Sky box no signal when i insert card

My OLD Thompson multiscreen sky box has started playing up since i got delivery off a Hd box downstairsI can watch free to air channels until i put my sky card in then it says no signal!

Template "boxes" lose formatting when photos inserted

Ok, so I created a template for a section of my book (an iPad edition of a high school yearbook). The template uses rectangular shapes defined as media placeholders. In addition, these boxes have been given a caption, which has been deleted as the caption is not needed/wanted, in order for the image to be "pinchable" (so that it can be enlarged to be viewed better).
Each of these boxes has a 1 point stroke (white line) surrounding it. When I add the template to the book as a page, the strokes are there; however, when I add an image to any given box, the stroke disappears.
Am I using the wrong approach to creating the template? Is there anything I can do to correct the issue?

So it seems from reading the COMMAND manual that my first issue is that I used a 16GB SD card, and the manual says it will only recogize up to a 2GB SD card. I did use my MB Air's SD card slot and crated a folder and dragged the music files to it, then to the card. So I am going to get a 2GB card and try that next. Otherwise just stick with the iPOD connected. At least that is 8GB

How can I prevent iPhoto from launching when I insert an SD card

I recently upgraded to a new iMac retina and am having trouble disabling iPhoto from launching when an SD card is inserted.
I have gone to iPhoto setting and disabled iPhoto from launching when a camera is connected.
I have also gone into image capture and selected no application as the hidden option for SD card actions when inserted.
Unfortunately the issue persists... two questions: can I do a terminal level disable to prevent iPhoto from launching or can I remove iPhoto from my computer?

Select your SD Card
Click the little widget in the bottom right corner of the window
Select the program to launch, or "No application"

I could see you wanting LR ,Bridge or some other image organizer to open. ACR is not a start able application and Photoshop has no feature to import images from your camera's sd media to computers storage devices. I just use Windows File explorer. Look at your OS learn how to change you card reader's autoplay settings. On windows you will find information like this.

Have a look in Finder Preferences: Click on the desktop, Finder>Finder Preferences.General tab - is there a tick in "External Disks'? If not, tick it.

Which version of Photoshop Elements are you using?
The automatic running is usually invoke by your operating system. For instance in Windows 7, go to the control panel and select Autoplay. There, look for the action when pictures are detected - it is probably set to elements. Set it as you want.

Same thing is happening to me but I am using a card reader. Can't get any explanation besides checking the preferences. I can import by downloading to desktop then importing to iphoto but never had to do that before.
