Sitemap.xml is not up-to-date

I was browsing in webmaster tools and I noticed that there was an alert that Google was experiencing crawl errors on my site. I noticed that the crawl errors were 404 page not found and that the pages were old pages that have expired or are disabled. Then I looked at the sitemap.xml and noticed that they are still in the feed. Is there a way to update the sitemap.xml so that it updates/regenerates? It looks to me that new pages are being added to the sitemap.xml file but expired and disabled pages are not being removed. Thanks!

Thanks Liam. I took a copy of sitemap.xml off the site and copied it to the root of the site via FTP. How long before I can delete the file so that the system regenerates? Or did I do this right at all?
Plus, since my site is always changing, I'm guessing that I have to do this periodically.

I have created XML file and Imported in Excel. Design time I have 6 rows in sample xml file. I created XML Map connection and gave refresh option as every 5 sec. In my data I have 4 rows but in output it is displaying first 3 rows. I checked my Display Range it is proper. If I gave same XML file as input in XML Map connection then also it is loading first 3 rows. If I change anything in input file then it is displaying changes but not loading other rows but in design time it is displaying proper data from input url. Is there any way to fix it?

that is a disadvantage of xml maps. You will have to use the the xml connection for that.

The PATH expression for x.data is wrong and you're missing a couple of XPath steps in the 2nd XMLTable main expression.
This should be better :

How can incorporate the phone pages to sitemap.xml / Adobe Muse

I created a web page with Adobe Muse with desk and phone plataform. The problem I have is that the phone plataform was not included in sitemap.xml
I need to know if I did something wrong or this could really happen as it is a new software.
Is there any way to contact you by phone ?
Anybody speeks spanih ?
The main problem is that Google does not read the phone plataform as the sitemap.xml does not make a difference between the desk and phone plataform as both have the same name in the .html code.
I am not supposed to change any information as the pages come as default.

We generate one sitemap for whole site which includes the information about phone and tablet , it should be fine with single sitemap because Google knows that desktop pages are canonical.

Converted XML not showing multiple data entries correctly

I am creating a PDF Form from a xsd scheme but when I have data that could require multiple entries the converted xml is a mess. I am curently trying to create a way to add fields for multiple children. I created an expanding table and the fields are automatically copied when I click on „+“ or are deleted when I click on „-“ . If I have multiple rows for children then the converted xml looks like this :
The correct xml for multiple data entries should look like this (this is from a xml scheme not made in LiveCycle) :
Even if I copy the fields without creating a table, the converted xml is still a mess just like on the first image. Is there a way to show the xml from the PDF from correctly. One of my sites, google has now accepted the sitemap without errors.
However, another of my sites google still reports errors on the sitemap.xml, regarding the invalid time and date.

BI Publisher Word Template The report does not contain any data fields.

I have OBIEE BI Publisher report (10.3.4) working fine using BIP but using MS Word 2003 I want to create new template and want to add charts etc.
Step 1. In MS Word I successfully login Oracle BI Publisher as Administrator
2. Oracle BI Publisher -> Open (I open the report)
3. Go to Insert -> Table Wizard
I get this error:
The report does not contain any data fields. Please make sure that the reports generates data with the default settings or provide a valid XML file.

.xml file not loading when piece runs through an LMS

Dear all
We created a fully interactive training program on MS Excel where we also simulated Excel using the OWC10.DLL control. This works pretty well for both .exe and web packaged pieces.
In certain cases this control is pre-populated using a .xml data file.
When the piece is packaged for the web and runs directly over the web - everything works fine.
But when published to Moodle as a SCORM 1.2 package the data in the .xml file is not read. The .xml file is included in the SCORM wrapper.
Anyone has any idea what the problem could be?

"XML File not found for the Container DataBindings.cpx" error after deploy

I have a problem with my JSP-Javaproject. Local works all fine but when i deploy my project to a Oracle Aplication Server i allway get this XML-File-Not-found exception:

Adding the dependency in the ViewController fixed this for me.
I'm using two AppModules in the controller and the second one wasn't being picked up.
I was able to fix this by:
Go to the Project Properties, select Dependencies, edit the Dependent Projects and Archives, find the model that's failing and add a tick in the Build Output box.
The model should now be picked up in the ViewController's DataBindings.cpx source file, though I did have to restart JDev for this to be picked up.

B2B adapter is not polling any data from EDI X12 810 ECS file

I am new to Oracle B2B. I am using
Jdev 11.1.1.6
Oracle Editor : 7.0.5.4016
Document Protocol : EDI_X12
Document type : 810 (Invoice )
Version: 4010
Weblogic server :11.1.1.6.0
Requirement is : i had an EDI file and i need to translate the EDI map using the B2B adapter, transport to SOA Suite and insert into a custom DB.
Issue is : B2B adapter is not polling any data from EDI X12 810 ECS file
for this i created sample EDI X12 810 ecs file, i converted the same to .xsd and .dat file. I created partner, and while configuring channel i used '*Generic File 1.0*' protocol and i given folder path( i also checked, by just giving folder Name) in the folder name property of 'Transport Protocol Parameters' , i also placed sample xml file into this folder. And I created sample process in Jdev to poll data from this folder.
build and deployment is fine for this process, but no instances is created for this process. and the Process is not Polling any data from the folder which i mentioned in the Transport Protocol Parameters.
is this the way am doing is wrong for my current requirement or am i did any wrong step (as stated above ) ? Please help me. How can i receive data from this EDI file to my bpel process so that i can continue with the rest of the Process. Thank you in advance

I also has one more doubt, now i created ecs,xsd and .dat by selecting sample EDI file in Document editor. suppose i want create the same ecs ,.xsd and .dat for my gentran file which is of EDI x12 810 standard but i have it in PDF format , then how can i access that to in Document editor ( in the import option, i found Gentran DDF and Gentran Unix IG and i was getting the following error while importing my PDF file

I have seen this error when I'm executing inside one of the (j2ee sun reference implementation) server containers (either web or ejb). I believe its caused by "something" having previously loaded the "sax 1 driver class". In my case, I think the container or server is loading the sax parser from a jar that contains a sax 1 version. If you can, ensure that nothing is loading the sax 1 parser from another jar on your system. Verify that you are loading the sax parser from a jar containing the latest version so that you get the sax 2 compliant parser. Good luck!

Problem converting data in XML file to internal table data

I have a requirement. I need to convert an XML file to internal table data and based on that data do Goods Receipt in SAP.

I am able to convert the XML file to data in SAP. But this blog will display the output on screen as ELELEMNT = nodename VALUE= value of that node.
But I donu2019t want in that way, I want to store all the data in XML file in an internal table so that I can make use of those values and do Goods Recipt in SAP.
Can some one suggest how should I read the data in an internal table.

DPM 2012 R2 install fail - Reporting services "definition contains XML that is not well-formed or the XML is not valid"

I've been battling with this for a while and I'm getting nowhere. I'm attempting to install DPM 2012R2 onto a fresh VM with a local SQL installation. The setup is as follows:
Server OS: 2008R2 SP1
SQL: 2008 R2 standard with SP3(tried SP2 before this)
Collation: SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS
Reporting services installed: Yes(ticked do not configure during the installation)
Enabled reporting servics on port 80 with the default URL
DPM Installation does not throw any errors during the preinstall stage(The server passes all the checks)

I've managed to get it to this stage. Originally I didn't have encryption keys or a listening port(which I fixed).

Can you try following steps:
If there are SSL certificates on your computer, by default SQL 2008
installation configures HTTPS for reporting websites. When DPM tries to
deploy reports on these websites it may fail if the reporting websites
are not accessible (might be due to invalid/expired certificates). To
workaround this, provided you do not require HTTPS for reporting websites do
the following:
1. Edit C:\Program Files\Microsoft DPM\SQL\MSRS10.MSDPMV3BETA1EVAL\Reporting
Services\ReportServer\rsreportserver.config
2. Set the SecureConnectionLevel to 0 if the current value is 2 (A value to
2 means secure connection is required)
3. Connect to SQL reporting service configuration manager and connect to the
instance MSDPMV3BETA1EVAL
4. Click on Web Service URL, click advanced and remove SSL identities
5. Repeat the above for Report Manager URL
6. Make sure report manager URL and web service URL are accessible with out
any errors.
6. Restart report server
If that doesn't solve the problem, please try following steps:
1. Open Start-> All programs->SQL server 2008->Configuration Tools->Report
Server Configuration Manager
2. Connect to the instance which the DPM is using to install.
3. Browse Report Manager URL and web service url
4. If report manager URL or web service url throws any error say 500 or 404
fix the error. (Try also replacing machine name with localhost in url)
5. Otherwise delete DPMReports folder (if present) using below instructions
6. Restart reporting services
7. Try DPM setup again.
Deleting DPM reports:
1. Open report manager URL in IE
2. Click show details on right hand side
3. Put a tick against DPMReports folder
4. Click Delete button.

Formatting an XML string that has a date

Hi All - new to this forum!
Not familiar with XML operations and seeking some advise. I have a field that contains XML text that has a date within that I want to extract and format appropriately for some reports.
Getting to the date portion of the field is not pretty (original code below) and could desire some work itself, but the real problem lies in formatting the date once extracted; sometimes the date text is in the format of "Month DD YYYY" and other times "DD Month YYYY" so the below code fails if the latter is found.

The best thing to do with a date you want to report on, is to not store it corrupted inside XML.
Multiple reasons why are discussed here.
If you are stuck with the ugly inefficient design, then you are probably stuck with ugly inefficient code as a result.

Exception occurs when xml parser encounters a '&' in data

I'm using xmlparserv2 and jdk1.3.1. When I run a query I convert it into xml using the oracle xmlparser classes and methods. Everything works fine until I encounter a '&' character in my data. The parser throws an exception about the character '&' not mapping to a valid unicode.
How can I correct this error? Is there some way that I can define how the character '&' is mapped?
What class file determines how special characters are mapped?

and if you don't want to or can not fix the data, than use REPLACE in your queries.
This is normal behaviour with any XML parser. & has a special meaning in XML so in your data you have to & to reprasent &. Fix your data replace all occurrences of & with &
