Siteminder login page integration

Hi,
Any one succeeding in integrating the siteminder login page inside the portal page?
For eg:when the password is wrong etc I donot want the user to see the siteminder page instead I want my page to be shown.
How can I do this?
cheers,
Ranjit

There's no way to extend the SSO parameters in the manner you
describe, at the moment.

  • Integrated ITS on SRM:Login Page Problem

    Hello All,
       I am working on SRM 4.0 with Internal ITS.I have done all the required settings for Internal ITS.I am able to get the login page but when I enter the user Id and password of my SRM system,It shows the erroe that "Incorrect SSO configuration on this server ".
       I have checked the transaction RZ11 on SRM Server for the parameter login/accept_sso2_ticket.It is set to value 0.
       Can anyone tell me what extra settings are to be done for the Integrated ITS?Please help.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Deepti.

    Hi Raja,
       I have changed the default language in the system settings for the service BBPSTART as English.Also I have made the following changes for the same service :-
    1>Changed the Logon procedure to "Alternative Logon procedure " and in that I have removed "SSO Authentication".
    2>In system Logon Configuration,I have changed the default client and language.
    3>In service data,I have changed the Basic authentication from Standard r/3 User to "Internet User".
      After doing the above changes,I have republished the service.
      Now i am getting the Login Page(in language English) but with the message "SSO cannot be used for logon To continue, choose "Logon". A dialog box appears, where you can enter your user and password. This server does not support HTTPS! It is therefore potentially unsafe to send your password ".
      After that when I enter the ID and Pwd,I get the same Login screen(USER,PWD,CLIENT,LANGUAGE AND ACCESIBILITY Labels) but this time below there is the message "Inocrrect SSO configuration on this server".
      Please tell me the exact changes so that I can login to the homepage.
      Also to avoid the Login page,I have tried entering the Login  Details in anynomous Logon data,but then I directly get the Homepage with the Menu on the Left hand Side and when I click on any of the items,I get the screen with the following text:-
    SSO is not active in system
    To continue, choose "Logon". A dialog box appears, where you can enter your user and password.
    This server does not support HTTPS! It is therefore potentially unsafe to send your password
    Copyright 2002-2004 SAP AG All Rights Reserved
      I am not able to understand why the system is prompting me for the SSO settings when I have set the parameters(LOGON_ACCEPT_SSO2_TICKET AND LOGON)_CREATE_SSO2_TICKET to 0).
    Please help.
    regards,
    Deepti.

  • Opens Webmail login page instead of sso login page after changing the webma

    Hi Gurus,
    I have setup notes webmail in portal which uses SSO. I login to portal and click the webmail link which opens the sso page for authentication(Cuz I have integrated the webmail to use SSO). I enter my username and password. Then it shows my emails, inbox..etc. I logout of portal, Go to Notes client on my PC and change my webmail password there. I go back to portal and log in and click the webmail link on the portal. Cuz I have changed the webmail password, I expected that it will open the SSO page and ask me to enter the password again. It didn't happen. Instead of opening eh SSO login page, It opens the Webmail login page with an error saying "Invalid User Name or Password". I am wondering why it opens the webamil login page instead the sso login page. I can still login to webmail If I enter the user name and new password. But it doesn't update the webmail password which is stored in the SSO. Please post a reply if you have some idea about fixing this.
    Thanks

  • SSO login page - SSL

    Hello all,
    we have full insatllation of OAS 10G (BI + INFRA, both on 1 server), there are more than 3000 employees using the implemented SSO to login to more than 40 web applications running on more than one server (some as external applications, some on the same server), and we have another installation on the same server which is "SOA Suite OC4J 10.1.3" integrated with the installed INFRA as partner application to utilize the OID authentication through SSO. and 2 Ebusiness suite installations on 2 other servers.
    now for some reason, our top management asks to make the SSO login page to run under HTTPS protocol (SSL).
    can you help out? what is the impact as we have that number of applications? is there any useful documents?
    thanks,
    Sallloum

    The obvious reason to have this arrangement is to get increased security.
    Now SSL implementation on OAS-BI, EBS and SOA Suite should be carefully planned. It needs to be clear what has to be under SSL: SSO or the whole suite of applications. In general, both ways are possible. But each component can be configured for SSL.
    Please note, any changes in configuration here will affect configurations of all applications that are using it.
    Read administration documents for details on each parts configuration with SSL. For SSO, here is the document to follow.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14099_19/idmanage.1012/b14078/ssl.htm#sthref311
    Also check metalink for additional resources.
    thanks,

  • Intermittent Indirect REference to login page error

    Hello,
    I am building a small web app in a mixed (java/microsoft) environment. We have no budget for a purchased single sign on solution, so I built one with the following architecture:
    ASP page with integrated windows security, this simply returns to the url passed in as'URL' the clients current logon name.
    This ASP page is called by the IntranetSSOServlet, which then builds and submit the vanilla logon page. This servlet is my logon page, it simply posts it's URL to the ASP page, and if a return is posted from ASP, the logon page is bult and submitted. The IntranetSSOServlet also sets a session variable called user to the current user's windows login.
    I have two secure files, these are .jsp passthrough pages (since accessing the servlet directly did not appear to trip the security requirement and call the logon request from the server, so no users were ever in any roles). These are simple pages with a javascript redirect to the two servlets, and the jsp is only used because the servlets do not seem to trip the security requirement in the App server.
    On my machine this works with no issues, single sign on is a success and all is well, on the machine next to mine it works fine also. However, on several client machines, I keep getting an invalie direct reference to login page.
    My question is this:
    Does anyone see any major issues with the architecture which are causing this?
    It appears that the browser on some clients is attempting to go 'Back'. Is this a standard function of any software packages (spyware, internet tracking software, etc.?)
    I am building with Netbeans 5.0, running Embedded Tomcat 5.5.9 and the pages are all accessed via windows XP/IE 6
    Again, whats weird is that this works fine on several workstations, but throws the invalid direct reference to login on others...
    I am quite confused.
    Code to follow:
    IntranetSSOServlet
    if(request.getParameter("user") != null)
    HttpSession session = request.getSession(true);
    session.setAttribute("user",request.getParameter("user"));
    //If SSO submission has returned a validated user name
    //out.println(request.getParameter("user"));
    //post this name and the default password to the logon
    //This servlet will become the logon page, which will handle the redirects easier
    out.println("<form METHOD=\"POST\" name = \"form\" action=\"../Intranet-WebModule/j_security_check\">");
    //Generate a div to hide all of the input fields
    out.println("<div style=\"display:;\">");
    out.println("<input type=\"text\" name=\"j_username\" value=\""+request.getParameter("user")+"\"/>");
    out.println("<input type=\"password\" name=\"j_password\" value=\"sas\"/></div>");
    out.println("<input type=\"submit\" value=\"Submit\"/></div>");
    request.getSession().setAttribute("user",request.getParameter("user"));
    //out.println("<input type=\"submit\"></form>");
    out.println("</form><script language=\"javascript\">//form.submit();</script>");
    else
    //call the SSO submission page
    out.write("<script language=\"javascript\">location.replace(\"http://HOSTNAME/SSO/SSO.asp?URL="+lookupIntranetGlobalsBean().getJSPSiteRoot()+"IntranetSSOServlet\");</script>");
    out.close();
    This Servlet simply returns from the ASP a string (the user's logon) and then creates the post page, which posts a single dummy password to the app server
    JSP passthrough page (secured resource)
    <%@page contentType="text/html"%>
    <%@page pageEncoding="UTF-8"%>
    <%--
    <%@taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" prefix="c"%>
    --%>

    </head>
    <body>
    <script language="javascript">
    location.replace('http://HOSTNAME:8080/Intranet-WebModule/HRTools/newEmployeeAccountServlet');
    </script>
    </body>
    </html>

    Another try besides
         <login-config>
            <auth-method>FORM</auth-method>
            <realm-name>userDatabase</realm-name>
            <form-login-config>
                <form-login-page>/pages_public/login.jsp</form-login-page>
                <form-error-page>/pages_public/loginError.jsp</form-error-page>
            </form-login-config>
        </login-config>is that I try to handle the error code in the web.xml with
    <error-page>
         <error-code>400</error-code>
         <location>/error.jsp</location>
      </error-page>It works when I say location = index.jsp, but it doesn't work when I try to redirect to error.jsp.
    But when I redirect to index.jsp I just reload the login page, but then the user gets no information what has happened, therefore I need the error,jsp.
    I have no idea why. If anybody has a hint or know why it is this way, please let me know!!
    Thanks.

    Thank you,
    Sandeep.

    You are getting 404 error because, you might have not configured EM in your domain. While creating the SOA domain, you should also choose Enterprise Manager template.
    To add EM to your existing domain do the following steps.
    1. Stop all the servers.
    2. Invoke the config wizard.
    3. Choose Extend Domain option. Select your domain.
    4. Choose EM template.
    5. Complete the wizard.
    6. Start the servers.
    Now EM url will be accessible.
    Hope this helps!!!

  • 2 Login Pages in single realm

    My question is really for Sun AM 7.1, but I am sure the answer for OpenSSO will be the same. Is it possible to have 2 different login pages within the same realm? I have a scanario where I have 2 different user types existing in the same directory, but each require different data on the login page. They also both require CDSSO and I have found issues with the realm login and CDSSO in AM 7.1 (policy agent 2.2).

    Hello,
    I think you are getting confused between an requisition object and a E-Rec start page.
    Some basics..Please ignore if you are already informed of this;
    A requisition object (NB) carries reference of a position which requires to be filled. Start point of the E-Rec process would be creation of a vacancy request either in MSS or using a recruiter start page. In both cases, the person who is raising the VR would mention the position object I.D which would be fetched from the org. structure.
    If it is through MSS, through object data provider, the person raising the VR would see the org.units and the related positions under him (Sub-ordinate org.units & positions). He would make a selection of the position which creates a position reference to the Requisition object
    Similarly if the Vacancy request is being created through Recruiter start page, the recruiter would be able to see the entire org. structure and would be able to select a position object.
    In both the cases, configuration to integrate E-Rec to OM is necessary which needs to be done in table V_T77RCF_OIUNIT
    Hence to conclude, whatever be the org.structure you have in OM, if the integration is active between E-Rec and OM, the positions required for VR creation can be picked from the Org. structure.
    Now about the E-rec start pages, it is not dependent on the OM structure as informed earlier. For Instance, the recruiter start page has a link to Maintain requisitions which would provide access to the NB-requisition object assigned to the particular recruiter. The Requisition objects internally have a reference to positions selected when the vacancy request is created.
    Hope this clarifies.
    Best Regards
    G Raj

  • OAM-02073 when trying to login with custom login page

    I Created a custom login page, but when I submit it to OIM I get the error on the page "System error. Please re-try your action. If you continue to get this error, please contact the Administrator." with the OAM 11g Page, and in the logs it shows the errors below. Thanks for any ideas on what this issue could be.

    Hello, I'm having the same issue. I did check my custom login form and I'm using "post" and fully qualified OAM host name. The behavior and very inconsistent. My integration is OIF-OAM. OIF proxy protected by 11g webgate. If I close the browser or try hitting back button, the login form comes up fine and could able to access the resource. I did look into support site and found this Doc Id: ID 1348419.1 which matches my condition, but couldn't able to figure out if there is a patch out for this bug.
    Has anyone faced this issue?
    Thanks for the help.
    Sunil.

  • Can't Set Session State from the Login Page

    I have a dilema. On the standard login page I enter values in 2 fields namely, CAMPUS (Select List) and USERNAME (text field).
    After clicking on the login button I want to navigate to PAGE 1 and use the values of CAMPUS and USERNAME to filter data. I have created two APPLICATION Level items (A_USERNAME,A_CAMPUS) to which I assign the values of USERNAME and CAMPUS in two AFTER SUBMIT computations on the login page.
    When I arrive on PAGE 1 the session state values of A_USERNAME,A_CAMPUS are still both null therefore the query returns null. It seems that the login process does not issue a SUBMIT for session state to be saved. How do I save the values in session state on login?
    In the Login PROCESS, can I specify the Page 1 items to be set and the values to set them in a URL somewhere? Is it here?
    wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login(
    P_UNAME => :P101_USERNAME,
    P_PASSWORD => :P101_PASSWORD,
    P_SESSION_ID => v('APP_SESSION'),
    P_FLOW_PAGE => :APP_ID||':1' <<========here?
    If so what is the correct syntax?
    If I revisit the login page a second time, a submit is issued and the values are set in session state.
    Anyone got any ideas??
    I tried creating a standard position button which issues a submit but this didn't work either.
    regards
    Paul J Platt

    Unfortunately your solution is causing problems with retrieving cookies that I try to get for the campus and username during a "Before Header Process" as well. The cookies are normally set on an "After Submit" process. When I return to the login page I get
    Error ERR-1029 Unable to store session info. session=10760914996048113736 item=8561939526127479
    ORA-02291: integrity constraint (FLOWS_010600.WWV_FLOW_DATA_FK) violated - parent key not found
    But if I turn the cookies off, it seems to work OK.
    regards
    Paul JP

  • Help needed in login page.

    Hi guys,
    I have just started learning JSP and implemented login model in my application.
    Request all of you to kindly go through the code and suggest any recommendation if required.
    Though there is no error while executing the code and getting the login page . I just wanted to know whether the code is written in proper manner or not.

    What You've listed are not technologies but IDEs. IDE is just a tool that helps You during development process and makes Your job easier. At the beginning IMO it's better to use NetBeans cause it's ready to work out of the box and has better integration between IDE and webc ontainer than Eclipse. Start from reading this book. It's excellent for the beginner.

  • Partner application configuration is missing error on SSO login page

    We have APEX 3.1.2 setup as a partner application and an application within APEX setup to use SSO for authentication. Following a link to the APEX application redirects to the Single Sign-On page, as it should, but it also shows "Error: The partner application configuration is missing or expired." I type in my password and username, click the Login button, and (if I entered my username and password correctly, of course!) then the APEX application is shown. So, I cannot figure out why we're getting the no_papp_err error and I have not found any solutions to that issue on Metalink or anywhere else on the Internet. Any ideas? I'm concerned that we have a misconfiguration somewhere that is causing this error and will affect any other partner application we setup in the future.
    We're on Oracle Portal 10.1.4, SSO 10.1.2, and SSL is setup on both infra and mid tiers.

    Did you try checking the partner application entries on the SSO-login server page?
    please login as orcladmin or some other user with membership in, i beleive, iasadmins group. verify that for this partner application, what you see here corresponds to the application URL. it looks like your login page call may have issues. so check for login url too.
    also check the ORASSO.WWSSO_LS_CONFIGURATION_INFO$ for entries corresponding to Apex application.

    When the next page is displayed and I try to retrieve the value held in the new field it has been cleared, but the values entered into items
    P101_USERNAME and P101_PASSWORD are still present.
    I can't figure out why the values held in items P101_USERNAME and P101_PASSWORD are still present but P101_DOMAIN has been cleared.
    I've tried creating a value on page zero and writing the domain value to it using pl/sql and javascript but as soon as the next page is requested the value is cleared.
    Any Ideas how to get around this????
    Thanks in advance

    I suppose your login page contains a process like this:
    BEGIN
       wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login (p_uname           => v ('P101_USERNAME'),
                                       p_password        => :p101_password,
                                       p_session_id      => v ('APP_SESSION'),
                                       p_flow_page       => :app_id || ':1'
       :t_random_number := :p101_random_number; /* this is something I added to my code */
    END;Now, if you go to this page:

    please note the random number assigned to you. Once you login, the same number will appear on the page 1 (near to the top).
    So, that is how you could solve your problem.
       :t_random_numberis an application item.

    Try clearing your cache, [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How to clear the cache Instructions here]. Then, try going to [https://accounts.google.com Google Accounts]. If there is currently an account singed in, sign out, then back in. After that, try going to Google Adwords.
