Site wt password - 'error occurred updating .Mac'

Hi all, I have a strange problem from today that I can really not understand:
If my website is password protected I can't up-date and upload my site from iWeb. In this case a error message als 'An error occurred updating.Mac' and iWeb stop to up-date the site.
If the same site is not password protected I can up-date it with no error message.
I have to say that now I'm really lost ? Someone got an idea of the problem ?

Hi will, the user name and the password is longer als 6 cahracter. Before it works, just know that dosen't works again... That's is pretty strange

10.5.3 error: 'The update "Mac OS X Update" can't be saved.'

When I run Software Update (on my iMac - no problems on the MacBook Pro) and try and download the 10.5.3 update I get the following messages in the error window"
*The update “Mac OS X Update” can’t be saved.*
*You do not have appropriate access privileges.*
*The Installer package has been moved to the Trash. To try again, open the package from the Finder.*
I've run "Repair Permissions" and "Verify Disk" several times and there seem to be no problems.
I'd be very grateful if anyone has any ideas what is going wrong!

Have you tried booting into the Recovery HD to check/repair your disk. Restart holding Command+R - once booted select Disk Utility and then select Macintosh HD and click on 'repair disk' If it fixes anything click repair disk again until you get a clean pass. Whilst in Disk Utility you could also 'repair disk permissions' With Macintosh HD still selected click on 'repair disk permissions'. Once done, restart as normal from the Apple menu.
Then try updating again using the 'combo', available here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1582
If you still have problems you could try a Safe Boot: restart holding down the shift key until you see the grey progress bar. Once booted restart as normal from the Apple menu.

HELP: The update "Mac OS X Update Combined" can't be saved error -1001

I have a Mac Mini at a vacation town home, so it needs quite a few updates whenever I use it. Everything installed fine except a combined 10.5.6 and 10.5.7 update. Everytime I attempt to download/install it, it will download a few mbs, then stop and give me the error:
*The update “Mac OS X Update Combined” can’t be saved.*
A networking error has occurred: timed out (-1001). Make sure you can connect to the Internet, then try again.
My internet never seems to have conked out, as the 'ready' light on my modem is always lit, so where is the problem here?

Fatal Error when updating to 4.5

I have a blackberry pearl 8130. I tried updating to v 4.5 and it started normal then I got a fatal error occurred, update not completed message and now I have no power to my blackberry. I tried reloading without battery but it didn't work...

Hi and welcome to the forums.
You are going to have to wipe the device and reload the OS.
You upgraded to a version that wasn't released by your carrier.
I think the most local way to proceed is to restore your phone
using the Device OS version supported by your carrier. That way
you know the software works, because you ran it before the way
they have been delaying the new OS release, you will at least have a
working phone until they do.
That's just my opinion, it's your money.
Because we don't know why it failed I think we should try this;
Remove the desktop software form your PC with this link:

Cold boot the PC and reinstall the desktop software you used before.
Download whichever OS you decide on and make sure it's recognized by

Error occurs when updating app in Mac App Store

In attempting to update 1Password in the Mac App Store, I got a message indicating an error occured. The App Store sent me to the Purchases Page to try again. When I did this, I got the following message: 1Password Password Manager and Secure Wallet failed to download. Use the Purchases Page to try again.
I continue to get this error message and I unable to download the 1Password update. I am on an intel Mac running OS 10.8.5
1Password support was unable to help me. They suggested I contact Apple.

you will have the most up to date itunes available for your os 10.6.8. to get a newer version you will have to upgrade to a newer os.

1) I changed passwords few time. (through using forgot password options)
2) Cleaned-up memmory and cash using ccleaner.
3) Restarted the system couple of time, Try to login from preferance>iCloud> ...

Are you booting from RAID? even though it warns that you can't be booting from RAID, some people still run the update.
Any problem with your system?
While it only says that you need to quit any and all open programs, sometimes it helps to reboot (and boot into Safe Mode) just to begin the process.
When there was an SMC Firmware update before (last fall) some people also had trouble.
We aren't mind readers, and to say it failed doesn't give those of us reading this (and non of us are Apple tech support) a lot to go on.
+Please follow the instructions in the updater application to complete the process.+
+To update the SMC firmware on your Mac Pro:+
+Your computer’s power cord must be connected and plugged into a working power source.+
+1. Quit all other open applications.+
