Skip lot lot identification in QA32 Report

Hi All,
We have Observed below deviation in SAP skip lot summary report. The lot of part # A2Cxxxxxx received on xx.xx.2009 against GRIR # 5000xxxxxx was cleared as Skip Lot & even on the inspection plan it is printed as Skip Lot. But in the report generated using QA32, this part is specified as Check lot (i.e no 'X' mark for this lot).
If the part is cleared under skip lot, it should be identified with 'X' mark in QA 32 report.
Help me in resolving this issue.

New lot not appearing in qa32 - v urgent

Hi all,
I have an urgent issue to resolve. we have developed a report that shows those batches
-for which UD has been done 8 days before but no despatch till date OR
-for which no UD has been done and date of production is 8 days before from today.
User wants that a new lot for above batches should appear for UD again in qa32.
For this i have defined procedure as:
1. Run REPORT Which will identify batches older than 8 days (from the days of production or last UD date).
2.Go to QA07 Enter material codes, Batch numbers, and plant and select the option of Block Batch at lot creation.This will transfer all the mentioned batches to blocked stock and create an inspection lot automatically.simultaneously an inspection lot will start appearing in transaction QA32, against this batch for inspection.
Now the issue is that after QA07, I can see in mb52 that stock of the batch move to restricted, but no inspection lot appears in qa32. a new inspection lot should appear in qa32.
any ideas ? have i missed anything? i have also done changes in inspection plan,
cant figure out what i missed. pls respond.

Let me simplify my question:
i have some batches in system for which UD had been done 8 days
before but no despatch has been done against those batches.User
want to give UD again for those batches.
what i advised him to change the inspection plan of those
materials by putting '9' in 'usage' and '4'in 'status' fields in
qp01 and then go to qa07 and enter material codes, Batch
numbers, and plant and select the option of Block Batch at lot
creation.The batches automatically transferred to blocked stock.
Now the issue is that after batches transferrence to block stock,
new lot should appear in qa32 but its not appearing.any ideas??
Have I missed any thing? Kindly give a prompt reply.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

DMR for skipping inspection lots

Hi friends,
I am new to QM. I want to create DMR for skipping four lots after one inspected lot.
Can you please tell me, configuration steps reqd.

Dear as per my understanding give the exact material code,if batch managed give the batch also,give the lot created date etc and again check in QA32 as you saying you can able to access inspection lot through QA02 then it must be visible in QA32 also.
Select the all inspection lots radio button in QA32 if still you couldn't able to find the lot in QA32 as UD might have already done.

Skip Inspection LOT

Dear Gurus,
suppose one material having QM activate,all the processes have been carried out on regularbasis.
now if a vendor supplies material with no rejection last three months,system should skip inspection lot
material should post the stock to unrestricted not in QC. stock
is it possible in SAP

Keep in mind that dynamic modification is not time driven. It is lot driven. You cannot specify any set times.
The only time you can specidy a number of days is for the reset value. The DMR gets reset if NO lots are created in a given time. Each time you get a new lot, the reset date is recalculated.

Inspection lot not appearing in QA32

Dear Experts,
We have transfered a batch from a storage location of one plant to the storage location of another plant through movement type 909 with all require datas entered and saved the transaction . But while we checked in MB51 and QA32 , no material document or a Inspection lot for stock transfer not appearing.
When checked for the logs Message QA 150 appearing for ' Errror inserting QALS as update was terminated ' . What to do ?

Is 909 is SAP's standated Mvt type?
Check the setting for this mvt type in QCC0->Qulity inspection->Inspection for goods Mvt.--->Inspection lot origine & Deactivate Quality inspection.
I have a suggesion.for transfering Material from one plant to other SAP has own Mvt type:301(single step--->Without purchse Order).You can active 08 inspection type for Material at receiving plant.It will create a lot at receiving plant.
In addition to this 351& 352 are used when purchse order(STO) is there.

Skip inspection lots

Hi All,
Can anybody please guide me abt Skip lots and automatic usage decion.
According to what I have understood,if i activate Skip lots and automatic UD tick in QM view of Materail Master and keep the characterstics in Inspection plan as optional charracteristics,Automatic UD will be made for the lot after particular time lapse (time maintained in Customising) and stock posting of lot will be done to unrestricted stock
My doubts are-
Is result recording required?
When will the lot have stats as SKIP?
Are there some more conditions for SKIP lots?
Please guide and also correct me if I am wrong

It is not mandetory to do RR for SKIP lots
My scenario is that my client does not want to deactivate the inspection type in setup but does not want inspection for a particular material to happen for next 4 months.
Best sloution will be to use Quality Info Record for the same.
As you aware that Quality Info Record is Vendor-Material-plant combination.
So in QI01-->You can Maitain Relese Date: -->This will be 4 months Hence date.
& In Inspection control of QInfo record you can maintain "No Inspection"
This will put material to Unrestricted use directly after GR made till valid date.
After that you can change the date.
or
Use DMR & in QDR3 you can maintain "Reset period " as 4 months.
this will reset the DMR & lots will come to Quality for inspection.
I hope this will add some value.

QM 'Skip' Inspection Lot Characteristics

Does anyone know where I would be able to find information on 'Skip' master inspection characteristics through an inspection lot? And, is it possible for a certain characteristic to skip on a scheduled interval as opposed to a characteristic that is skipped every time?

UD taken lots displayed wrongly in QA32&QA33

Hi QM Masters
THe problem is when we execute the QA32 & QA33 with the Selection Lots without Usage Decision the inspection lots with status UD(Usage Decision made) has also appear in the list.
How it is possible? Do I have anything in my configuration side?

I didnt select any selection profile while executing QA32&QA33 and I have selected "lots WIthout Usage Decision" in the List settings.But it displays Lots with system status UD also.How it is possible?

ITunes Skips, A lot

Everytime a new song starts playing, it starts to skip. THis happens whenever the name at the top changes to the album name or the artist name. What can I do to fix this?
Yes, I did read the FAQ about this and it didn't help.

I have no idea what this last update did, but it helped significantly! It still skips now and then but much much less than usual. However, for some reason itunes is kind of slow at responding now, but hey, northing's perfect.

Importing from Mbox skips over lots of messages

I've got an mbox file created with Thunderbird that I'm trying to import into Mail.
Some of the folders get imported OK, and others get created, but there are no messages in them. The strange thing is that the dialog box that shows the progress, shows me the subjects of the messages, so it knows they are there.
(The Mbox file was created by Thunderbird on a PC with mails from Microsoft Outlook. the PC Thunderbird looks fine. I cant get find how to get Mac Thunderbird to import them at all).
Version of Mail is 3.3
Any suggestions ?

How to skip aggregated Datastrings before the Intersection Report launched.

Hi there,
We are facing a issue during our monthly upload process, that is causing us to switch all the time the "Enable Intersection Validation" trigger.
Example:
We have two different Import DataStrings that are imported (different Accounts). The aggregated value of both strings is equal to zero.
Account     ICP     Amount
ABC     A     -40
XYZ     A     40
Actually both account are mapped to the same Target Account (example Asset_Cash), and the ICP information is mapped as well to the same Target ICP (T_A).
At the End FDM tries to upload agregated Value to
Account          ICP     Amount
Asset_Cash          T_A     0
Now the Asset_Cash does not allow Intercompany, and even that the Amount is Zero, the Validation Report is not sucessful, and if i disable it, im getting the error during the Export, as the System is telling me that the Target intersection is not valid.
Now, the solution to delete during the Event Script of the creation of the DAT the zero lines is not the one i would choose, as i need the intersection validation report.
So that means i need to skip them after the mapping and aggregation, but before the intersection validation is done.
How can i solve this?
P.S.
I cant neither do it during the import, as the finance user is not used to change any import scripts.

Well, i wished it could be that simple. :)
In my Example, the "A" ICP is an correct ICP Member, and needs to be mapped to T_A, as it can be used aswell for ICP Accounts.
I cant neither use conditional mapping, as the combination of ICP Custom Dimension and so on would be to complicated.
At the end, im looking to change in a manner the system, so that he would skip the aggregated zero datastring before the intersection validation report is run.

As you can see sometimes Aperture needs a lot of space, to do just update. Can you imagine how much space it will need for whole backup?
+PS: Library size is around 70GB+
