Skip in ALV
Hi everyone,
In my report i have have to display date.
If the date is ' 99991231' i have to skip one line.
In normal report we can do this using Skip stmt.
Is it possible in ALV. If so how to do?

My first question is do you want to show this record in your ALV or not ,if not
clear that final internal table and APPEND
if you want to show this record and a blank line after that
then put a flag at that condition. If that conditions satisifies then Flag = 'X'
Append statement of the internal table
clear .
if flag = 'X'
clear final internal table
append and again clear the internal table.

I dont think you would be able to skip the ALV output using SUBMIT. However try changing the value of sy-lsind after the submit statement.
SUBMIT RMVKON00
AND RETURN EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY.
sy-lsind = sy-lsind - 1.
If that doesnt work then try using JOB_START JOB_SUBMIT, JOB_CLOSE...

Skip "Print ALV list" pop up while saving ALV as PDF
Dear experts,
I am converting my ALV list into PDF.
im using
CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF
and
GUI_DOWNLOAD
But it pops up a screen asking the default printer. What parameters do i need to pass to CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF so that I can skip the pop up?
I have already tried passing --

Hi experts,
I am having one requiment i am creating one alv report whre i am displyaing ALV grid. So i hav some fields such as org. unit, personal no, position and job id.
so my requiment is i am haivng no of organiztional units i which there are no of peronnal nos and thir postion and job id.
so after completing of each org. i need to count the no of personal no.( here peronal no shows no of persons in that org. unit) so i need to count and display the no of persons in that org unit before staring of the next org. unit. and also i need to show the job id. job id is comman for all in that org. unit.
i hv to show one row at the end of each org unti showing cout of no of person and the job id.
just look at the format i needed.

I have made ALV report in which user wants one blank line after each row.
How to skip one line after each row in ALV ?

It is really a typical requirement.
There is a solution to that.
In the internal table that you are passing to the function module, append a blank line to that itself.
Like:
LOOP AT itab INTO wa.
APPEND wa TO itab3.
CLEAR wa.
APPEND wa TO itab3.
ENDLOOP.
REFRESH itab.
itab[] = itab3[].
But remember not to do sorting after that or not to pass the sorting table parameters.
If you have an extra line at the bottom you can delete that by reading the number of lines through the describe statement and delete the last row of the table.
Try this hiope this will work.

Skipping ALV Grid and moving into Print Preview
Hi Friends,
I am using ALV Grid Display, and created an ALV Layout which gives multiple lines output in Print Preview.
Now I do not want ALV Grid Output. I need to directly see the print preview, by skipping the grid output.
Any ideas?

Skipping domain errors in editable ALV
Hi Gurus,
Have a concern wrt an editable ALV.
I have an editable ALV in which a field's(Chain ID is the name of the field) domain has
fixed intervals. The fixed interval is defined as:
T000000000 TZZZZZZZZZ
S000000000 SZZZZZZZZZ
Which means that the values for this field can start only with T or S. In the ALV, for this
field I may have blank values getting displayed. If I enter a valid value in the ALV then
its ok but when I delete the same value the ALV protocol shows an error 'Enter a valid
value'. The system is interpreting the value to be 'entered' in the ALV as 'space' as its
not valid as per the fixed intervals. BUt this actually should not happen because I am just
undoing my change. Can anyone suggest a way so that this validation is skipped and the ALV thus can accept initial value?

If you mean that among other things I need to delete that message from the protocol then in that case the changed value strangely does not get deleted. It comes back to the value which has been put before deleting it...

ALV Totals , Subtotals for a particular field in ALV Grid report
Hi,
I have an issue in ALV totals and subtotals.
Scenario is like this.
i have a vendor data to be pulled out of SAP and to be shown in the form of report.
i am populating all the data and doing do_sum based on Vendor ( has expansin & collapse option ) and display the number of reports .

but my problem is in the same report i have a date field .
if i have a five vendors created on 03/03/2008. in the same report for the date field having ( expansion & collapse ) , when i expand based on that date can i be able to sum up all the vendors created on 03/03/2008 and display in the same report along with the vendor count.

Hello everyone,
I have arequiment where in i need to call and run fbl3n from a alv list.
I already builded the alv list which contains 3 different G/L account numbers ,company code(same for all) and date field.
Now When i click ( I made the G/l account as Hotspot) on G/L, it must populate G/L Account and company code(on fbl3n screen) i in G/L account selection screen and also select the open item radio button and also populate Open at key date field with date in alv report.

You have to handle the user-click on the field G/L account like this.
Here i assume that
- the output table you are passing to alv FM is git_alvtab and it is define globally.
- the G/L account fields in this table is SAKNR
- the company code field in this table is BUKRS.
Keep in mind that when you call FBL3N, you need to pass both G/L account and Company code. That is the reson the below given code first set both the value and then call the transaction FBL3N.

First try with ALV Grid and Abap Objects
Hi,
this is my first try to write a simple report which just reads a textfile and display it in an ALV Grid. As a basis, I used some examples from SDN, but it did not work as expected
I would like just to use a docking container. I do not need a separate area for the ALV Grid. The report gives no syntax errors, but it just display the report title, nothing else. SAP R/3 Release is 4.7. Below is the source code of the report. Any idea what is missing?

BUT, I'm not really sure, whether this is a good (correct) design. The report works the following way:
1. Read planning data form text file into internal table
2. Display the internal table
3. Convert the data and display the converted result
4. Post the converted data to the system
5. Display log with messages
The main thing is, I would like to know, do i really need two dynros, to display the two different internal tables or is it possible just to use one ALV-Grid? I was not able to find another solution. Any comment or help to the report is appreciated.

Coloquei all the code, I believe for better clarification. When clico in the field i_ekpo-ebeln in the report is called transaction ME23 c/o GRID this functioning normally, but with the reports List and Hierarquico it does not happen the same and it prints in the baseboard the message "Invalid Function". when standard use buttons, functions of course.
obs.: I had that to create a SET Pf-status for each type of report pos I wanted that when clicar in the field box and clicar in the button "TO PRINT REPORT" it printed sapscript. How I make to solve such problem?
