Try first to update your Windows 7 installation to the latest Service Pack 1 (SP1).
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-windows-7-service-pack-1
If the issue will still persist after updating, then run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit version).
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.

  • When I click onto the firefox webbrowser, I get the message "firefox has stopped working, windows will close the application to find a solution to the problem " This has been going on for several days, I've had to go back IE to access web pages

When I click onto the firefox webbrowser, I get the message "firefox has stopped working, windows will close the application to find a solution to the problem."

I had this exact same problem.  I found this fix and it worked for me.
    Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
    Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you.  I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.
    Good Luck.

  • Windows 7 - 'iTunes Has Stopped Working' Window Repeatedly Popping Up

Hi there, I've encountered a problem that I couldn't fix myself so I'm hoping someone can impart with some knowledge.
The dreaded 'iTunes has stopped working' window pops up constantly, and continues to reappear again and again. Even navigating to this forum, finding the right place to post and typing this very question is a pain as it has popped up about 7 times since I started typing it. If I leave my laptop alone for a few minutes, I come back and there's about 15 windows open saying the same thing. This is super annoying as I'm trying to get some work done, but any ounce of productivity I have is stifled by this. I am very close to headbutting the screen before I throw my laptop into oncoming traffic on the street below.
I've tried restarting the system, shutting it down and leaving it off for a bit, ending any iTunes-related processes in Task Manager but all have failed.
    I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
    HP Pavilion G6
    4GB RAM
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Hi there 46Villan,
I understand that you are seeing an issue with iTunes for Windows and you are getting a recurring error message on your computer. I understand how this would be frustrating to you and would stifle productivity. In order to help you troubleshoot this issue, I suggest that you perform the steps found in the following article:

If the issue continues after attempting those steps, you may need to consider uninstalling then reinstalling iTunes and its related components completely:

  • Itunes has stopped working Windows is checking for a solution ....

After I just upgrade my itunes and restart the computer I click on itunes and get a message itunes has stopped working Windows is checking for a solution to the problem….’ This is then followed by another message ‘a problem caused the programme to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.’
I try to open in "safe mode" and getting the same message.
I am trying to figure out what to do about my son's itouch he has lost it/stolen at school. Feeling worried and would like to be able to get in my itunes account now.

This is the simplest fix, if you're still having a problem with it.  I had the same problem, am running Windows 8.1.  Just be sure to reboot after you copy the dll (dynamic link library) file indicated.
    Copy QTMovieWin.dll from:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
Let me know if you have a problem.

  • What is this : "Firefox has stopped working Window is chcking for a solution to the program"

I am Using Mozila 3.6.3 , I am so happy with this version. But Many times it show error
    "Firefox has stopped working
Window is checking for a solution to the program"
    and then it show
    ""Firefox has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is Available."
    | Close Program |"
    How i solved out it

Your Firefox 3.6 is apparently crashing or hanging.
Firefox 3.6 is no longer supported and is not secure, so you are increasing the risks to your computer and personal data. It is probably a good time to upgrade to Firefox 14 from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Do not use any option from Windows or firefox that offers to remove personal data (because that destroys bookmarks, passwords and settings). If you have problems once you install a recent version you may neeed to look at

  • For no reason when I try to sync my iPad I get a message after about 10 minetes sayingitunes has stopped working windows will get back to you if a solution is found.I used to be able to sync no problem this just started all of a sudden

I get a message every time I truro sync it says iTunes has stopped working windows will contact you if a solution is found.

I know you can't help with my Yahoo problem, however, apparently at some time in the past I have went to the Sync and tried to figure it out on both my laptop and my desktop, because I have the long snyc key information. However, when I go to try to sync both computers I never get the box to enter that key on either one. That is my problem. So should I try and get a new sync key and see if that works.

Try to reset all Skype settings.
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
Next go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
    Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.
