Size of Photoshop screen so small when downloaded through Firefox

On the search bar the max/min icons are small and I would like to have them larger. Also the Photoshop download I am getting, all the tool icons etc., are all very small and need to be bigger. The whole workspace configuration is small.

Is there a way to "Save As" when downloading with Firefox?

I want to be able to "Save As" when downloading with Firefox. The only options I am given is to Save or Open. All the previous questions I have seen deal with being able to save to a certain location, and that I can easily set in Firefox. What I want is to be able to change the filename, so if it goes to download "abc123.pdf" I can rename it to "123abc.pdf" when it downloads.
We use a web based application that I have to pull down pdf charts multiple times every day, but the problem is when you go to download a chart, every one is the same name. I can't just save it to the default directory since it will overwrite the previous one or just append a (1) or something. What I have to do now is use the Open option and have a pdf reader open it, then save from the pdf reader giving it a unique filename, which is extra steps that I do not have to do when using IE, Opera, etc. since I can do a Save As from those and rename it before it downloads.

Welcome to the 'wonderful' world of HTML5 e-learning.
In my view, from the issues I am seeing everywhere, HTML5 output from rapid e-learning tools such as Captivate is not ready for the kind of mobile device e-learning you want to develop.
Sorry to be pessimistic, but you may need to consider going back to the drawing board and coding it from the ground up.

Why can I not print out a pdf-file (train ticket NS) when downloaded with Firefox? (file says (SECURED)

When ordering and paying a train ticket by internet they send a pdf-file, which one must download and print. When downloading this with Firefox (from my e-mail account) the pdf-file says (SECURED) and I cannot print out the ticket (pdf-file). (Adobe program stops automatically).
When downloading this same pdf-file in Safari, I encounter no problems.

Current Firefox versions have enabled a built-in PDF Viewer that doesn't have all features that other PDF readers like the Adobe Reader have or may not function properly otherwise.
You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) from Preview in Firefox to use the Adobe Reader application or set to "Always Ask" in "Firefox > Preferences > Applications".

All my downloads show insignia of internet explorer even when downloaded in firefox,WHY?

i only use mozilla firefox. Everything i download in firefox, shows the logo of internet explorer and not mozilla firefox. why so? how do i overcome this.

You may have to set another browser temporarily as the default browser to make Firefox "redo" the default browser settings.

Files I download through Firefox delete themselves

Twice now I have downloaded files to work on through firefox. The first time I downloaded an excel file, worked on it for several hours, saved, and then found it was completely erased from my hard drive with no record that such a file existed. The second time this happened it was a word document in which the same thing has happened. The files also fail to show in my firefox download history. I need to know if there is a way to recover those files.

Did you download and saved the files or did you open them in an application (Excel)?
In case of the latter the files would be saved in the Windows %temp% folder and files in that folder can be removed at any time, so if they are no longer there then that has happened.
If you have saved the files then your anti-virus or other cleanup or security software may have removed them.

Screen display garbled when downloading a file

In FF 5 I often get a garbled screen display when dowloading a file (by garbled I mean that the display is broken into numerous rectangles; the display appears to be similar to that of a driver/monitor/card not being compatible). The display will sometimes correct itself if I minimize and then maximize FF, but not always.
The problem does not occur in IE, Opera, Safari, Chrome, nor in any other program.
Could a plugin possibly be the cause? I can work around the problem simply by not using FF for downloads, but I wanted to pass along the information if it might be a bug in FF5.

Thanks for the info! Yea, I thought my video card was dying when I first saw it. The driver is the latest, and everything else looks ok too.
Over the past couple of hours I disabled all plug-ins and extensions, and still had the problem. I chose to down-grade to verison 4 which now works fine. Version 3 was also a good choice but I use the HTML validator that requires version 4 (world's absolute best add-on ever for my use).
I'm guessing that my video card isn't playing nice with FF5, so until I upgrade the card I will stick with FF4. I installed a new theme and now I'm happier than ever with FF. :)

I need to change the Firefox browser size. It went from the default size...and now it's the full size of the screen with small letters. How do I repair such an issue?

Smaller letters and takes up the entire screen..how I change it back to a default size...back to 100%?

Error "Screen output are too small" when looping through internal table!

I have a huge internal table with some 79000 records and while looping through them and doing some other processing inside the loop, I am getting an error "Screen output are too small"! Screen belome small when I set scrolling mode = both?

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement in whicn a screen called "REVIEW" have 50+ fields ,User to view all the fields in the screen ,Screen should contain the scroll bar.
So I declare the Scrolling mode property = Both ,but now screen is viewing only one field with the scroll bar .
I want the screen should be display the fileds that fit to the screen with the scroll bar, So that user can scroll and see the remaining fields.
IS there any way do it.

If the number fields are more in the view a scroll bar automatically appears .
in my application i have 25-30 fields and i have placed all of them in the transparent container and the scrolling mode is none.
I didnt do any settings.
the scroll bar has come automatically.
where are all your fields placed.
in a group or in transparent container?

PC Powers off when downloading through iTunes

This is totally weird, and 100% replicatable.
I initially discovered this when I got support to help me recover some lost music. It showed up in my downloads section. It started to download, then instantly my PC is powered off.
No blue screen, no error of any kind. One second, happy iTunes progress bars, the next second, powered off. This is a Laptop in a dock using AC power, so it's bypassing battery power too. It just clicks and is powered off.
I reinstalled iTunes and was able to download everything. I assumed the issue was resolved until I bought something new and it happened again during the initial download of that new album. Now it's happening everytime I try to download, new or recovered purchases. I've yet to be able to download the last album I paid for.
Help?

Since you're getting that when doing Store stuff, if you've got a Radeon-based display adaptor or video card, I'd try updating your video drivers as per:

Websites downloaded through Firefox only fill up about 60% of my 23" monitor screen. I downloaded your add on, but do not see it anywhere or know how to use it.

Chase.com, Money.net, AOl are centered ion the middle of my monitor with about 4" of white space on each side of the image.
When sites are accessed through IE, this does not happen.

Umask wrong, when downloading something firefox sets own umask instead of umask from directory. This wasn't so before today (I think)

When saving a file (download) in the download directory witch has username x and group y set with stickybits on (ubuntu 13.04) firefox saves the file with user and groupname x and permisions 0600. I have a program looking automatically for files in my download folder and it does that with the group permissions (y). Before today that always worked but now something changed... update?...
If I create a file myself in the Download directory it takes the x/y user/group and 664 rights (umask 0002). What changed in firefox that it doesn'r respect the umask of the folder anymore?

This problem is back in version 26!
