Skipping entire songs, not on shuffle, shake to shuffle turned off

When playing albums, two to three songs are skipped every time. It's not on shuffle, and shake to shuffle is off. It does this all the time, with no headphones or speakers or anything. I recently got a JBL Micro II speaker dick thing, maybe that screwed it up? It's the only thing I can think of. Either way, it's unacceptable for this to be happening, so how do I fix it?

I am getting the same thing, but it just skips the entire first track every time. i can get the track to play if I select it from songs, but not if I select the album!! The only way to listen to an entire album is for me to check the first track, select it from songs, and then let the album continue. It sorted itself for a while, but has returned since my last iOS upgrade, so I hope they do anothet upgrade soon!

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

In Playlist, iPod skips entire Song

I used in iPod hack to change the Skin on my iPod with my PC, and I Restored it to get rid of it, now half my songs just SKIP Entirely,
*I DO NOT mean that they Skip during the song*, I Put on my playlist with several songs in it, and it skips to the only song that works, and *No other songs play*.

I signed up to find out the answer to the same question. I got the exact same problem. 3 or 4 songs of a given purchased album will play, the others are just skipped as if they weren't there...though I see the album and title for a split second before the ipod finds the song that it can play.

Ipod displays wrong album art & skips entire songs since updating to 1.2

I recently got the new itunes update and the ipod update 1.2, and ever since that it has been skipping entire batches of songs and shows wrong album art for the songs that DO play. I have a 30 Gig Video

Try this: Open itunes> plug in your ipod> select your ipod icon> click the music tab> uncheck the box that says display alblum artwork (unless its already unchecked)> click apply> check the same box again> click apply. If all else fails you can restore your ipod and the artwork will come with it.

Ios 8 keep shuffle turned off

I have an iPhone 5c with ios 8.1. I play my song list without shuffle. Shuffle has always been frustrating in that it will play some songs 4 or 5 times and not play other songs at all. So I turn it off and just let the list play in order.
But; every so often the music player will turn the shuffle back on and then some songs end up never playing! I know this from the "play count" in iTunes.
So, once I turn off shuffle, how do I get this silly phone to leave it off?

Here is what finally worked for me in ios8 (8.1.2)
Settings > Notifications > Calendar > Invitations > Notification Sound > Set *both the alert tone and vibration* to None (they are separate settings.) The view from the Invitations form is a little misleading - the Notification sound will say "None" even if there is a vibration setting other than None.
Not sure when this changed but it was making me a LITTLE CRAZY.

I just made a playlist of 70 songs that I need to play in order
for a party in 2 hours and can't fint the shuttle turnoff URRRR!!!
I go up to controls and its turned off there but still wants
to shuffle on the play list. Itunes 11.1.5
It seems everytime you do a software update something goes haywire.

Found it. You have to right click on your palylist to turn on and off.

IOS 6 Do Not Disturb Feature Failing To Automatically Turn Off 2013

I am owning iphone 5 for the pass 3 months & has been scheduling do not disturb to turn on 11.30pm to 8am. It was working great until yesterday 1/1/2013. This morning 2/1/2013, i found out that it does not turn OFF automatically. Till now, it is still not working. I have to disable/turn of Do not disturb entirely.. A test to reschedule a new time FAIL TO WORK also. The entire Do not disturb function goes out of function. It will TURN ON all day long regardless the scheudled time. Please help & anyone of you faced this issue?
