Skype 6.21.73.104 problem? The conversation pictur...

While I'm glad that there is,once again, an option to change the conversation picture, there is something wrong with it. No matter who changes it in my group, the conversation picture still remains the default picture. It still notifes us when it's changed, but doesn't seem to physically do so. However, people with older versions of Skype seem to people able to see the pictures we change them to. Help?

That is a known issue. Unfortunately that problem still exists in the latest version. Hopefully they will address that issue soon.

Group conversation pictures not displaying on new ...

I don't know if there's an option I'm not seeing but since I updated to the new skype preview, I cannot see group conversation pictures for any of the skype groups I'm in.
Clicking on the conversation topic loads up the profile for the group, and I can change the picture in there, but it will not display for me (even in the profile window I get the default 'no picture' picture).

Can we please have the conversation picture visible to all participats of group conversations back?
And while you're at it, can we have (fubar) and (finger) and (hollest) back too?
One more thing - can we please have back the ability to adjust the size of the typing box? There is only one little line there now and one would like to be able to see at least 4 or 5 lines of the message you are typing.
When you update, the update should improve, not remove.

So here is how I got it fixed for my Mac OS X 10.9.5 and skype 6.19. I think Windows folks can follow a similar approach.
option 1 - Contact a live support agent via this link -
https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10656/what-is-live-chat-support and have him/her remote login to your machine and fix it.
option 2 - Do-it-yourself
1) Try installing skype ver 6.15 (you need to find the executable over the internet or from skype-support) .. the usual steps to uninstall your current version and re-install the new version.
After installing ver 6.15, make sure in Skype -> Preferences, you don't check the "Always keep skype up to date" option.. or else it will go and install the latest version 6.19.
2) If it still doesn't work,
(i) Go to Finder window -> select 'Go' tab on top -> select 'Go to Folder' -> type '~/Library/Application Support/Skype/'
there you will find a file called "shared.xml". DELETE IT.
(ii) Go to Finder window -> select 'Go' tab on top -> select 'Go to Folder' -> type '/private/var/db'. There may be a file called "config.xml" or something similar. DELETE IT.
3) Even then it doesnt work, go back to Option 1 (contacting skype-support)

Today whilst using FaceTime on my iPad 2 it went back to the apple logo. I then went onto my iPhone 4S to continue the conversation and a few minutes in it did the same thing. Clearly a problem with FaceTime any advise please.

DTMF Asterisk signal sending by Skype 6.14.0.104 does not work properly on Israel landlines.
Because of that I can not use DISA to enter office PBX.

Hello Why is my SkypeOut credit no longer shown with my name? I have two versions of Skype om my computer. The first, which came pre-installed with my new Asus Laptop and Windows 8.0 and now Windows 8.1. I do not know the version of the pre-loaded Skype as it lacks in functionality. It is definitely the worst version of Skype that has ever been designed and I have used Skype since (approx 2004) shortly after it was first created. I recently downloaded Skype 6.22.81.104 for Windows desktop and added it to my Asus laptop because of all the frustrating problems I have had with the pre-installed Skype. Although this version is better then the pre-installed version it is lacking of very good features that were on the earlier versions. On all previous versions of Skype (including W 8.1 pre-installed version), my SkypeOut credit was always displayed with my Skype name. With Skype 6.22.81.104 I must click on my profile to see my credit. Why? Why? Why can't I see it anymore with Skype 6.22.81.104? I have checked all the Skype set-up possibilities and can't find a solution. I also checked Skpye Help and Community and have not found an answer. How do I correct this? Please instruct the program designers to leave good ideas from past Skype version in any updates they do. Also please get rid of the big bulky/blocky Windows Skype version. Also stop it taking the full screen - allow us to reduce the Skype screen size. Thank you.

Dear Skype- STOP killing the display pictures

This is more of a suggestion/complaint than anything else and I hope I'm putting this in the right place but, Skype's last update made everything look like iphone messages which also made the display pictures small as hell.
This was annoying as I like to actually LOOK at people's pictures and it's nice to have a quick visual represenation to remind you who you're talking to. I mean sure-- I can click on the image and see a larger version along with their profile info but...why should I do that?
NOW today I log on and skype updates and they're gone COMPLETELY from the chat windows?
WHY? WHAT REASON WAS THERE TO REMOVE THEM? The chat windows look so bland now and the only way to see display pictures is in the actual messager or when they call you, I guess. Removes a lot of the fun and point of having display pictures now.
Why not all the time??? I remeber it allowed you to hide display pictures that you did'nt want to see, but now Skype just does it for you, all the time, forever. At least let us have the CHOICE to hide them like they are now.
My suggestion: Bring back display pictures in the chat LARGE they USED to be before Skype had this iphone-like layout, WITH THE OPTION of making them tiny and round or removing them all together. Thanks.

This is a ridiculous workaround. Why is this even an issue? Display pictures at the top of conversation windows (at the minimum width, mind you), have been there for years, and were perfectly fine prior to the 7.3 update. What was the point of changing this?
I reverted to 7.2 as soon as I learned this was a design choice and somehow kype updated itself to 7.4 despite having automatic updates in Skype and Windows Update turned off. I'm still annoyed by the fact that I have to choose between ridiculously wide windows (that make the avatars vanish sometimes anyway?) and nice slim windows that have icons missing for no real reason.
It's not a big enough issue for them to really 'fix' it, I suppose since it falls under the 'pet peeves' instead of actual problems category, I guess.
But yeah, bringing the avatars back as they used to be (instead of continuously making them smaller and further away and less present as time goes by) would make me happy, personally. [:

Hey, there. I dont really like this new version (7.0). The look and feel is not good on my opinion, but today happened something really weird, that creeped me out...
I was in the middle of a chat conversation. Texting. When at some point a message appeared in the middle of the chat window, as if someone would had talked, to advertise somekind of Skype promotion.
It was something like "We'd like to give you unlimited calls free for a month. So, on top of your usual free Skype to Skype calls BLABLABLA". It also included two links to accept or decline the promotion.
It was awkward as hell and I did not touch anything. After a couple of minutes the "promotion" dissapeared of the chat timeline.
And I mean... WHAT was that?

The chat pane in a 1:1 conversation is the space which conveys information between the two users.
The problems with autoformat misfire and inappropriate emoticon substitutions inadvertently distort that space, making it difficult to communicate.
These are acknowledged as problems and we expect these to be fixed in a later upgrade.
Injecting ads into the chat is actively destroying that experience.
Adverts should be in the advert space. Even in a public space, if I'm having a chat with a friend, it is socially acceptable to stand nearby with a sign saying "Golf sale", "Low rates now, ask me how" or "THE END IS NIGH".
It is not acceptable to step into the space between me and my friend and interject.

My Problem:
The thing works for me and i am able to get my input files name as my output file name. But one thing i noticed is that in my target message, the field where i have mapped the code it always returns the value "null" but finally when the file is created i get the required result.
My input file name is input.txt and i get the same name in my output file too.
In sxmb_moni if i check DynamicConfiguration link i see the following

How to set the conversation id programmatically in a BPM process

I am using BPM/SOA 11g PS3.
Is it possible to set the conversation id programmatically in a BPM process starting with a none start event?
I know I can set it easily if I use a BPM process starting with a message start event.
All I have to do is set it in the "wsa:MessageID" node in SOAP Header when I initiate the process instance.
However, I have no idea how to set the conversation id programmatically in a BPM process starting with a none start event.
I looked for if there is any appropriate method in the Java api for the process instance management, such as IInstanceManagementService and CompositeInstance, but no method seems to be appropriate.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Did you get a solution to the above problem you have mentioned? I have a similar issue i am trying to fix.
I have a webservice call in a process activity and if the call does not work i get a soap fault and the fuego.lang.ComponentExecutionException . My process requires that i catch the exception infact any kind of exceptions that occur on that call and perform another activity in the process.
I have defined an exception handler at the activity level for java.lang.Exception and java.lang.RunTimeException.
i don't see anything in the catalog which would handle the SOAP fault OR the componentexception.

Call Button Greyed Out After A Third Participant Is Added to The Conversation in Office Communicator 2007 R2

I have a problem with the office communicator. I'm able to make a call to one party without any problems. The issue occurs when I add two or more parties into the conversation. The call button will be greyed out and Im unable to make a call.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the OCS but the problem still persists.
Appreciate if anybody could help.

How do I speed up the conversion of a PDF to Word using Adobe ExportPDF?

Believe me, we ALL know what you are going through!
You CAN develop your slideshow directly in iDVD and you can have multiple songs (I just figured this out myself just now! LOL). I will walk you through the process.
Firstly, open a new project in iDVD.
Then press the + button (bottom left hand side) and add slideshow and a heading "My Slideshow" will show up on your iDVD screen. Then, go into your media and press photos, and drop your folder of photos into the "My Slideshow" button (if you havent put your folders into a new album in iPhoto, now is the time to do this).
Now double click on your My Slideshow button and all your photo's should come up. Down the bottom of this page you will see some options. Slide Duration, Transition etc. Again, go into your media and select audio. Go through your playlist and hold down the apple button (next to space bar left hand side) and select the songs you want to play with your slides then drag them across to the audio button (it automatically changes the slideshow to fit to audio). The only problem I can see with this is that there is considerable "dead" time between tracks which means some slides show without music. You can easily solve this by going into Garage Band and trim off the excess "dead" time at the end of each track. If you have problems with this I can talk you through that too if you would like.
Oh and I think i read somewhere that 99 photos is the maximum you can have in iPhoto?? That could be what is causing your problem. You could always break it down in to 2 separate slide shows?

Hi there,
It sounds like there may be an issue with the quality of the PDF. Not all PDFs are created equal, and especially those created from scanned documents can be problematic if the scan quality isn't the best. Is there a dark background on the PDF, or stray marks or smudges?
You can try converting with OCR disabled at outlined in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community. But, while that's a good test to find out where the problem lies, you'll end up with a Word document that isn't editable, so it's not an optimal solution.
