, MS Office 2013, Quicktime, Shockwave, Silverlight), which were all up to date.
Normal or safe mode still has same result. No startup, no option button and no customize.

HELP! ADE doc showing some blank pages and blocking ADE software on my PC
I bought a ADE doc and put it in my Nook. The file shows blank pages between page 16 and 116, all other pages seem to be displaying correctly but I'm missing half of my book. Furthermore, when I try to open the file in my PC, the ADE progamm gets stuck trying to open it and then stops working after a couple of minutes. I am currently unable to open any ADE doc in my PC and have a partial file on my Nook.

I need to check multiple websites everyday for responsive design. When I open Responsive design mode I am getting full pages on every site, even ones I know are mobile opt. No matter how I scale it everything remains exactly as it is. I have to scale it to the far right to get the whole page. Basically the pages are always in full screen and I'm getting a window that only allows me to see part of a page. It is very frustrating.

I am not a coder so please keep solutions simple.From your screenshot, it seems to be working, as that grey bar has appeared at the top (with a link to the mobile version of the site). This only appears when the viewport width is 800px or less. This support website doesn't shrink dynamically (as the viewport gets smaller), but remembers whether your machine has a small screen or not (probably by storing a cookie which is changed when you click the link in the grey bar).
If you are having trouble with other sites, have you tried refreshing the page after resizing? When I have created responsive websites I often have to use JavaScript for a few features, and it simply isn't worth the processing power to make the code run every time the window size changes. Other than that I can't see what would be causing the problem (unless there is other important information you may have missed out) -
as well i open firefox , its open normally with no home page , but when i type any of the site it always show a blank page and loading circle is also round once (only one round) as before i didint face this problem because always loading circe round many times till page not open but now it round only once and page remain blank.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Firefox does not crash when exited the previous time. However, about half the time, when I start Firefox again, it shows the last websites I visited, despite the startup setting.
Feel free to write me if you need any extra info.Perhaps your install of Firefox is hanging on exit, triggering the session restore.
You can disable session restore by changing a hidden preference.
Type about:config into the location bar and press enter
Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
In the filter box type resume to bring up a small number of preferences
Double-click on the preference browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash to change its value to false

When I open a new tab, the new tab used to show shots of 6 or so of the last sites I'd viewed, so I could easily click on one and go to it. Now it shows a blank tab and I have to type the URL of the page I want. How can I change it back?

I noticed when I restart Firefox 4, it opens my previous tabs even I set the option "Open a blank page" and it opens blank page when I have "Show my windows and tabs from last time". Please ignore my question if you're already aware of this issue. Thanks.
Your previous tabs will not re-open or be available to re-open when starting Firefox if:

A few suggestions for you:
Try:
uninstall all HP utilities or other HP apps on your Mac
see if there is updated software on the HP website
go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Print
control-click on your printer in the column on the left
select "Reset Printing System..." and "reset" in the dialog that follows
Do a factory reset on your printer
go back to printers & scanners and it should see your printer and download a driver for it from Apple -

i upgrade firefox from version 7 to version 8, now when i start firefox everytime it open self the "getting start with firefox" website, in the options on firefox i select the 'show a blank page' but its not working. i am using firefox on windows XP- SP2.
Try restarting Firefox, the one time page(s) after starting a new release should disappear. Actually this last time with 8.0 they did not come up for me.
If that doesn't work then bring up '''about:config''' and place the url of the page into the filter. Right-click on anything that comes up and use "Reset". -

When I open safari, I get a blank page and the beach ball. If I try to go to a website, it will load up to a certain point sometimes—the .com of www.facebook.com for instance—but other times, nothing at all.
I've fixed this once before by deleting some files in the library folder—extensions & preferences I believe—and choosing not to have plug-ins selected, then restarting the whole computer—rather than just safari. It will work fine for a day, or maybe 3 at the most, before I have to repeat the process all over again. I'm sure it's because I usually put plug-ins back on once I get it to work, because you can't really use the internet without using plug-ins. But I'm using Chrome right now, as I do when I'm too lazy or too in a rush to try the whole process of getting safari to work again, and I don't have a single issue with it.
My question is really, what plug-in could cause this to happen repeatedly? It's not like I'm going to websites that may have malware on them. I spend most of my day going to some of the most visited websites on the internet.
Is there a known bug out there, because Java has been overrunning concurrently with this happening. It's CPU % runs around 100. I quit the process, but it doesn't change anything. So, other than the fan turning on, I have not had any popup telling me that safari has crashed, that I'm not connected to the internet, or that something went horribly, horribly wrong. I'm pretty sure Safari things it's running fine, but it's not.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Third-party system modifications are a common cause of usability problems. By a “system modification,” I mean software that affects the operation of other software — potentially for the worse. Don’t be alarmed by the complexity of these instructions — they’re easy to carry out and won’t change anything on your Mac.
These steps are to be taken while booted in “normal” mode, not in safe mode. If you’re now running in safe mode, reboot as usual before continuing.
Below are instructions to enter some UNIX shell commands. The commands are harmless, but they must be entered exactly as given in order to work. If you have doubts about the safety of the procedure suggested here, search this site for other discussions in which it’s been followed without any report of ill effects.
Some of the commands will line-wrap or scroll in your browser, but each one is really just a single line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then either copy or drag it. The headings “Step 1” and so on are not part of the commands.
Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. The other steps should be taken as the user who has the problem, if different. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this paragraph doesn’t apply.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
