Skin doesn't automatically load
I'm having a problem with the selected flash skin automatically
loading when the help files are moved to my organization's server.
Instead of automatically loading, the default page appears with a "show" link
at the top of the page. If you click this link the skin will load.
Does anyone know why the skin might not load automatically. The system has been set to Auto-Manage Flash security.

This would seem that you are linking directly to a topic and not the FlashHelp Start page.
Examine the Single Source Layout properties and note what is listed in the first dialog. Link to the HTML page listed there.

Flash in Explorer doesn't automatically load
I have inserted a flash element onto the main page of a site I'm working on - it starts automatically in Foxfire, but not under Explorer (shows a blank window with an x). It will only start if I select the pop up warning bar at the top and allow scripts to run. Is there a work around for this in the code?
Obviously many other sites I look at automatically load the Flash elements. Strangely, when I did a site in Expression and included Flash, it was fine.
Any help would be appreciated.If you've tried all the suggestions already given and it still doesn't work, then you are best to upload your pages and provide a URL, so people can take a look in case it's something in the code causing the issue :-)

When I open a tab, it doesn't automatically load the new page. What's wrong?
Exactly what the question states.
When I open a new tab by right clicking a link and saying "open in a new tab", it doesn't load. It pops up a new tab, and the web address is in the address bar, but it doesn't load the page. I have to manually tell it to load the page.

for example there's a link a friend sent me in my e-mail and I right-click on it, and select "Open in a new tab" it pops open like normal, except it does not load the page, I have to click the box and press enter to even get it to load it. In previous versions I have never had that problem, current version of Mozilla Firefox I am using is version 4, previous was 3.6 hope this helps figure this out.
You can middle-click a link to open the link in a new tab.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

My itunes doesn't automatically load
My itunes has suddenly stopped oping when I plug my phone in and the check box for having it open automatically is grayed out. Any ideas?
Had the same problem. Do just as Chris said above, but before you quit iTunes click "Apply" in the lower right corner. When you start up again and re-check the box to automatically open iTunes and hit Apply, I got the alert that iTunes had to launch the iTunes Helper. I selected that, and we are back to normal...i.e. iTunes opens automatically when I plug the iPhone in.

To log in on a public network without a password-key (not secured), a user login is required.
After connecting to the network, the browser, upon opening it, normally automatically loads the login page, in order to enter a username and password and connect to the internet.
Firefox doesn't find the login page automatically, so I need to switch to google Chrome just to log in to the network.
Does this have anything to do with user settings in the options of firefox?
Any ideas?

I have had this ongoing problem. I cannot get images to automatically load in mail. Instead I always have to click the load images button. I click on a message, click load images, the images load. I click on another message, then back to the message with the images and have to reload them.
In preferneces I have turned the View>Load remote HTML images on and off and on again, and rebotted multiple times. It makes no difference. The images do not load.
I checked Little Snitch, but all ports are open.
My firewall is set to let everything connect to mail. Even just turning off the firewall does not solve the problem.
I tried removing com.apple.mail.plist but that did not work either.
This problem occurs in Mail on a MacBook Pro and on a MacBook Air both using the newest version of OS Mountain Lion. The problem happened in OS Lion as well.
The senders are in my contacts, so that doesn't help either.
This is not an issue with the serve sending the images. The images load if I click load images. They just will not automatically laod.
I've read tons of posts but no one seems to know how to solve the problem.

This is not a problem specific to Lion, but most recent OS X versions. Regularly I receive email formatted as HTML, which includes JPEG images embedded within them. These images are technically attachments, and as such, Mail.app displays them as a placeholder. Other mail apps will display these images inline, regardless of them being an attachment, remote image or otherwise.
How can I make these images load automatically?
MacBook, Unibody, Mac OS X (10.7), 750GB, 7200RPM WD HDD, 4GB RAM

No-one replied, but I found a solution on another board. Run Terminal (do a Spotlight search if you don't know where to find this), and type:
defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool false
This will force Mail not to disable inline attachment viewing. Obviously, to reverse this, simple replace 'false' at the end with 'true'.

You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[How to set the home page]].
There are steps in that article to reset your homepage preferences to default. I would try that first to clear out any strangeness. If that works, you can try setting your homepage again to your personal preference.

Automatically load web page when select topic
I've been able to perform this functionality in RoboHelp (winhelp), but have not yet figured out how to do this in RoboHTML.
Upon topic load I would like a web page to display within the topic pane. In RoboHelp, I did this by creating a html jump from the topic heading. It looked like this:
JumpHtml(`http://www.cerner.com')
Does anyone know how to do this in RoboHTML? It doesn't seem that I'm able to format the topic heading to automatically load a web page when the topic loads.Hi there

My iCloud account name was inputted incorrectly during initial phone set up. I created another iCloud account name but it is still the old and wrong iCloud account that automatically loads whenever I access the iCloud tab on my phone. How do I replace it my new and correct account name?

Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > here to share purchased music, apps and books.
Other than that each of you should use your own Apple ID for iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, Game Center, etc. -
SAP system doesn't automatically start after restart (but manual start ok)

We've got a new production line of SAP EP 7.0 systems, which have CI on HP-UX and DIs on windows. The version is NW2004s SPS09.
What we see is that after a restart of the windows servers (usually because of windows patching), the SAP system doesn't automatically start up. It doesn't start up if I restart the SAP<SID>_<instance> service either.
However, I've got no problem starting the system with the MMC.
Any idea what I am missing here? is it as simple as a profile parameter ?
As far as I can see the profile used seem ok.
After a restart of the windows server the following files have log entries in the c:\usr\sap\<SID>\J<instance>\work folder

The windows event log have the application events
(first)SAP Service SAP<SID>_<instance> successfully started.
(at the same time)

(note that this doesn't happen for all systems which have this problem, for other there is no entry like this)
I see no failed login attemps in the security event log, but see the that a login is performed for SAPService<SID>.
Since it also fails to automatically startup when I restart the service, I am able to use filemon to see what happens at a file level. Here I see that it can access the shared file system without any problems, and can read the profile and everything.
MOM is running on the server and gets some Access denied errors since it doesn't have access to the shared file system, but I don't think that matters.

i applied a kernel patch and when i tried to start the services . there was no problem with the oracle services and saposcol but the service sap<sid>_nr did not start .
when i went to check the error in work folder ..
it say " SapSSLinit failed => https support disabled .
then i tried to start sap from cmd pmt . din`t work .
is there a way to statrt this ...

How do I use the location bar to automatically load the top google hit?
I recently re-installed Firefox 3.6.12 and created a new profile because my old one was malfunctioning. Before, when I typed something in the location bar (say "nyt") it would automatically load the first Google hit (so I didn't have to type "nytimes.com"). Now, it simply performs a Google search without loading the first page hit. I loved being able to save time this way. How do I restore this feature?

Bug Report: The keyboard focus doesn't automatical...
Bug Report: When a conversation window opens, the focus doesn't automatically land in the chat entry text field.
Since the new interface for Skype was introduced officially in Skype 7.0, there is a bug with the system/keyboard focus for a new conversation window. When Skype is in "Split Window View" and each new conversation automatically pops up in a separate window, the system/keyboard focus doesn't land in the chat entry edit field. Instead, the user has to press Shift+TAB a couple of times, to move it there and reply to the chat message received. This especially problematic for screen reader users, who rely on keyboard navigation. This mainly occurs when a new conversation is started with an incoming message, but it sometimes occurs when moving the focus out of that conversation window and later back in it again (while it is still opened).
Steps to reproduce it:
1. From "View" menu, activate the "Split Window View", if it is not already enabled.
2. From Tools -> Options -> IM & SMS -> IM settings, enable "Open a new window when I receive a new message in Split Window View", if it is not already enabled.
3. From Tools -> Options -> Advanced, activate "Enable accessible mode", if it is not already enabled.
4. Activate the "Save" button, to save the changes.
5. Close all windows, related to Skype. You may keep only the main window opened.
6. Tell someone to send you a chat message. When the message arrives, Move the system focus to the conversation window in question, preferably with Alt+TAB. The system/keyboard will not land in the chat entry edit field as it did in Skype 6.21 and earlier and as it should by default, but in some unknown place in the window.
7. Move the system/keyboard focus in the chat entry edit field and keep it there.
8. Switch to another window, preferably from another application.
9. With Alt+TAB, switch back to the window of the opened Skype conversation. There is a chance that the system/keyboard focus will not land in the chat entry edit field as it did in Skype 6.21 and earlier and as it should do by default, but again in some unknown place in the conversation window. But that is harder to reproduce.
Test environment:
- Operating system: Windows 8.1 Pro N, 64-bit, in Bulgarian with all locale settings set to "Bulgarian".
- Skype version: 7.0.0.102 for Desktop.This is a known problem, but Skype have not given us an estimated time for a fix.
Traditionally, Skype updates have been roughly monthly, so we are due a new version sometime soon. Many of us here are hoping that is has a bunch of fixes for the UI, the focus problem being one of them.

I do not wish Firefox Start Page to automatically load when I turn on my computer. the help I sought gave suggestion(s) for a desktop computer to go to start menu and run a system configuration to deselect Firefox as startup - I have a Macbook Pro laptop and haven't been able to figure out where I can do the same - need assistance please
Look in System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items and remove Firefox from that list.
