Skyfall Digital Copy is not 1080P?

I recently purchased the Blu-Ray | DVD | Digital Copy of Skyfall. Upon transferring the Digital Copy through iTunes, I noticed the file size is 2.03 GB, Video Dimensions: 853x354.
The size of the download on the iTunes store for HD is 5.38 GB (1080p HD)
My question is, what am I getting with the Digital Copy if not 1080p?

I might be mistaken - this might not apply to *all* movies. I recently purchased a Blu-ray edition of Looper, and the download for that is 4.39GB; very close to the claimed '4.71 GB 1080P' version on the iTunes Store. The download also has the HD tag.
So I suppose it varies by studio / movie too?

Digital copy codes not working

Hi, I'm from the uk and I've got quite a few bluray DVDs with digital copies with them, they have codes but I don't have a computer to put the disks in to then move them to the iTunes is there any way I can just put the films straight to iTunes with just the authorisation codes??? Doesn't seem fair that I've got an iPad because I didn't want a computer but thought I'd be ale to watch my films on the go??? Any help please as rung up customer services and they had no idea what I was talking about

May be I should note, that the digital copy, which is part of the Star Trek Blu-Ray, needs to be downloaded via iTunes. On the Blu-Ray it says, the download via iTunes is compatible with the iPod, iPhone and Apple TV.
The regional copy protection is controlled by Apple and nobody else. Paramount explicitly stated to me, that they do not want this regional protection.
Apple advertises this movie as part of their iPad promotion. So why don't they deliver it to a customer, which has already paid for it? I cannot see any reason for this behaviour. Additional this is illegal in the european union. But who forces a lawsuit for a single movie...

Purchased (digital copy) videos not working

I tried using the digital copy feature from some movies I have had yesterday, but for some reason they are not working. I have tried playing them in iTunes, and all I get is a grey screen. When I look at the chapters, they are all present, which confuses me. It is in mp4 format, so that shouldn't be the problem. If anyone can help me on here, please let me know. Thanks.

Watchmen digital copy code not working

I just bought a "watchmen director's cut" combo Blu-Ray and digital copy. It was new in the shrink wrap from Target. I'm trying to get the digital copy into my itunes, which is current release. I've done this before for other movies without a problem. This time it's saying the code is invalid. I'm not dyslexic and I've tried a bunch of times. Kind of frustrating. Anyone else experience this? How do I get this resolved? Now that it's unsealed I can't take it back to Target.

Digital Copy Does not work

i have bought triple play blu ray with digital copy and when i try to redeem it does not recognise the code

The person at that number did not work for 20th Century Fox or have any idea what I was talking about.
I called the number on the case. They did not really understand the problem (suggested I update the firmware on my Blu-Ray player). They referred me to http://support.foxdigitalcopy.com. You can obtain a new serial number there, just not for this particular movie.
They have a different number, 866/520-6606, but only answer it Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm.
At this point, I'm just going to try to take the path of least resistance and return it to Amazon as defective.

Xmen 3 (the last stand) digital copy will not redeem

i need some help. i got all the xmen movies on blue ray, dvd and digital copy. none of the codes worked right off the bat, but i entered in my codes and got a new one at http://support.foxdigitalcopy.com/ . it worked for the first 2 codes but not the 3rd one. if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I am having the same problem as John except for me it is Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. I get the same message of:
(Red X) we could not complete your iTunes store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
with the extra message
We could not complete your itunes Store request. An unknown error occured (5002)
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please Try again later.
My CD Rom can read the disc just fine, however it is also a DVD player as well. So Why am I getting the 5002 message.
Never had problems before. Is there something like an upgrade or something going on in the store?

Digital copy code not working

So I recently gave someone The Fault in Our Stars that has the digital copy with it. They asked me to set it up.
So I went to here and typed in my info and the code. Then I clicked iTunes and nothing happened. Clicked it again, and it said that the code was redeemed. Tried calling support, but stupid me didn't realize that almost every business is closed on Christmas Day.
So, how can I redeem it so I get the movie on their iTunes account? They actually specifically asked so they could get the digital copy.

I noticed the same things. Batkinson, I saw that, too, but didn't anticipate a problem when it offered me to download it to Disney and to iTunes, so I did both. Well, I got it on Disney, but it won't show up on iTunes. My Mac Mini doesn't show it as an item I've purchased and when I go to the iTunes store, it still offers to sell it to me. I've rebooted, etc., to no avail.
My iPad, however, didn't show anything for an hour or so, then I went to the iTunes Store and looked a Thor: The Dark World and it switched from the price to purchase to the download icon. So I successfully downloaded it, but it still won't show up on my Mac, which is hooked up to the home theater system / TV. I still don't know what's the problem, but I know I hate Disney's new app.

Digital Copy Code Not Working in my Country

I bought Real Steel from Amazon America. It came with a digital copy code. I tried activating the code but it said "This Code is only valid for customers of the USA or Canada Store." I live in the U.K. What do I do. Do I request a new code from Apple? Any help is appriciated.

Digital copy discs not appear in icloud

I just purchased two movies. Tangled and Night at the Museum 2.
I can import these into itunes with the discs and codes provided just like all other digital copies I have done. All other digital copies show up in the cloud and are availble in my Apple TV.
I have confirmed that both of these are availbe via the iTunes Store for purchase and all other Disney movies show up on my Apple TV.
I have tried reimporting them again (as some other threads suggested) withouit any luck.
Any idea as to how to get these to show up on my Apple TV?

Open Contacts. Is there a button labeled "Groups" in the upper left corner? If so, tap it. This will give you a list of all the sources you're syncing your contacts with. If you see one labeled "on my iPhone", those are not synced with anything.

Help with digital copy film on mac

hi, i got the hangover blu-ray for christmas and it comes with a free digital copy, which i was very happy about, so i follow the steps and go to the website where it says, sorry, its windows only, this is the first time i have had one that is windows only, now as well on the website's main page there is a help video which shows a video being transferred to a iphone/ipod touch, yet when i select that i have the hangover blu-ray and want the digital copy, it says sorry, windows only. any ways of getting it on my mac would be very helpful and make my christmas. thanks in advanced.

It's probably related to some type of DRM (copy-protection) on the digital copy, and not due to it being any particular type of file format. The DRM scheme probably only works under Windows. And if that is the case, I don't think you will be able to get it to work under Mac OS X, short of running VMware Fusions or Parallels Desktop (or Sun's free VirtualBox) and installing Windows to run under Mac OS X.
Considering the popularity of Macs recently, and higher use of Macs among creative folks, it's pretty stupid for the studio/distributor to make a key feature Windows-only.

'Skyfall' region -free digital copy limited to UK & ireland only?

I purchased 'Skyfall' on Blu ray/DVD/digital download from Amazon UK as a 'region-free' purchase. I'm in New Zealand. On arrival the case says 'Plays anywhere' followed by the itunes logo. The Blu Ray dn DVD work fine. But trying to activate the digital copy on itunes, the voucher code displays an error 'only valid in UK and Ireland'
Fox Digital tell me their code is valid worldwide and the restriction is placed by Apple.
Changing the itunes store location to the UK does not fool the system which recognises my physical loation and resets it to New Zealand.
Fox suggested it will work fine with Windows media player but I want it on my ipad!

Well, Fox have more clout with Apple than you or I do.
Still down to Fox to argue with Apple, although why Apple should take such a stand would be a mystery to me. They don't own the rights to the film, Fox do, and it's Fox who decide where the film is sold, not Apple.

HT1539 1080p Digital copy of the Avengers with the Triple Play edition?

Is it possible to download the 1080p Digital copy of the Avengers with the Triple Play edition (Blu-Ray 3D + Blu-Ray + Digital Copy)?
The Edition that downloads automatically is only 480p.

The third-generation iPad is. But from reading several forums on the issue, it seems confirmed that the digital copy for The Avengers is SD, not HD.

Good will hunting digital copy not showing up on apple tv

I downloaded and redoes loaded good will hunting digital copy, included in my bluray.
Well for some reason, good will hunting won't show up on my apple tv as purchased like other movies do.
I know fox/universal digital copies won't work for now, but why doesn't good will hunting show up?
It's a miramax/lions gate film.

So as directed by AppleCare Technical Support (I have AppleCare on all my Apple products), I sent the following e-mail to the iTunes support page that they directed me to, "All my other successfully redeemed digital copies/digital downloads through iTunes/iTunes store show up in my iTunes purchased movies in the cloud, except this one, "Good Will Hunting." I got the same message from the iTunes store saying it was successfully redeemed and it downloaded to my iMac but for some reason this is the only movie that is not showing up in my iTunes purchased movies in the cloud and all my other successfully redeemed digital copies/digital downloads are, so I don't know what the problem is at this time. I hope you can resolve this so that I may enjoy this one from the cloud as I do all my others like this, thank you in advance so very much."
I am suppose to hear back from them within 24 hours, I hope it is resolved ASAP. If I can I'll try to let you know what happens.
