Site map configuration.....change it?

Dear Experts,
Does one have control over how the site map looks?
Like it to have a certain heirarchy, but as each page has all the
links at the bottom, then site map does not look like i want it to look.
Any power over this?
Thanks so much...
Sincerely,
Hope

  • Changing map configure with OMB

Does anybody know how to change map configuration settings with OMB+? I would like to change bulk size, commit frequency, max number of errors, etc.. I could not find a good example of how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.
    OWB Client vesion: 10.2.0.3.33
    OWB Repository: 10.2.0.3.0
    Thanks,
    Nick

It may be the mapping has not been analyzed so it is in an early design phase when either the PLSQL (batch) or SQLLoader properties are not available. If you perform these configuration settings after the operators have been added and the map designed then I think you should be OK. If this still fails try performing an OMBVALIDATE on the mapping before settings the config properties.

  • 1532E MAP disassociating - Cause=Radio reset due to configuration change.

    Hello,
have a1532E MAP with WLC 2504 and 7.6.100.0 that shows oddly enough "Cause=Radio reset due to configuration change" and the interface resets.
Any idea how this comes about without any changes made.
    Relevant log attached.

After updating to 7.6.120 we've noticed that some of our AP's wouldn't  come up. After looking in the switch's logs I found this
chassis: Ports  PoE usage has exceeded threshold of 80%.
The power drawn is 117w (show power-over-ethernet).
When I use the following command: show power-over-ethernet brief I get this:
PoE   | Power  Power    Alloc Alloc Actual Configured  Detection   Power Pre-std
Port  | Enable Priority By    Power Power  Type        Status      Class Detect
      ----- + ------ -------- ----- ----- ------ ----------- ----------- ----- ------

Port 10 is where the missing AP is on.
How is it possible that after the update to 7.6.120 the AP won't work anymore?

  • I changed web hosts and can't publish through iWeb SEO Tool or Rage Site Map Automator. Do I need to delete the old site map?

I switched to iPage hosting since Mobile Me is expiring. Also recently upgraded to OS X 10.7.3 and am using iWeb 3.0.4 for my web site design. I published directly to the FTP from iWeb but all title tags, meta tags have disappeared and I'm not showing up in Google or others. I tried publishing from iWeb SEO but it couldn't complete the process.
Should I first publish to a folder as I did before with Mobile Me, then delete all old sitemaps and start over with the Site Map Automator and then try to publish from the SEO tool? Will I lose the key words and meta tags that are already in iWeb SEO?
    Thanks!

The problem is that most tech support people don't understand how iWeb structures a site.
When a visitor types in "domain-name-com" the browser expects to find an index.html in the root folder on the server. In "normal" websites the index.html file is the first page of the site.
The iWeb index.html file is a redirect to the first, or landing, page of the site which is the one at the top of the left column in iWeb just below the site name.
    iWeb produces two index.html files.
One is outside of the folder containing the rest of the files and directs to - folder-name/home-page-name.html
The other one is inside the folder and directs to - home-page-name.html
You have two choices of how you upload the files since you are publishing to a local folder.
You can upload the whole folder plus the external index.html to the root folder on the server and the URL to any page will be...
    http://www.domain-name.com/site-name/page-name.html
If you upload the contents of the site folder, and not the folder or the external index.html, the URL will be...
    http://www.domain-name.com/page-name.html
See this page for more info and the warning about breaking the RSS feed....

  • To configure a site map?

I would like to show only one groups page in a site map, is this possible ?

They did it by querying the WWSBR_ALL_FOLDERS view. Note that this view is not officially supported until the upcoming 9026 release, but it works in 902. The view implements security, so that the current user only sees the pages they are allowed to view. The security checking in the view may not be 100% in 902, so test carefully to make sure that you are getting the correct results.

  • Schedule generating site map with KM Scheduler

Hi everyone, as it takes a long time for a user to generate a site map and then get it displayed on the client side. From SDN I found all the solutions for site map are implemented in DynPage class.
I know executing DynPage is iView or browser window dependent. So it seems impossible to schedule this kind of portal component application with KM Scheduler.
I do hope there is a trick to do this. If there is no is any solution by now to execute like DynPage class with KM Scheduler ?
    Kind regards.
    Wang

    Hi,
generally you can create a service which will implement ISchedulerTask (in NWDS create portal application object -> RF Component Wizard -> Scheduler Task Wizard). This service will be accesible in KM configuration so you can schedule it as you wish. This service will "cache" the data for your sitemap iview.
Alternatively you can create a "standard" service, which will fetch the data in periodic intervals. In run method of the service you use something like this:
    while (true) {
      try {
        Thread.sleep(WAITINTERVALINMILISECONDS);
      } catch (Exception ex) {
// now call the method for fetching
// the data for your sitemap...
    Hope this helps a bit,

  • How to build a site map in Release 2 portal

Can any one tell how to generate a site map in portal release 2. We have all portal pages stored in pages group.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
thanks alot for these links! Glad to know that I am not the only person who didn't succeed using the forum search and thus I am obviously NOT stupid after all ;-)
Using your links I managed to install the portlet. However... (as always :()... the number of problems has exploded now:
1.) I have two languages installed in my portal (english=default and german). When switching to german (which is the language I installed in secaond place), the dropdown list of the site index portal for selecting the root page group won't show up with my custom page group that I have created. it only offers the default page groups like "corporate pages", "portal design-time pages" etc.). When changing to english, this problem doesn't exist (I can see my page group there)
2.) In our portal app, we link to the portal content from within an iframe. When clicking links inside my site map, however, the target pages will always open in the "top" frame, as it seems, not in the iframe itself :(. This looks like there is per default a "target=_top" attribute, which I don't want to have.
3.) Though I have installed the ptlnlsi.sql script according to the installation instructions, the message strings seem to be missing: In my portal browser, the site index portlet is displayed as
    "Missing string(sip_title) language(us) domain (wwc) sub_domain (ptl)"
The latter is of minor impact, but the first two problems completely crack up both our user access and page layout concept. I definitely have to find a solution to get rid of these, otherwise, the site index is of no use in our context.
    Can anybody help me, please?

  • Is there a way to create a site map of all RoboHelp topics in a published project?

My company uses an external search of our published RoboHelp options (as well as the internal; the external search covers all projects instead of a single one). We're looking to change search programs, but according to our web developer a lot of searches have issues finding the topics inside the published projects because of the way it links to topics using Javascript.
I think I know the answer to this question, considering it hasn't come up in any of my searches, but in case I need a second cup of coffee -- is there a site map or listing of links within a RoboHelp project that includes all the topics? Alternately, does anyone know of a service or program that can easily create a site map from a RH project? For reference, we're using RoboHelp 9.
    Thanks!

    Look in Tools > Reports.
Some can be saved as files. Others you can copy and paste into a text file.

  • Thumbnail images of the site map

In my work flow I find it very useful to create a site map
with images of all the web site's pages. I like being able to
easily look over how a site looks so that I can post notes about
the changes I would like to make to it in Acrobat.
What I would like to know is if there is a extension that
lets me do this without taking screen shots of every single page on
a site and then individually laying them out in a flowchart program
before importing it into Acrobat. Anyone know a extension that
    would work?

If you get your answer please let me know, good luck

  • How to not show pages in the Site Map

This is probably the easiest question of them all... but...
How do you not show pages in the site map?
It seems that by default, all pages are added to the sitemap.
Is it a case of unchecking "enabled" and checking "exclude from search results" under "More Options" on the page itself?
    Or another way?

    Hi David,
The "exclude from search result" will remove from the sitemap.xml "yoursite.com/sitemap.xml" and from major search engines from being picked up.  If you tick this option please allow for a few hours to have the xml to reflect the changes.
"If you select this option then this web page will be excluded from the site search feature built into this system as well as from the sitemap.xml file submitted to the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Live."
The sitemap module found under site settings is not related to the xml file so you'll need to manually remove and insert onto your page if using this feature.

    Hi
For Tomcat 3.x you need to use one of the following options:
(Note: this is with JBoss/Tomcat OR JBoss/Jetty)
Place you .war files in the following location:
C:\jboss-3.0.3\server\default\deploy and the app is automatically available.
If my app's name is DavidOnline.war, when deployed, I can access it at
    http://localhost:8080/DavidOnline..
    OR
Copy your entire development directory to the deploy direction above, RENAME your
directory from say C:\JspApps to C:\JspApps.war and you can work from that location and see your changes immeadiatly.
There is a file called jboss-service.xml that has some config options, also for the Tomcat bundle there is a file named tomcat-service.xml that has the standard server.xml section.. I suggest you check out the JBoss website, free docs and forums.. http://www.jboss.org.
    Thanks, Hope this helps.

  • Making a auto updating site map, index, RSS...problems

I am new to web page design and need some help.  I am using DW CS4 on MAC OS X 10.4.11 and placing the page onto a remote simple host by my ISP (Telus in Alberta, Canada).  I have a very basic web page and can start again if needed.  My goal is to use Lightroom to publish a few photo galleries to my webspace ( no problem there Lightroom dose it all)
The problem is I would like to post multiple photo galleries from Lightroom into a directory on the webspace but have an index page or site map that will have a link to each gallery.  I am trying to find a way to make the index automatically read the directory and update itself so that I can just upload the galleries from lightroom and not have to manually change the index page to include the new gallery in the directory tree.
I am just looking for some suggestions on how to accomplish this task.
I have a RSS feed already but I am hoping to have the feed or some page automatically recognise when a new gallery has been uploaded to the webspace.  I want to have it so that I upload and then it auto changes the index or some links page or site map and an RSS feed gets updated so I do not have to tell each family member everytime that I change the available photo galleries.
I just need some suggestions or direction to go so that I can learn this.
    Thanks Adam

    Hi
If you are going to use lightroom to create your galleries, then I would recommend taking a look at 'slideshow pro' and the 'slideshow pro director' for publishing /managing your images/galleries.

  • Help with Class-map configuration - ZBFW

    Hello,
I need some clarification regarding the class-map configuration in a ZBFW. I need to allow https, http, ftp & rdp traffic from Internet to few of the servers inside our LAN. So I put the below configuration to accomplish the task (example shows class-map for only https protocol) :
    a.)
    class-map type inspect match-all HTTPS-ACCESS
    match protocol https
    match access-group name HTTPS-SERVER-ACCESS
    ip access-list extended HTTPS-SERVER-ACCESS
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.55 eq 443
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.56 eq 443
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.36 eq 443
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.45 eq 443
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.60 eq 443
Where 55,56,36,45,60 are the servers inside the LAN (12 more servers are there) that need to be accessed via https, http, ftp & rdp from Internet.
Is it a correct approach? or do I need to change my configuation so that I have to match ACL with my class-map like below:
    b.)
    ip access-list extended OUTSIDE-TO-INSIDE-ACL
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.55 eq 443
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.55 eq www
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.55 eq 21
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.55 eq 3389
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.56 eq 443
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.56 eq www
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.56 eq 21
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.56 eq 3389
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.36 eq 443
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.36 eq www
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.36 eq 21
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.36 eq 3389
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.45 eq 443
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.45 eq www
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.45 eq 21
permit tcp any host 172.17.0.45 eq 3389
    class-map type inspect match-all OUT-IN-CLASS
    match access-group name OUTSIDE-TO-INSIDE-ACL
Which one is the correct approach when we consider the performance of the firewall ? Please help me.
    Regards,
    Yadhu

    Hey
I do not agree with Varun, I think the first approach is the best one.
Why? Because when you issue the "match protocol ..." you are usig NBAR wich is an application inspection software, which means that https or whatever protocol is inspected at layer 7, not layer 3 and 4 which the seconds approach does (IP and port-number).
Lets say you use the second approach and an attacker uses some malicious protocol that runs over port 443 or whatever (a port that you opened).  That attack would be successfull because all you say, you are going to IP-address 172.17.0.56 over port 443 so go ahead.
But if you are using NBAR, this would not work because NBAR will look at layer 7, inside the protocol itself and look if this really is HTTPS (or whatever protocol).
That's my two cents. Hope it helped!

As Alex mentioned, You are out of luck. Unlike SP 2010, you cannot install SP 2013 on Windows 7 or any other client OS.
    Your best options are:
Since Windows 8 Pro or above supports Hyper-V, you can run SP 2013 as a VM on Windows 8 pro
You can use VMware Player (free) on Windows 7
