When I upgraded to FF23, the display on one page will break as follows 
SummaryNewsChartsResearchValue AnalyzerTechnicalInsightEstimatesCompany ProfileFinancialsOptions 
but in IE8 it displays as

Each word is surrounded by a box, but cut and paste does not include the surrounding boxes. 
In addition, one page does not break a column of data, but overlays it onto the first data column. I use column to mean two separate page data elements of text. When I use the View, Page Style, No Style the page displays the data correctly spaced. I have tried different fonts, but have been unable to correct the display. I have tried disabling plugins but not change.

If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.
You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

I have upgraded to 9.3.3 recently.
We have a front end app which will run MDX queries to retrieve data.
Sometimes based on the users selections MDX query might get back nothing i.e will get #missing across all rows/columns and this works fine with the existing 9.3.1 essbase server.
If I run the same query against a 9.3.3 essbase cube I get the error "Resulting grid does not contain at least one row, one column and one POV. If you have any suppress row options selected pls clear them."
I DO NOT have Supress missing data/zero enabled. Not sure why I get this error even though I dont have that option enabled.
Essbase 9.3.3 on HP-UX ITanium 11.31
APS 9.3.3 on win 2003 R2
Smartview 9.3.3 - also tried with smartview 9.3.1.6 and see the same error.
Any suggestions to fix this issues?

The front end is using a VBA command "hypexecutequery" and with 9.3.3 essbase I get a return code -9 which means Operation was cancelled as per the smartview doc.
In 9.3.1 essbase I get the return code 0 which means the query is fine even if it does not return any data.
The query I am using now will return nothing as it is a check to see if there is any data. But with 9.3.3 Essbase I get an error code -9 which looks like it does not like the syntax or something.
Any suggestions?

Mysite Error - The site does not contain a default keywords termstore

I know this error has to do with the Managed Metadata Service. I recently had to delete my User Profile Service and Search Service, and then recreate new ones. Do I need to connect them to the existing Managed Metadata Service somehow?
I get this error when trying to change certain user profile columns in Mysites.

Go to the list of shared services in Central admin, highlight the Managed Metadata Service Proxy and select the properties button from the Ribbon. You'll see four checkboxes. Make sure the one labeled 'This service application is the default
storage location for Keywords' is checked. Depending on the order of installation of services or if the Managed Metadata service is deleted and recreated this sometimes doesn't happen.

Getting the "The site does not contain a default keywords termstore" error in mysites (SharePoint 2010). The "This service application is
the default storage location for Keywords." box is already checked. Which from my Googling, is normally the fix.
Any ideas on what else i can try?

According to your post, my understanding is that you get an error in SharePoint 2010 My site.
Do you have more than one managed metadata service applications set as the default for the same web application?
If you have more than one managed metadata service applications, you can try to uncheck the “This service application is the default storage location for keywords” option for other managed metadata service applications.
If you have only one managed metadata service applications, you can try to delete this managed metadata service application and create a new one to test if it works.

Normally, when you connect via http, the browser doesn't check for site identity, so I don't understand what's happening there.
Do you have any security-related add-ons that force popular sites to use a secure connection, or claim to provide anonymous browsing?
Were you making the connection on your own network or on a public network (e.g., school, coffee shop)? If it was a public network, maybe the error indicates that your traffic was being intercepted???
Without hands on, this is a tough one to diagnose.

Site does not show correct on Samsung Tablet

Hi all,
I've seen a few questions regarding Muse sites not being displayed correct on a Samsung Tablet. My problem is similar but still different. The site is displaying correct on the desktop/ipad/iphone but not on the Samsung Tablet.
In the previewt his is not shown. Now I also know that the preview more or less simulates how a site should look.
This is the site: www.uwpersoonlijkeoptieadviseur.nl (a dutch site).
I have looked at the links and they seem to be ok. I mean all the links link to the Tablet version.

Hi sanjit, the thing is that on a samsung tablet from around 3 years old the problem occurs. But on a samsung tablet almost a year /2years old the site displays correct.
Both of them has got android 4.04
See the image with the specs in which it loads correct.(white background)

Please let me know if there is any specific page element not showing up correctly on Tablet.
Also which browser are you using , browser version would help. Do you see the same problem with any other browser on same tablet.

I am trying to open a service request and the site does not work with ANY browser. I get the page https://getsupport.apple.com/GetParts.action which says "Send in for service. We just need a little more information." The continue button does not work. I've seen this problem before trying to file support requests. It's as if Apple simply does not want you to create requests.

I just went through several screens and had no problems. Try clearing your browser's cache and/or history.

I have been asked to create a test enviroment identical to the production enviroment. So, what I did was:
Backed up the production web application's content database: Prod_WSS_ContentDB
Created new test servers (domain controller, sql server and sharepoint 2013 server) in a new, completely isolated, network environment, without any connection with the production environment (specifically Azure)
Created a new web application in test environment with a new content database.
Dismounted the new content database with powershell: Dismount-spcontentdatabase Test_WSS_Content
Copy the Prod_WSS_ContentDB database to the test sql server and restored it with Management Studio.
Mount the Prod_WSS_ContentDB databe to the web application with powershell:
Mount-spcontentdatabse Prod_WSS_ContentDB -WebApplication http://testsp/
Then, when I type http://testsp in the browser it redirects me to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
and the site loads exactly as the production environment.
But, after some minutes, or if I restart the Sharepoint Server, when I navigate to
http://sitesp I am redirected to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
as expected, but the site does not load, the browser just show a complety blank page.
The Central Administration site loads normally.
Trying to fix it I found that if I dismount the content database Prod_WSS_ContentDB, then mount the test database Test_WSS_Content,
then navigate to the site, dismount Test_WSS_Content and finally mount again Prod_WSS_ContentDB, the site loads normally, no blank page, but after some minutes or if I restart the same happens again.
For the error event I receice in event viewer it seems that the problem is related to database. I have not found a solution for this error... How can I solve this?

According to your post, my understanding is that Site does not load after some minutes of creation or after restart the server.
Please make sure you create a test environment for existing production site correctly.

I have a new time capsule (replace my old time capsule). I want to erase my old one. My computer does not see the old one anymore, how do I connect it (the old TC is not connected to modem)

I have a new time capsule (replace my old time capsule). I want to erase my old one. My computer does not see the old one anymore, how do I connect it (the old TC is not connected to modem). I want to erase it and then use it as either a second hard drive (sired/sirelesly?) or as a hard drive/bridge. So,
1. why doesn't my cmputer see the old TC
2 once i have solved that, how do I erase the old one
3. Can I use the old one as a supplemental hard drive
     a. wired?
     b. wirelessly?
4. Can I use the old one as a range extender?
I know .. a lot of questions but I would appreciate any help.

1. Because it is either the same IP as the new one or hidden by being plugged in as a second router.
To access it, isolate one computer from the existing network and plug it directly by ethernet to a lan port of the TC. Use the erase function in the TC to remove all the content of the hard disk.
Then go to the internet tab, connection sharing and select off bridged. You can then reconnect the TC to the network.. and the computer as well. The TC will act as bridged device.. getting IP from the main router and should then appear correctly in Airport utility.
2. I covered in 1. But you just go in airport utility manual setup. disk, and you will see the erase function. You can also set it to bridge and leave the erase until you put it back in the network.. but be careful you erase the right one.
3. You can use the old TC via wired or wireless.. although I would always stick to wired connection if possible. Speed on wireless is 10x worse than wired.
Also note the reliability goes down dramatically after 2 years.. a series 1 3 years old or more is ebay fodder unless you want to repair it. Do not trust vital data to it.. when it dies you will have issues recovering it.
4. Yes, all apple routers will function as wireless extenders. when you do that the ethernet ports turn off so it becomes a purely wireless device.. strange apple decision on what you want to use your TC for.

Firefox does not display the basic menu line File Edit View etc. How do I get this menu to show. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that does not help
