Site reference. Is this possible in Muse?

Is it possible to repeat those complex page-wide slideshows in Muse at all?

Sorting elements by category - is this possible in Muse?

I have a page that may eventually have 100+ groups of 3 separate elements, which all are connected with a musical artist. I would like the user to be able to sort through the list based on categories I create.

Ideally, it would sort through multiple elements, and each set would be contained in a fixed rectangular box (so I'm basically sort empty boxes that multiple elements could go in, much like LIghtbox).
There are many places on my website that this could be employed to make the site look better and be easy-to-navigate.
Is this possible in Muse? If so, how? What widgets do I need? I'm willing to invest some money if that's what it takes, but any solution will have to be something I can edit in Muse myself.

You can try to use toolitp where insert the categories in trigger and the items in container , so when user will click or hover over trigger it would show up the category clicked.
The exact behavior that you have mentioned cannot be achieved without using custom code implementation, but with Muse widget you can achieve a similar effect.

Hi ArtusEduourd, I ended up buying the Fluid widget just to see how far I could take it, but it allows only the following from you list:
assigns multiple categories to the same picture
varying and very customizable thumbnails, responsive sizing. (Full screen etc., if half screen cuts down number of images per line to what you set - e.g. goes from 4 to 2... very fluidly)
deciding how many pictures to present as default (right now looks like max for each category is 12, but there may be a workaround)
Also has option of displaying photos in either matrix style or a vertical list.
Does not have deep linking, any description options for each picture (they just give you an option for one image upon hover and then opens up fullscreen image), a drop down menu (even with the Muse Hacks out there via a widgets you can find in muse-themes that accomplishes that... )
It's great for a photographer who wants to display and sort photos into categories in very easy way, but cuts down on customization options, rollover is disabled - so as I'm putting together a site for a business displaying their various categories of solutions similar to page I sent, it doesn't help me at all, am as anxious as well to find a widget or even a Muse native workaround packing multiple widgets to accomplish this.... Is it possible in Muse to create hyperlinks to individual slideshow images?

Right now I've got a web-comic going (check it out at www.joshuawright.net). In order to maintain an archive page for each new comic I put up, I'm having to create a new html page every time. This is the only way I know to create a clean hyperlink on my archive page to each comic. I would like to use a simple slideshow widget, but there doesn't seem to be a way to link to specific images within the slideshow from another page.
For example, if I have slideshow of 30 images, and I want to create a separate html archive page with a text link to each individual one (so say, if I have 30 different luxury car pictures and I want readers to be able to click straight to the Ferrari picture without having to scroll through the entire slideshow) is this possible through Muse???? If so how???

Thanks for the reply. I looked into your suggestion but as far as I can tell, that still doesn't allow for a separate hyperlink to individual images within the tooltip gallery. I'm happy to be proven wrong though if anyone knows where I'm screwing up.
To be clearer, check out my archive page for my web-comics: The Archive | An index of joshuawright.net See how each link takes you to each page (i.e. image). It would be great if I could just have one slideshow gallery on one page filled with all the necessary jpgs that I could then archive in the same way.

I need my client to be able to easily add/remove images. Preferably without requiring my client to pay for software. Is this possible with Muse or any other Adobe product. I understand that Muse can allow in-browser swapping of images, but I'm not sure about add/remove.

You can only edit/replace the existing content with In-Browser editing at this time. Please refer to the following article on what exactly can be edited with the help of BC IBE at this time - http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/tutorials/in-browser-editing-muse-part-1.html.

HTML files from an existing site cannot be reused in Muse as Muse works only with files having extension as .muse.
However, you use apps like Dreamweaver to edit your existing HTML files.

If you want it to maybe happen some of the time, if people use the right browser and software and system, you can use JavaScript.
If you want it to happen reliably, you need server software to add the stamp before the file is served, integrated into your web site's CGI/ASP/PHP or whatever. Probably not an option with shared hosting.

I started creating my site on a PB 15", but when I'm home I like the speed of my iMac and I'd like to continue the editing process on my iMac but I can't find the files that iWeb saves.
I'd ideally like to save my site on my 30gig iPod using it as a hard drive between both. I would love for this to happen but I can't find the files saved by iWeb. Is this even possible?
I've even tried linking my PB to my iMac via firewire as a hard drive. No Luck.

I think iWeb only recognizes the 'domain.sites' file so while you can set up more than one site, they are in the same project.
Of course, the workround is to move the domain.sites file out of the default location, which them makes iWeb create a new one. You can then work on any number of projects, only moving the correct file into the default location for work on each one. Not elegant by any means, but until someone suggests a better way (or Apple produce a more flexible version of the software) it works fine that way.

Are you sure about your FTP credentials (FTP folder and site URL) that you are using for the upload? Are you able to see the updated files in the remote directory of the FTP server, after you finish uploading the muse file, using an external FTP client like FileZilla?

I'm not clear on exactly what it is you're asking, but if you're referring to changing opacity, you can change the opacity setting for the States of a menu item via the States panel and Control Strip.

There are two parts to this:
1) It may be that you should have an Apple Education Support person helping you with this. If you have enough computers for this to be a problem, you may benefit from a Server, a site license, and an occasional visit from an Education Support Specialist.
2) The brief answer, if you want Individual Apple_IDs to control each computer, is to buy new copies of Mac OS X under those new Apple_IDs and re-download and re-Install. Mac OS X is customized to the Apple_ID before it is downloaded.

Ok once again.
Let's assume a friend using Muse creates a site using his PC and publishes it.
It’s now a hosted site created in Muse.
Let’s also assume he wishes to have me work on the Muse created website which he created and published using Muse.
Can I use my copy of Muse on my PC , a PC different than my freinds, to download the site my friend created so I may work on it in my copy of Muse?

I've created a customized menu and at the instance of me selecting a menu, a VI should load itself dynamically. I am using call by reference. Sometimes it works and sometimes it won't. In short, what I want to achieve is load VIs dynamically and close them dynamically once they finish executing. Thanks !
