Skipping a portion of PM plans

My client has a situation below
1. A particular production line is down for 6 to 8 months in a suspended animation. So, they want to skip all PM plans during this period. Currently orders are getting generated and they are cancelling them manually with a updated status. How to stop this unnecessary order creation?
- Can we list all M.Plans impacted and reschedule the starting date?
- If we deactive the technical objects will it stop order generation? If yes, when I activate it back I shouldnt get orders from suspended animation period. I hear that the client tried it but it kick out during the entire period.
- Any enhancement std.SAP offers to get this functionality?
2. In another scenario, say there is a breakdown of a reactor and overhaul is completed for this and brough back into operation. During this overall period, the maintenance team has done all statutory maintenance required on the connected instruments and also, on other equipments.
Question: In this case, client want to record this statutory & PM done during this breakdown on instruments/equipments and to reset the schedule such that each of the assets starts its package duration starting from this breakdown date.
Any comments/views will be much appreciated.

You can make Maintenance plans Inactive, so that those plans will not be considered during automatic or manual scheduling run.
Once your overhaul / suspended animation period is over, you can reschedule the maintenance plan with new start date in IP10. This rescheduling should be in only in IP10 & for each maintenance plan individually. This rescheduling should be done before next planned automatic scheduling run.

Even you deactivate technical object or maintenance plan & again if you activate, there is a possibility of creating orders in past date. But there is some settings available (some threads are there) to restrict order creation in past dates. Please search in google.

Hello Prabahkaran,
If you're on 4.7 then you would be having the Goto statement in debugging. Choose the Menu Option <i>Debugging>Control>Goto Statement</i>.
This option is different than the one Patrick had suggested. It just jumps to the statement where the cursor is placed. the statements in between are not executed. And what is really cool about this option is that you can even go <i>backwards</i> during debugging - From Line 20 you can go back to line 15, for example.
Check this out and let me know if it suits your purpose. If you're on a release < 4.7, then I'm afraid you do not have this option.

Penalizing long term customers for keeping their unlimited data plan is unwise an business

Dear Verizon President and Employees,
I have spoken to three Verizon employees via the phone today who have failed to be able to tell me why I should stay with Verizon. You see I have a very small portion of my plan that is unlimited data, I have it because I have been a long time customer. I don't use a lot of data but when I got I thought I would never use any data. Times change people change in fact my family has changed and I was thinking of adding another line to my account for my son. Maybe at xmas I will buy a tablet but I need to update my phone. I found out that if I tried to upgrade my phone I would lose my unlimited data package plan. Now I understand why Verizon no longer carries an unlimited plan. I actually have worked for a competeing wireless company and they don't offer the plan either. So yes I can understand telling people its a grandfathered plan and we honor our loyal longtime customers who have that plan by continuing to carry the plan as long as they don't remove it from their accounts. I Can understand why if you switch to the convenience of the mobile share plan you couldn't switch back. What I can't understand is why you are forcing your long time customers to question why they should be with you. I don't use huge amounts of data right now but I have been happy not having to worry about my plan and after all I have spent a lot of money with Verizon wireless over the years. In fact lets do a little math I have spent on average on my single line at least $120 a month for the last six years (I am being conservative its probably more like 150 but I think we should be conservative) that's 8640 to Verizon for the last six years... I am looking at wanting another line (Probably will add 50 a month to my phone bill) I am thinking about adding a tablet at xmas. I understand I have to get a separate data plan for the tablet or I would lose my unlimited data another 40 so saying I wanted my two year contract that's almost 200 a month for the next two years in fact lets say its an even two hundred that's $4800 you would get from me for the next four years. Am I such an unimportant customer you would sacrifice that for $300-400 on a phone? It doesn't make good business sense. If I am going lose my plan when I am already shelling out that much money I should look at other carriers who don't penalize their long time customers by saying you can only keep your plan buy paying full price on a phone. You see its dumb your taking away your own juicy carrot. As long as I had something with you I knew I couldn't get with anyone else I wasn't going to look at another service provider. I can get a limited data package plan anywhere and there are very competitive offers. Customers should be able to choose when they want to drop their plans... not be penalized into doing so. Why do you offer a discounted price on a phone? Because the customer is signing a contract they will stay with you for two years. You are guaranteed to get those fees. You have already told me it doesn't have to to do with the phone... if I can bring my own phone to the plan. It has to do with trying to bribe people if you want this phone at this price you have to give up your unlimited data... sadly its a poor choice... I can get that phone at a nice price and give up my unlimited data by going somewhere else... I will pay the same price and you... you will lose not only my money but loyalty... all because I wanted 400 off a phone like your other people get when they sign a 2 year contract and to stay my current plan. Yes I know that you said 95% of people use 2 GB or less that may be true but I want the freedom to be able to choose I am an individual not 95%. And I should be important as a customer. I have been a customer for a long time. My current contract ends in October, So again I ask why should I stay loyal to a company who doesn't stay loyal to its long time customers.

It comes down to money and profits.
The juicy carrot of unlimited is still there. But you buy the device at full price. You pay no upgrade fees and you have no contract. The data costs are not carrots but gardens of green. (money) Those same 95% are now seeing huge overage fees and that is more green to the company and the stock holders.
Sprint & T-Mobile offer unlimited data but their buildouts of 4G LTE are way behind Verizon & AT&T so you may not want their service. AT&T has no unlimited and price and coverage wise are almost identical so no savings there.
Loyality is an over used word. You are a customer like everyone else, no distinction is made because you paid $5,000 or $2,000 it just depends on what service is right for you.
I never take subsidize devices, I don't like contracts and personally I use Verizon for the coverage and I think I have called them less than five times over 30+ years for any service requests or anything.
America is profit generated and you have to remember that. When the customers leave in droves due to lower costs at another provider that is when Verizon will take a long look at trying to get customers back. But that will be many years in the future

Questions about Assumption of Liability and device to be used for unlimited data plan

This is my first post on here. I have an opportunity that someone I know is willing to transfer his smartphone plan with unlimited data to me. I have read extensively on here and other sites and gathered some information, and also heard of many complications and questionable losses of unlimited data plans when making various types of changes to devices or services. Some of what I read may be outdated as well if Verizon has made changes in their policies, so I will start with the most obvious question: as of this date, is an AOL possible while keeping the unlimited data plan intact?
If so, here are some other questions I have:
-Will I receive a new SIM card by mail or do I need to use my friend's old SIM card?
-If my ultimate end goal is to use laptop, do I have to connect through a smartphone (and is there any additional charge for that, or would it change the plan), or can I put the SIM card in a mobile hotspot such as the MHS291L and use only the data portion of the plan?
-After getting the plan, is there any way I can get TWO SIM cards - one for a mobile hotspot, and the other strictly for voice and text? If so, how much extra would that cost?
-If we went to a Verizon store to do this transfer or AOL, how can we be absolutely certain it goes smoothly, that no one makes any unauthorized plan changes and does not lose the unlimited data? I have unfortunately read some horror stories of it being lost in similar situations, no one seems to be accountable, and it winds up costing someone countless hours of struggle with Verizon to try to get it back (whether they are successful or not I don't know).
-If at some point the SIM card was lost (such as if I lost the device), can it be replaced without affecting the plan?
For what it's worth (especially for those working for Verizon), I am not looking for a way to hog up absurd amounts of data but simply to be able to do the basic stuff I need to online and maybe watch a movie once in a while without having really huge bills. Even if I used the internet without giving data consumption a second thought, I doubt I'd go much over 25-30GB most months.

Hi NicandroN_VZW, sorry i did not see your reply in time but thank you just the same. I called the number for the AOL department and they were able to help me with it pretty easily and answer most of my questions
I do have a couple other questions regarding the unlimited data plan on smartphones. I have seen various comments regarding these things online, and i can make a good guess about what "might work," but i'm really looking to know Verizon's official policy on these things, if one exists. In case any non-verizon employees are able to provide this information as well, if you have references to where i can find it in writing that would be helpful.
First, i realize there is an optional $30 fee for mobile hotspot use. But does Verizon have any policy about whether this fee must be paid if i connect only via a USB cable (since it would not actually be a "hotspot," and could not connect multiple devices)?
And my other question is, if i do opt to pay the $30 hotspot fee, is there any policy either for or against using that SIM card in a 4g hotspot such as the MHS291L?
PS i am asking these things here rather than by PM because, given the wide range of opinions which can be found online and that others have looked into similar things, i am sure other people could also benefit from knowing Verizon's policy regarding these things.

Make sure that the plan number is established through the IMG. (And that it is not the active plan.)
     Go Human Resources -> Organizational Management Tools -> Plan version -> Copy.
     It runs RHCOPL00. All or any portion of the plan maybe copied and manipulated and then copied back in to the active
     plan.

Questions about Planning Cost Center - Cost Element

Hi,
I'm trying to find a solution to this customer requirement.
We need to do a transfer between cost center/cost element to another cost center/cost element for a planned value. This is possible using 2 time the KP06 transaction (first adding on the receiver, then decrease on the sender).
We need to do this in only one CO document or with a unique transaction (like KB11N for primary costs). How to do this?
Another question: we try to modify the text of the document (COBK-BLTXT) but we can't find the appropriate transaction (KABP is only display). How to do this task?

In the Variable portion type define " Planned cost"
Also dont forget to make the tick mark to Planned value in the sender header
then enter the receiver mention the receiver cost object

What is the extractor to get Fixed Price (fixed portion of cur. plnd price)

Hi,
I am looking for extractor which has Fixed price information. i.e., Field LPLPX (fixed portion of current planned price) from MBEW Table (Material Valuation).
I know that
Total standard price = Fixed price + Variable price. Fixed remains same with respect to production but variable cost changes with prodn.
In cost center planning, various data cells are linked together using periodic formulas, such as:
Fixed costs + variable costs = overall costs.
I have looked at extractor 0CO_PC_ACT_05. This has many fields but it didnot have LPLPX field. I know that I can enhance the extractor to get this field.
But I would like to know Is there any other extractors or alternatives? Please reply. Thanks,

How to extract planned independent reqmts allocated quantity ref MD73

Hi expert,
I am looking for a hint that I could share with our developer on how to get the unallocated/or allocated portion of a planned independent requirement (we are developping a kind of multilevel shortage report). For exemple, report MD73 provide this information and in MD04 we see the unallocated portion.
Is there anyone who was able to program this using function module, tables or anything else? The standard BAPI like BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_GETDETAIL doesn't provide this information.
Someone recommended to use tables MDKP,MDPS but not sure if could achieve my goal. Some other recommended fm REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION but I'm not convince eigther. I hope there is a simpler way.

I maybe tempted by MD_MRP_LIST_API since the report we develop will be generated after our daily MRP run. This FM provides right away the information for scenarios with MPN-MRP set (materials with interchangeabilities). I don't see yet how to get this with MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST.
Could you explain why you used Requirements Allocation module? Are you refering to the fm REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION ? Is it to know which items have PIR (we are currently using BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_GETDETAIL for this)?
By any chance would you know what is the parameter INPER wich is passed to the fm MD_MRP_LIST and MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST ?

What happens to your previous ATT plan if you get an iPhone?

I have a family plan for ATT and wondered what would happen to it if I upgraded to an iPhone. Does ATT replace my current plan with the $79 a month plan, or does it just tack on $20 to what I currently have?

Hi, I already had a family ATT plan. If you have a text message portion to your plan (per phone) then that is substituted/replaced with the iPhone data plan you pick. I actually ended up a little cheaper. I am not a big texter so our plan $ was slightly lower since i chose the $20 "data(texting)" plan. The only sneaky part on ATT part is that activating the iPhone plan pushes you into a brand new 2 year contract starting the day you activate the iPhone. It is a shame that Apple chose ATT which seems to have the worst internet speed and still has drop signal problems more than verizon. So I am stuck with ATT for 2 more years.

Yes, you can 'bring your own phone' and it shouldn't affect your current calling plan. You'll need to add a data plan, though, if you're on a Nationwide calling plan, and you may need to adjust the data portion of your plan if you're on a More Everything plan.

Facing problems while encoding..

Finally i am able to send the TV channel signals by using live encoder. It works good with few problems .
problems:
1) In player after connect to server the screen( channel screen) is not exactly showing that means bottom 1/4 portion is cut off. Is there any setting to avoid this problem??
2) After connect to server, on client machine the video is not running smoothly,it breaks upto 2 sec then skip that portion and then continue...it is continuing like this for every 5min
3) On FMLE the input and output panel showing with high color quality but once it send to server(even local server also) on web casting it delivers very poor quality
is there any setting to solve this problem?
4)Last question (but not final one) i played all these games on my local machine (with static IP) for testing purpose, i planning to take dedicated server in order to webcast my client channel for public. Please give me some suggestions which one i can prefer in the sense bandwidth,speed,RAM..etc so that i can make my client satisfy by avoiding all problems mentioned above..

2. What resolution/output size/bitrate are you using?
3. What is the bandwidth on the connection between your computer running FMLE and the server?
4. What computer are you using to encode (CPU/RAM/etc)?

Iphone 5s and "forced data useage"

Hi all,
I was an android guy for years but finally went for an iphone 5s this time around and signed up with Verizon for the new $45 plan. Unltd Text, talk, and 250MB of data or AKA "The Wifi Only Plan." I came from metro PCS and enjoyed the same deal, but now I get with a better carrier with better coverage. I am fine with a low data amount plan because I have wifi at home and work. But this iphone 5s is forcing me to use data and I believe that it is not fair and want a rep to chime in on this situation. Some of the points may be able to be fixed on my end - so let me know how, but i think most are in a catch 22.
1) Most importantly... Voicemail. I go to the voicemail icon on my phone and if my cellur data is disabled... then I can not reach it. This forces me to turn on my data just to fetch voicemail which is a basic service and should be inclusive into my unlimited voice portion of the plan. Is there a way in the iphone 5s to get around this?
2) iMessage. This is sent across the data line of the carrier. I have had a few problems sending and receiving messages iphone to iphone because I have supposedly turned the data feature to iMessage off. Not good, not reliable service.
3) System Services. Eventhough it is only KBs of data it is still my data pool and should not have to pay for the auto system services that run on the phone. If I can control this on Iphone, lemme know where, but it seems that if I turn my data on for my phone these will auto send and receive data to where as individual apps I can block.
Also is there a data warning text I can receive when I get close to my monthly alotment?

2. Don't use iMessage. Unassociate your device with iMessage. Turn it off and just use SMS.
3. You can't change that. And as you noted, it doesn't use much data.

I tried that, but didn't work. When I invoked the "importCommonServiceArtifactsIntoMds" target, just got another error. Invalid username, password. What's the user name password for this one? Is it set somewhere? Thanks.

Itunes wont sync music to iphone 5c

itunes wont sync music to iphone 5c, skips music portion of sync and gets stuck on "waiting for changes to be applied"
also wont remove cloud downloaded previously purchased songs during sync, i have restored the phone from my old one that was destroyed, but other than that sync pretty much doesnt work at all for photos or anything else.
plenty of available space on brand new phone

After days of getting frustrated I finally found a solution: Don't use itunes to sync music. After going through pages of possible solutions (restores, syncing albums one at a time, removing all music, deactivating accounts, making a call while syncing and various other things) as well as trying to contact apple support (Which was a joke--They wanted to charge me $19.00 to get help for a problem with their software), I change my Google search terms to "how to sync music without itunes" and I found a program called CopyTrans Manager for free. It only took me a few minutes to add the new tracks to my iphone. It automatically organizes it the same way itunes would and you have the option to make your own playlists. Best of all it synced the first try! Itunes is now dead to me. Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do with all the free time I have since I'm not going to be spending hours banging my head at my computer ready to throw my phone out the window.
