Size in create

i have been trying to print front of greeting card about 10x15cm but all i get is a picture about 1to 2inches size i am using create photo is in card i run winxp home printer hp1310 series psc regards simon ps i use photoshop elements 3.0

Colin and Simon,
I think that the limitations of the Creations function for Cards in the Organizer may also be a consideration. It is not possible to expand the photo size larger than the white border frame of the Style that you chose for the card. I am in the USA and my dimensions are set for inches - my result of the actual photo size when the four fold card was printed was about 2 1/2 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches high.
Simon, is your photo size printed smaller than the white "frame" border within the card style with the baloons?

  • Page size printing problems with custom page size I created

I have created a custom page size (very small) for printing an advertise I had to print, and now after that operation all the pages I ask to print to any printer are automatically printed in that setup, and sometimes even if I change to A4 manually, the page changes but the borders of the page still remain the old one (result i can not print). How can I cancel the custom page size I created, so that my printers restart to print automatically in A4?

  • How can I remove the BootCamp partition? as the size i created ws too small to install MS Office on 64Bit Windows 8.1 on MacBook Pro (Aug'13)

How can I remove the BootCamp partition drive for Windows 8.1, as the size which I created was too small for me to install Microsoft Office onto Windows 8.1 64-BIt. The machine which I have is the MacBook Pro 13' inch purchased in August 2013.

Either use Paragon's CampTuneX to resize it or use Boot Camp Assistant to remove the partition and restore the drive to one partition. Then create a new, larger Boot Camp partition. This will remove/delete/erase your Windows system.

  • Maintaining original Word document paper size when creating a new form

I am creating a new form in Adobe LiveCycle using a template I created in Word.  The original form in Word is Legal size but when I change it to Adobe, it converts the form to Letter size.  How do I maintain the form in legal size?

in the hierarchy tab, select page 1 of master pages.  in the object tab for the master page you can select paper type, orientation, or if you have a custom page size you can define that as well.  hope this helps.

    3) How to give different names in 'Tag'?
    4) How to know actually, How much size can be distributed among user defined partitions?
    5) On solaris, How do we actually verify IF mirroring is in place?1) You create a really big slice and use soft partitioning. Otherwise 7 hard partitions are all you can assign.
    2) That's an alternate system partition. You can't touch it and there's only 2 cylinders in it anyway.
    3) There are only certain values that are legal. You generally don't adjust them.
    4) Slice 2 is the entire usable space. That tells you how much you can distribute among the 7 (0,1,3,4,5,6,7) partitions/slices available to you. In your case; that's about 137 GB.
    5) It isn't by default. You have to take positive actions with either Logical Volume Manager (aka Solstice Disk Suite for us old school guys) or some other form of volume manager. LVM is free with the OS and does a great job of mirroring the OS. I personally wouldn't use it for managing a form of disks; but it's perfect for the OS mirroring.

  • Content size when creating a PDF in Numbers for iOS

I want to create a PDF document from Numbers for iOS, but it will not allow me to center content on the page or resize it to take the whole page. I can do it if I try to print a document, I can adjust the size of my content, but if I just want to create a PDF, it makes my content small and all bunched up in the top left corner and the document does not look good.

I suspect that even if you could find the mapping information (pass as to where) it would simply tell you that Style A in Fm was mapped to Style B in Rh but not give you any information about how Style A was defined in Fm.
I think your only options are to create a CSS as you suggest or, as I would, create redefine the Word Style Mapping Template to suit. By going to Word first, you can edit the output for better page breaks and other tweaking you might want.

  • High resident memory size when creating in-memory db

Capsule summary: an in-memory db created with a cache size of 8 Gb reports a resident size of 2 Gb without any data stored in it.
    Details:
We have a need for creating an entirely "in-memory" database, i.e. without a backing file store. The application in question will be writing to and reading from the db frequently, and there is no need to incur the penalty of writing out to disk.
I read the white paper "Writing In-Memory Applications" published by Oracle, and modified our db creation code accordingly. More or less all I did was to allow "open" to be called with a NULL instead of file name.
This seems to work just fine, in that no file is created, and both writing and querying seem to work correctly. However, the resident memory size, even without anything written to the database, seems inordinately high. For example, if I set the cache size to be 8 Gb (the size of physical memory on my Linux FC11 machine), the resident size reported by "top" is 2.0 Gb:
    Tasks: 1 total, 0 running, 1 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
    Cpu(s): 0.7%us, 0.3%sy, 0.0%ni, 98.3%id, 0.6%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si, 0.0%st
    Mem: 8114752k total, 8054072k used, 60680k free, 45344k buffers
    Swap: 11717624k total, 204896k used, 11512728k free, 3977788k cached
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
    12827 rao 20 0 2243m 2.0g 9.9m S 0.0 26.0 0:01.53 pypix
Running strace on the process shows that there are three calls to mmap as soon as "open" is called, one of them being responsible for a majority of the allocation.
Is this expected behavior? The documentation explicitly states the following:
"... Note that the size you specify for your cache is actually a maximum size; DB will only use memory as required so if you specify a cache size of 1 GB but your data set is only ever 10 MB in size, then 10 MB is what the DB will use...."
This does not appear to be consistent with what I am seeing.
Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Default Storage versus Uniform size at creating Tablespace

anybody can explain if those two concepts mean same? in my practice, i need to dump all data from 9i to 10g database, in 9i a tablespace created by :
    CREATE TABLESPACE DATA_TS
DATAFILE '/opt/oracle/u01/data_04.dbf' SIZE 11M AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 1024K MAXSIZE UNLIMITED
    EXTENT MANAGEMENT DICTIONARY
    LOGGING
    DEFAULT STORAGE(INITIAL 112K
    NEXT 112K
    MINEXTENTS 1
    MAXEXTENTS 1017
    PCTINCREASE 0)
    ONLINE
    PERMANENT
    SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT MANUAL
so in 10g I created tblsp like:
    CREATE TABLESPACE DATA_TS
DATAFILE '/opt/oracle/u10/data_04.dbf' SIZE 11M AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 1024K MAXSIZE UNLIMITED
EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL UNIFORM SIZE 112K
    LOGGING
    ONLINE
    SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT MANUAL
    are they same?

    Hi,
    Two concepts are not same.
    Check this link:
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96521/tspaces.htm
Starting with Oracle9i, the default for extent management when creating a tablespace is locally managed. However, you can explicitly specify that you want to create a dictionary-managed tablespace. For dictionary-managed tablespaces, Oracle updates the appropriate tables in the data dictionary whenever an extent is allocated, or freed for reuse.

  • Incorrect page size when creating PDF from Excel 2013 (export and print)

I am in the USA so everything tends to default to 8½"x11" ... but I created a document in Excel with A size settings. I have attempted to export it to PDF with every setting I can find set to A4 and I have attempted to print the document to PDF again with every setting I can find set to A4 (page size, layout - advanced - paper/output - paper size - A4) with all scaling turned off and yet when I open the finished document in Acrobat XI Pro (with all updates installed) the document properties lists it as 8½"x11". I don't see any resize document settings in Acrobat or any other reason it would be anything but A4 in Acrobat's settings, and I've even had someone in our design department that uses Acrobat extensively look at my steps and they don't see where I'm making any mistakes.
Does anyone here have any suggestions?

Notice in the illustration the button Page setup.
Click on that and see if you can set printer from there.
I don't know whether this is in the PC version.
This is an adobe dumb idea inserting a Print menu in between a print menu and the printer, and not allowing the Printer to do the control Setup itself.
One of them ideas that came up when a developer was sitting around twidling his thumbs, and saying hey lets do this.  Another idea That comes along with this, is the inserted property feature called simplex printing. If you want to print a PDF duplex you can setin printer till cows come home and you blue in the face. Won't print Duplex.  You have to Click Propties and Locate the command simplex, and turn off.

  • Incorrect A4 size when creating print preset for adobe PDF?

    Hi
I've run into a strange "issue", which I'm trying to understand.
If I create a new document in InDesign CS4 (or CS5) in papersize A4, the size is obviously 210mmx297mm. All is good.
If I want to print this document as a postscript document, to a file, I create a new Preset.
    1) File->Print Presets->Define
    2) New
    3) Printer: Adobe PDF
Now if I select the Setup option the paper size says A4, but the size is: 209,98mm x 297,039.
Anybody care to explain why it's not a "correct" A4 size?
    Thanks in advance!
    Ruvan

Guys, I really appreciate the time and effort.
I haven't done the math, but I think its still a little strange that the width is a little too small and the height a little too big.
Anyway, what I also think is a bit strange is that if I select a real printer physical printer, not Adobe PDF, then the sizes are all correct.
    Thanks

  • Size, resoultion, creating larger graphic

Hi. I posted a msg about this a little while ago about a much larger graphic that I am going to ask about now, but if I design a 30x36 poster, am i able to create this at 1/3rd the size at 300dpi & have the printer output it at 300%?
I am wondering if it will maintain the quality or if I should just design it in PS at 30x36 at 100%. Working in PS 7.0.
Does this method of designing at 1/3rd the size work with smaller graphics like say letter size or something also?
    Thanks.
    Jules

    >1/3rd the size at 300dpi
If you can keep vector elements in your design as vector, 100 effective ppi will be fine. If you cannot, I would shoot for 300 ppi (meaning 30 x 36 @ 300 ppi).
    >Does this method of designing at 1/3rd the size work with smaller graphics like say letter size or something also?
Sure. But why would you work this way is one question.

  • Calculate PSAPTEMP size before creating aggregate?

    Hi Experts,
While i am creating aggregate job is ended with error.
    SQL Error: 12801
I checked in SM21 and meaning of error is "Overflow of database objects " so while creating aggregate PSAPTEMP become overflow.
My question is how much exact size it requires while creating aggregate, now we our PSAPTEMP table space size is 10 GB.
How to calculate the required size to increase PSAPTEMP tablespace?
    Thanks &&& Regrs,
    KD.

    hi,
PSAPTEMP is primarily used  temporarily to store results of the aggregation and final data is typically stored in a user tablespace. So if your PSAPTEMP tablespace is too small you can only increase its size.
i think that will solve your purpose
Also, there can be a scenario when are unable to do the same, so you need to rearrange your aggregates.
In that case the aggregates will be activated. First the aggregates with more data  and then with less data
generally PSAPTEMP tablespace should be at least twice as large as the largest index.
please refer SAP Note 659946 and 600513 for more details

  • Minimal image size to create signature?

    Hi,
I just noticed, that there seems to be a lower threshold for image sizes, you must have to generate a signature.
By accident I just tryed to load some smilies into my database and to generate a signature.
    I got the following error:
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-29400: Data Cartridge-Fehler
IMG-00870: Höhen-/Breitenverhältnis oder Bildgröße nicht unterstützt
    ORA-06512: in "ORDSYS.ORDIMGSIG_PKG", Zeile 0
    ORA-06512: in "ORDSYS.ORDIMAGESIGNATURE", Zeile 90
    ORA-06512: in Zeile 2
The images where about 15*15 pixels. It isn't a problem for me, but do you know where is the threshold for the size?
    Thanks, Christian

Minimum size for signature generations is 21 pixels wide by 21 pixels high.
If you really need to do this, you can upscale your image.
We will consider documenting this minimum size.

I have a large html file that I need to convert to a pdf. I am able to open the html in acrobat and save as pdf, but I cannot find where to adjust the page size. When I save the html in acrobat, the saved file is still a single page, but when I open the page in reader, then there are page breaks.
How do I adjust the page size and create a single page document?
There is also a header and footer line that I don't want. How do I get rid of those?

When you open the window for create PDF from web, select the settings. You can adjust the size and header/footer there.
