Sites using TALEO for job searches no longer works in 19, worked in last official 18 release

Company websites which use the TALEO job search/apply app/site, no longer work right in 19, they worked fine in 18.xx. Specially, the job search function does not work right when entering the TALEO job search parameters then hitting SEARCH FOR JOB does nothing. AN example site (which does not require registration) is https://nielsen.taleo.net/careersection/3/jobsearch.ftl?lang=en. If I make selections for JOB FIELD and/or LOCATIOn then hit SEARCH FOR JOB, nothing happends. Sites using TALEO worked fine in the last offical 18.x release. TALEO worksd fine in IE 7&Chrome 25.
Clearing the cache does not change behavior. Finally did a full FF reset--no change.
WIN XP SP3 | Dell Dimension 4600 | 1.2 G RAM

I am running Firefox version 19.0.2 and I have the same problem. I am able to filter using Internet Explorer which I really don't like. Rather than users having to figure out why this isn't working either Taleo needs to fix their scripts or a fix needs to happen in Firefox.

If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Your nano would really have nothing to do with it at that point. It is really something between iTunes and whatever server out there on the internet that it is trying to connect to for the update.
Try posting this one in the iTunes forum, they might have a solution for you.

OK, might want to make that change in your profile to get faster answers to future questions. If you leave the "iOS6" that's now in your profile, helpers will have to ask the OS question every time you post, slowing your getting help you deserve. Note the level of detail I was able to cram in my Equipment profile (at the bottom of this post).
I don't have 10.7 on any of our Macs but I suspect a system update may have removed that iPhoto option. However, you can still get to your iPhoto files if 10.7 is anything like 10.8.
In System Preferences > Desktop and Screensaver > Screensaver tab, there is a "Source" dropdown menu direct under the preview pane. Click it and select "Choose Folder..":
That gives you a dialog box that should point to your "Pictures" folder. Within that is your iPhoto library. Select it and see if that gives you access to your images.

How to use Javascript for anchors as I cant get it to work at all?

I am currently trying to build my own web site using iweb 08. I am a total newby so this question is for anyone who knows about javascript, particularly Cyclosaurus. I have tried in vain to use Cyclosaurus's javascript for anchors in my FAQ's page via html snippet. I must be doing something wrong, so can you help?
1). I copied and pasted the javascript anchors code into a html snippet
2). I changed the, anchors.push(3146) to no's 1, 2 and so on for each question
3). I then changed 'change this to your page' to faq's
4). I don't understand anything else from this point so please can you help to rectify my total incompetence and explain it in detail.
This is what i have tried to do.... anchors.push(1);//faq's. followed by my question? y position
Is this correct or have I gone totally wrong

I have finally published my site and yes Cyclosaurus anchors javascript worked great. It won't work when you are working on your site pages, not until you publish your site.
Follow Cyclosaurus instructions above, it was after where I got stuck. So this is for the many people who need very clear instructions from start to finish. Otherwise you can spend countless hours scrolling through these forums. Here is what you have to do next:
Each question must be numbered. So your first question would be numbered "1" and so on. Highlight your question at the top of your page. Open inspector and go into hyperlink
Tick enable hyperlink box and select link to an external page. Delete everything but http:// and type in #1
Repeat this for each question - next question would be #2 and so on
Remember to hyper link all your "back to top" or "Top" as #0
That's it, your good to go to go

I use Google for my searches. I type a subject in the bar it gives me the normal huge choice of sites. When I click on my choice on the list, I am taken to odd sites, but if I return and click again on my choice, it connects OK. Can anyone tell my why?

TREX helps only if you want to enable full text search for long texts and attachments in contracts.You need to instal the trex server and configure the settings:-
1.create RFC destination of type TCP/IP server using TCODE SM59
2.MAINTAIN ENTRY IN back end systems settings
3. Activate full text search y executing the program BBP_TREX_INDEX_ADMIN .

subtype usiness object :- cc for GOA or blank for operational contracts
Action for SRM TREX index :- select the appropriate value from search help . for example , you would specify A for the initial index generation.

Can somebody guide me on the benefits if we use TREX 7.1 with Embedded Search for PLM?
Following are our requirements, whether this will be met with TREX
1) Will the TREX help to search Cross u2013Objects with same names, for ex, if we search CCA, will it show all materials, BOM,s; Documents and Change Masters starting with CCA?
2) .Can we u201CSaveu201D the Search attributes or variants so that the same type of Search can be used again?
3).Can we give Boolean search or fuzzy search with AND and OR options?
4) .Can we search the fields mentioned in Long Text using TREX?

Flash Site; using DW for ftp; need flash player?

I did a site in Flash CS4. Using DW as my ftp. When I upload my index.html and go the domain it say i need to download the latest flash player, which i already have downloaded. Is something I am doing in DW or Flash that won't allow for the swf to render in the browser? I am new to both apps.

HD won't appear on Desktop and cannot use Find for HD searches

The HD icon disappeared from my Desktop last week and I cannot get it back using Finder Preferences. Also when I search with Find it cannot see anything on the HD although all applications etc are there and can be used. External HD icon and CDs etc. show up on desktop. Tried Disk Utility first Aid but still nothing. Other "dummy accounts" have same problem. Any ideas??? I'm stumped.

Try to use Headset for Skype on G5, but microphone does not work! Need help

I recently installed skype on my G5, bought a headset, can hear people talking to me, but nobody can hear me. It's not an USB or bluetooth headset, but with 2 plugins (sorry, i'm austrian...).
Does anybody know what setups to change that it works?
I try the system configuration and set up line in and line out...

I have used a headset with the 2 connections. In order to connect I use the Griffin iMic as my adapter. Every once in awhile I get the 2 plugs in backwards and have to switch them.

The other thing I have had happen is that my machine seems to auto mute when I switch things around. Sometimes I have had to go in to the System or program preferences to change the settings. For some reason the system has muted me or the program I am using did not keep the previous settings due to having the headset unplugged/replugged etc.

Painting GIF images/using JLabels for GIFs... Somehow, make it work!

Ok, I am basically making an arena for a local multiplayer game for my friends, and across the top of the screen is a title ... lets call the title "Game Title". The entire game is contained in 1 JFrame, including the title, sidebars, and the actual "game" part in the middle. I paint all of the objects in the game by painting them in the JFrame's Graphics when the paint() method is called.
Basically, the window looks like this:

Where the /\./\./\'s are animated flames. I have tried to just make them as ImageIcons in JLabels, but no matter what I paint() after the labels are added, the window looks like this:

Where the flames are animated, but the "background" is always gray. I then tried to paint them as Images (g.drawImage(new ImageIcon(url).getImage(),0,0,null), but that only leaves the first frame of the animated GIF (in other words, its not animated).
What do I do? I have been reading around the forums, but I cannot find a case where somebody needed the GIF inside a Component that they used for painting...

If you're going to paint use a graphic component to do your painting in and don't add any components to it. The 'paint' method in JFrame is called by swing to draw the JFrame and its components. Using it to do custom painting is tricky. You'll need to call 'super.paint' to allow the container to paint its children. See the method detail in the JFrame api (link is in the Container section of the api). Also check the 'paintComponent' and 'paint' methods in the JComponent api method details section.

I was reading an earlier post about upgrading to 10.9.2 and still using Office for Mac Excell 2004. Will Excell 2004 work with OS 10.9.2 or is there an Open Office I can use?

I currently have 10.9.2 and just purchased Office 365. The 365 won't work for what I want to do. Need to go backe to Excell 2004. Is there anyway to do this with my current OS? Need to interface with a Windows 2003 Excell user.

First, MS Office 2004 will not work on versions of OS X Lion or later including your 10.9.2. On Mavericks you need Office 2011.
Second, the difference between Excel formats in Office 2008/2011 vs. earlier versions of Excel is that Office 2008/20011 uses the ".xlsx" filetype but earlier versions including Windows Excel 2003 use the older ".xls" filetype. The older versions of Excel can't open the newer ".xlsx" filetype ... but there is a way you can exchange Excel files between the newer and older versions of Excel!
In Office 2008/2011 just SAVE AS Excel 97-2004 Workbook (.xls) if you need to use or exchange your Excel file with earlier versions of Excel, Windows or Mac. And, going the other way, Excel 2008/2011 can open and use the older .xls files just fine.

Websites that use Taleo search is not working

The search button on Taleo Website are not functioning. It used to work fine with Version 19. Taleo is used on allot on employment related websites. I'm wondering if this issue will be resolved with Firefox ? or should I go back using Version 19 ?

Your post indicates Firefox 20 (beta version). When you got it working in Firefox 19, was it the original Firefox 19.0 or the latest update, Firefox 19.0.2?
