SkyDrive has only 7 GB capacity for Lumia 800

It seems that only 7 GB is available for my account in SkyDrive, can anyone confirm on this. I can see in the SkyDrive application setting and it is showing only 7 GB.

Microsoft offers 7GB of free cloud storage through the SkyDrive service to all Windows Phone users. Originally the skydrive amount space was targeted at 25GB, but recently Microsoft has decided to reduce to 7GB for all it's users who where not using the full space.
This is the statement of Microsoft on the matter published back on April.
"7GB free for all new SkyDrive users. We chose 7GB as it provides enough space for over 99% of people to store their entire Office document library and share photos for several years, along with room for growth. To put things in perspective, 99.94% of SkyDrive customers today use 7GB or less – and 7GB is enough for over 20,000 Office documents or 7,000 photos. Since the current base of customers using SkyDrive tilts towards enthusiasts, we are confident that, as we expand the range of people using SkyDrive, this 7GB free limit will prove to be more than enough for even more people.
We know that many of you signed up for a service that offered 25GB, and some are already using more than 7GB of storage. So, starting today, for a limited time, any registered SkyDrive user *who has uploaded files to SkyDrive* as of April 22nd can opt in to keep 25GB of free storage while still getting all of the benefits of the new service. (For users who are already using more than 4GB as of April 1, we’ve automatically opted you in to 25GB of free storage to avoid any issues.)"
It does seem counter intuitive for Microsoft to lower the amount of free space.
But, it’s still more than a lot of other similar services like Dropbox or SugarSyn where they offer 5GB of free space.
If 7GB still isn’t enough, you can subscribe to more space, up to 100GB in fact. But this will not be for free.

Yes - email & text work fine but when I use something like Google Images or search a blog with imbedded photos I get the empty white boxes with question marks. If I click the question mark it opens the photo but I can't possibly do that for EVERY image on EVERY page I search!?!?! I've rebooted the iPad & my wireless card several times but neither action helped. Have any clue what I should do now?

please help me to do this task. on click of lov new jsp page should be opend which has only text area for adding comment and upon clicking submit on the jsp page the value entered on the textarea should fall on the text field of lov.

The only reason I see for such a requirement is "Notes" require more space for entering a detailed note and would be inconvenient to write it in small single-line text input box. But, still in this case, getting the entered text back to the page and displaying it will have the same inconvenience of reading it from that field. And, I still think that removing one amongst the two (text field or image link) would be good, design wise.
Anyway, did u try the following:
1. Add a flow layout to the table bean
2. Add text input and image item to the flow layout.
3. Attach the notes page as the destination uri for the image.
Did u start the working on it, let us know how far did u reach so that we can guide you through from that point.

I copied the info below from iCal's help pages. I found it by going to the Help>iCal Help menu item in iCal and entering "add event" in the search box.
You might also want to search for "tips" in iCal's help.
1. Click the name of the calendar you want to add an event to.
2. In Day or Week view, drag from the start time to the end time for the event, then type a subject for the event. In Month view, double-click the white area on the day you want the new event to appear, then type a subject.
You can also quickly create a new one hour event by double-clicking in the main calendar view.
3. To make any other changes to your event (for example, how often it repeats or whether it has an alarm), click the Info button in the bottom-right corner of the iCal window to open the Info drawer, and make your choices.
In Day or Week view, you can also open the Info window by double-clicking the bar along the top of the event (where the event's start time appears).
If the selected event will take place in a different time zone (for example, if you will be traveling to another location for a meeting), choose iCal > Preferences and make sure the "Turn on time zone support" checkbox is selected in the Advanced pane. Then choose a time zone for this event from the "time zone" pop-up menu in the Info drawer.
For more information about changing the alarm, time zone, or how often the event occurs, click "Tell me more."
4. To invite someone to the event, click None next to "attendees" and type the email address of each person you want to invite, separated by commas. When you're ready to invite these guests to your event, click the Send button at the bottom of the Info drawer.

Is 7.8 out for lumia 800 yet?

is 7.8 out for lumia 800 yet?, and will zune still be able to update the phone? Will this update be able to be downloaded over wifi on the phone also?

No idea when exactly 7.8 will be released. All we know for definite is it will be released after WP8 is released and that is done.
You will be able to update using Zune. Not sure about an OTA update but I don't think so. You should get notification on the phone though.

i bought Nokia Lumia 800 on Dec 2012, till now i have received only one update (windows 7.8).
even we are part of lumia family and we are not able to access the full features of Windows.
In my case, i'm not getting any updates and now SKYPE is also not available in my phone.
in my view all customers are equal. we have also paid a good amount to buy it. I have been a part of the Nokia family for almost 10 yrs and has used verious models (nokia 3310,1100,6600,6233,5233,6233,lumia 800).
As a request, kindly help us with new updates like you are providing for windows 8 mobiles and solve the Skype issue as we all use SKYPE for video chatting.
Indirectly i have done marketing for nokia phones as i was happy with the functions and i want my friends also to use the phone and has helped you in increasing the sales.
Kindly help me with a solution regarding this as i think customer as the king and loyal customers as the best promoters for any product.

New update available for Lumia 800 (1600.2487.8107...

Hi all!
Good news! We have brought forward the software update schedule for our Nokia Lumia 800, and have begun rolling out the latest update 1600.2487.8107.12070 to India and Singapore. This update will gradually be available for more markets in the coming weeks and we will keep you informed via our support pages as well as via a similar announcement here on Nokia Discussions Forum, once we add additonal markets to the roll out.
As this is not a mandatory software update, not every country or network carrier will make it available to their customers. However, all features and enhancements will be included in subsequent software updates. If you have questions if 1600.2487.8107.12070 will be available for you, please check with your local network carrier.
The new Lumia 800 update brings the following enhancements:
Enhanced battery standby and talk-time performance
Fix for non-responsive screen when ending a call
Improved bass in audio performance
Soft keys illumination available for all screen brightness levels
Fix for rebooting in certain network conditions
As soon as the update is available for you, your phone will display a notification on your Homescreen or you can check for available updates manually by going to Settings > phone update. To update your phone, please follow those 4 steps:
1.   Install the Zune software (Windows) or Windows Phone 7 Connector (Mac OS) on your computer. You'll need this software to download the phone update.
2.   Connect your phone to your computer, using the USB cable that came with your phone.
3.   If the Zune software or Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac doesn't start automatically when you connect your phone, start it manually.

There is no request, there is an absolute necessity! Patience is usually my second nature, but the whole non communication policy since the launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 is scandalous. When Nokia finally listening to their customers and responds quickly to problems and childhood illnesses. Like many others with me I'll be forced to daily to plug my device to the Zune software in the hope that Nokia (Netherlands) will be so kind to update my phone.
Nokia, listen, communicate (especially in the media and forums) and trade as a company that lives up to your image.

Lost Outlook icon on screen for Lumia 800

'Outlook'' icon is deleted from main screen. It is also deleted from icon list. All Outlook account data is still in Settings. How to get back Outlook icon on main screen?

You can try to perform a reset on the phone by going to Settings > Abount > Reset. This reset will delete every data that you have on the phone and restore the default settings of the handset. After performing the reset, set up your Outlook account again and check if you will able to see the "Outlook" on your phone.
Alternatively you can use Zune software to update/restore the software of your Nokia Lumia 800. Zune software can be downloaded here .

Case for Lumia 800?

I want a case for the lumia the type that flips uo and you can use the phone but the only ones I can find leave the sides still exsposed. I'm looking for one that covers the sides and i know I'll have to lift it up to use the buttons on the side but would rather this than putting it in my handbag and the sides get damaged.

I cannot open my banking page or open PDF's from any mozilla browser. All of my applications work fine in Internet Explorer. This has only started happening for the last week or so.

Whenever I try to access my banking information on firefox it only downloads a small portion of the display page. Also, when I try to open a PDF nothing happens when using firefox. I have the latest version of Adobe.

Well, I tried to delete the Caches and I threw all the .plist files related to microsoft in the trash -- athough I don't know if this is the way to delete files but I haven't found another yet....
From your other suggestions, it seems to me that you have the impression that I want to stop using Microsoft Office (it was 2007, I made a mistake) though... but this is not the case.
So... tell me if I misunderstood correctly or if I did anything wrong, or if you have anything else to suggest...

Used to be fine, could play any clip or movie then suddenly about 6 months ago it started crashing when any movie clip played. I believe its an update in Firefox that caused the problem as it started happening after an UPDATE automatically loaded. Have been trying to resolve but noone I ask for help from responds including Mozilla.
