Skip User Migration on Zero Touch Intallation

We're using MDT 2010 U1 integrated with SCCM 2012 SP1 (I think it's CU3 but I'm not 100% positive). I've created a ZTI for our lab machines so that our lab techs can launch and forget and don't have to touch every computer in the lab when they need refreshed.
Right now this is in development mode as I'm new to the department (coming from a lab tech position I was flabbergasted that they were making the techs go through every step of the UDI deployment when a system or lab needed imaged).
However, I've noticed that the USMT process is firing when launched out of Software Center and so some files are carrying over every time I test the ZTI on my test VM. Is there an easy way in either the customsettings.ini or in the task sequence itself to
skip the capture and restore of the user data as on a lab machine there's no need to save this data? I did try adding "SkipUserData=YES" and UserDataLocation=NONE
to the customsettings.ini but that just caused an error (reading the MDT help files pointed out that this is meant for an LTI deployment).

As SCCM is called as zero touch deployment method for operating system deployment. So please help me to clear my below doubts –
How SCCM take care of backup & restore of entire HDD, if SCCM does not take care of backup & restore of entire HDD then how we can say it is zero touch deployment method?

we can use USMT tool with SCCM to decide what we need to backup. I think good planned infrastructure will always have users data on file servers rather than on user's local system. please refer below few URLs for more information:

SCCM 2012 - 802.1x authentication for zero touch installation

Hi guys,
I'm setting up a demo environment for sccm 2012. Our customer has the requirement to enforce 802.1x authentication (username & password without certificates) on the network. So I need a 802.1x integration into the WinPE image, that clients can access
the install vlan instead of the guest vlan during the zero touch Windows 7 OS install process.
What I did before:
- mount the SCCM modified WinPE image (boot.XXX99999.wim)
- integration of the KB972831 hotfix into the WinPE
- creation of a lan profile and eap profile file
- copy both files into the mounted image
- creation of new wim file
I've booted the boot wim via a usb stick to test the 802.1x integration with the following commands:
net start dot3svc
=> The Wired AutoConfig service was started successfully
netsh lan add profile filename="X:\8021x\Local Area Connection.xml " interface="Local Area Connection"
=> The profile was added successfully on the interface Local Area connection
netsh lan set eapuserdata filename=x:\8021x\Wired-WinPE-UserData-PEAP-MSChapv2.xml allusers=yes interface="Local Area Connection"
=> Error setting user data for interface Local Area Connection. The operation is not supported.
Actually I can't post web links here. If the files are needed I can send them per mail.
What can I do to solve this problem?

I've followed those steps and it worked as a charm, even for WinPE 4.0.

For that reason, I'm also not interested in adding in headphones or additional devices that have the desired button functions. Going both forward and back would be great but I would be pleased just to have a "sight-free" way to go forward.
I've seen some mention here and there about ways to maybe change it so the volume buttons change tracks and holding the volume buttons changes the volume... but I don't know what's involved in that or if its even possible/recommended for a new 5th gen iPod. I think its a great device but its sadly lacking in music oriented functions and features... which is disappointing since music is why most people would bother getting one instead of some other "iDevice" :/

Given that you cannot do what you have asked for, perhaps you simply need to find another solution to your root problem.
Presumably, you want to skip to the next track because you don't want to hear the current one, and that is because...
You don't like it.
You've heard it recently and don't want to hear it now.
Simply don't want to hear it at this time.
For problem number 1. Don't put it on the iPod in the first place. (I know, obvious answer!)
For problem number 2. How about playing from a Smart Playlist (initially created in your iTunes Library) which has only songs you've not played recently?
For problem number 3. Hhhmmm! Create alternative Playlists for use in the car.
As for going back to the start of the "now playing" track.... Well, if your Playlist has only songs that you really, really want to hear, then you'll be looking forward to that rather go back to the beginning of the current song.
I'm not trying to be prescriptive, just giving you food for thought.
(They are all cheaper options than buying a car which can control the iPod from the steering wheel.)

Exchange 2010 to 2013 users migration

I am migrating users from Exchange 2010 to 2013 and facing a lot of migration issues. few of them are as follow.
1. It hung up at "syncing" and end up with a failure.
2. After a long migration i got the following errors
Error: MigrationPermanentExeception: Failed to reset the target mailbox after the move. Error Details:MaipExceptionADUnavailable: Unable to prepopulate the cache for user :: on domain controller xyz.domain.com (hr=0x80004005,ec=2414) Diagnosti Context: Lid:
65256 Lid:1494 ---- Remote Context Beg ---- Lid: 52664 StoreEc: 0x96E Lid: 35973 StoreEc: 0x96E Target Mailbox unlock operation was not replicated. If a lossy failover occurs after the target mailbox was unlocked, the target mailbox could remain inaccessible.
Error details: Target mailbox connection was lost.
3. users migration is taking a lot of time although mailbox size is not big and both servers are in same datacenter.

Here are the general steps for troubleshooting mailbox moves:
1. If the move request didn't complete, view the Move Request Statistics.
2. If the move request completed with errors, view the move report.
3. View the Event log on the Client Access server running the instance of the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service that's processing the failed move request.
4. use the Exchange Management Console or the Exchange Management Shell to increase the diagnostic logging levels on the Client Access server for the Mailbox Move and Service categories of the MSExchange Mailbox Replication service.

WinPE 4.0 Startup Script on a Zero Touch Deployment

Hi,
First, the scenario im using is SCCM2012 SP1 + MDT2012 Update 1, Zero Touch deployment, started from client, so no USB or PXE boot.
I want to run a startup command when WinPE boots.
WinPE have some ways to run startup scripts, you have to modify or include some files on your boot image to do it, please correct me if im wrong, there are some methods:
Startnet.cmd - When you update boot image on Distribution Point, SCCM adds his binaries and Startnet.cmd doest run on boot.
TSConfig.ini - Not valid for my ZeroTouch Scenario because, when computer reboots to the boot image it doesnt run. Only Media and PXE.
Unattend.xml - Not valid for my ZeroTouch Scenario because, when computer reboots to the boot image it doesnt run. Only Media and PXE.
AutoUnattend.xml - Not valid for my ZeroTouch Scenario because, when computer reboots to the boot image it doesnt run. Only Media and PXE.
WinPEshl.ini - When you update the file gets overwrited, so i cant add commands
to the file at the boot image and then update, anyways im trying to use this method because you should be able to inject the file on the boot image someway during
the update process.
Im trying inject the file at the update distribution point process by adding it on osdinjection.xml, but the update process fails to inject OSD Binaries on the boot image.
Maybe some one know how to do it, file and directories have the correct permisions.

I also wanted to inject some startupscripts in the winPe environment. SCCM 2012 ignored the WinPEshl.ini and the startnet.cmd.
This solved my issue ->
First I enabled powershell for the boot image and then added the script as a "Prestart Command".
Now my powershell script runs before the task sequence starts.

as far as i know the button heigth in the Screen Painter can't be changed.
Maybe there is a way to display the dynpro bigger like 200% resolution.

In addition to the "User's Guide" there has also been a PDF "Features Guide" for each version of the iPod touch. (The one iwell provided a link for is not for the 4th generation iPod touch. (The 'at a glance' sketch shows the on/off button on the left. It's on the right on the 4th generation iPod touch.) It's possible Apple hasn't posted it yet. But I appreciate you both for trying. I have created a VI (LabVIEW 6.1) that does what you want. Note that the poles and zeros have to be entered correctly that is in Rad/s and typically with negative real part. The VI offers you all options for lin/log frequency axis, magnitude in dB or not, phase in Radians or Degrees etc...
The VI is written with "academic" in mind, so it is not optimized for performances but (hopefully) for clarity. I hope this will work for you.

FDM - User migration utility

We migrated the FDM App from 9.3.1 to 11.1.2.1..
In 9.3.1 we have MSAD users provisioned. We need to migrate provisioning.
we tried to migrate the provisioning using FDM - User migration utility.But its not recognizing MSAD user names......We are getting " Username not found". though in SS these names are present.
................How to solve it

How many users do you have that are MSAD accounts?
Is the user you are using to run the migration tool a Shared Services Provisioning Manager?

Use Prefs, lockPrefs or defaultPrefs in your file.
lockprefs obviously locks the setting so it can't be changed.
Prefs allows per session changes then reverts back.
defaultPrefs sets the settings and allows user changing.
You will also want to use the mozilla.cfg since we're at 7 now. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences
