Skype 7.0 is not picking up my voice after a black...

So basically what happened was I was skyping with my friend fine and suddenly PC got shut off due to a blackout. After a restart, my Skype (7.0) won't pick up my voice anymore. Only Skype won't pick up my voice. Steam, GTalk, Windows Setting all can pick up my voice. Tried to switch to front audiojack panel and it seems to work fine but quality is kinda bad (Skype 7.0 is not picking up my voice if my mic is plugged into the rear audiojack panel).
Things I've tried:
Reinstalling audio driver
Reset Skype settings
Clean reinstallation of Skype (Using Revo Uninstaller to uninstall)
Reinstalled Windows (Full Format)
I'm currently using Skype 6.14 which apparently is able to pick up my voice. Adviced needed :/

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool.
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

Captivate 6 not picking up NeoSpeech voices

I followed the instrctions to download Neospeech voices and performed the install and it reported success but Captivate only shows Microsoft Anna.
I can see voices Bridget, Chloe, Julie, Kate and Paul are in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 (32 Bit)\VT so how do I get Captivate to link them?

TS4079 Siri is not picking up my voice and Siri is not talking back after ios7 upgrade. .?

I have tried to use Siri after upgrading to ios7 and now the ring just spins with suggestions of what to ask , but Siri does not pick up my voice and Siri does not speak back.
I have internet connection , I have done a phone reset etc etc , it was working fine before the upgrade , any ideas please.?
Also have the language set to uk english ..
Upgrade to iPad 4 worked fine , just the phone. (Iphone5)

ok, got the same problem! here is what i tried and found out:
ok, now i tried again a factory reset and it didn't help...
Also tried a reset with restoring from an icloud backup! Didn't help...
Switching Siri off an on, didn't help
Switching off Siri and reseting the iPhone (holding down the power- and the homebutton till Apple logo) and then switching back on, didn't help...
Using Siri with the headset, working!
Using raise to speak option working also! So only the Homebutton activation does not work!
Called the support, the answer is: Buy a 35 € protection plan or help yourself...

Mic not picking up my voice

So my issue is that whenever I am on Skype, the person on the other end can hear all of my laptop's sounds (e.g. music, videos, etc) and doesn't pick up my voice or external sounds at all. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thank you!

I would suggest some further simple tests. It could indicate to us where the root cause may come from.
1) Have you tried to use the external audio device with another app? For instance try to record your voice with a windows recorder. it can indicate whether your external device has a driver problem or if it is a problem related with Skype.
2) Try another external device (or your build-in mic/speaker device) with Skype. Check if the problem remains or not.
Report the outcomes of these tests and then we will proceed.

Norton 360 does not pick up tracking cookies after updating to firefox 17.0

With firefox 17.0 Norton 360 does not pick up tracking cookies that were picked up with firefox 16.0.2. Uninstalled 17.0 and and reinstalled 16.0.2 - tracking cookies are picked up - updated to 17.0 and again no tracking cookies. I did not see anything in release note that would seem to reflect this situation. asked this question at 08:57 PST 11/29/2012 and the reply stated that Norton 360 should still be able to remove tracking cookies. WELL IT DOES NOT - WHAT HAS CHANGED FROM 16.0.2 TO 17.0 THAT WOULD CAUSE THIS. IS THIS A NEW BUG? The first reply did not answer my question however it was marked as "solved". I have rolled back to 16.0.2 and updated to 17.0 twice and the same thing has happened both times.

Control Code from Material not picked in Sales Order after EHP4

Hi Gurus,
We have updated Enhancement Package 4 for one of our client.
It is observed that the system is not picking the values maintained in Control Code of Material master. We have some pricing condition types maintained using the combination of Control Code and other fields, which are not being determined automatically.
The data is maintained in J1ID for this material and plant combination and it is also filled in material master.

Airport card not picking up any signals after IP configuration changed

Just had cable internet installed in my apartment, and in the course of setting up the IP configuration for the built-in ethernet connection, my airport card has stopped recognizing wireless networks in my building. Before I changed these settings, the card was working, and there are several networks in the building that it recognized. Now, it recognizes none. The menu appears in the top bar, and I can turn the airport on and off, but it simply is not picking up any signals whatsoever.
I have tried a handful of tactics, including changing the Airport TCP/IP configuration in several different ways, rebooting several times, and even removing and reinserting the Airport card.
For info: I'm using an iBook G3 with OS 10.2.8. (I know, pretty old, but it's still chugging along...)
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure. What's strange is that the very same computer was picking up signals (not accessing them b/c they were all password protected), recognizing networks in the area at least, before I played with the other IP configuration settings. Now it picks up none. It shows that there are none in the area, even though I know that there are.
Also, often, when I click on the Airport icon in the menu bar, the computer hangs for up to a minute before the menu actually pops up.
I have an Airport Express unit that I have hooked up to the cable modem, and my Airport card won't even recognize that signal. I'm just not sure what I changed that made it go haywire. I've been using this computer on wireless networks for the entire time I've owned it. Never had this problem before yesterday.

I changed a BC4J EO.xml file directly under the EBS $java_top directory, and then rebounce all the Weblogic servers (admin+managed). But the change doesn't seem to be picked up by the appserver. I also bounced the Apache server. Anything else I should do? Clear cache from Functional Administrator didn't help either.

bc4j.cfg or the EO.xml is part of model project. if the UI project is dependant on the model project then you should see the changes.. otherwise. you should deploy the model project.
sometimes.. even if you do all the above the changes are not reflected.. whn u see this then clean all the project.. make, rebuild and run the project.
if that also fails then remove system folder as a last resort. :)

RFQ Price is not picking in the PO

Hello Expert,
I am creating the PO with reference to PR (ME57) for vendor X. In the PR price is maintained as 2 INR per unit. PO price is 2 INR per unit.
I am creating the RFQ also with reference to PR.
In RFQ, I am maintaining 10 INR per unit for vendor X.
When I edit the PO (adding RFQ number at item level), it is not picking the RFQ price (10 INR), still it is taking the PR price (2 INR).
There is no info record in this case.
Why the system is not picking the RFQ price after entering RFQ number (ME22N)?

Hi,
If you create a PO and reference an RFQ, the RFQ price will be used
If you create a PO and reference a requisition, it will use the
validatition price ONLY if the adopt price flag is set in the
requisition. Please see attached note 393367.
You cannot reference an RFQ and a requisition at the same time.

File not picking up in FTP server

Hi SAP-XI experts,
2 different files are send to same FTP server but one file was picked but other was not picking.
Error that came while monitoring CC is as below:
"Conversion of file content to XML failed at position 0: java.lang.Exception: ERROR converting document line no. 1 according to structure 'row':java.lang.Exception: ERROR in configuration / structure 'row.': More elements in file csv structure than field names specified!".
Seeing the error we cross check the content of file present at FTP server. But everything was fine,it contain same no.of fields present in Content conversion and even same length.
Solution: I added a extra row in Content conversion "row.additionalLastFields ignore".After that i stop and restart the Communication channel it start picking the file but the Communication channel is still in red.
Can u please tell me ASAP the reason why the file was not picked first and then after adding extra row it started picking.

it is related to some problem with the data only...because i too faced the same issue...i was also not able to see the new line when i try to open the same in notepad++ ... may be some other paramters or data of excel/CSV which is avoiding to display the same..in notepad++
also try one more thing...enable the new line characters and see if there is any difference...between the processes and failed files...

The microphone won't pick up my voice

Here's the situation.
My mic is working fine, I checked through windows. However, when I attempt to talk in skype, and skype ALONE, it will not pick up any sound in the microphone, EXCEPT the sounds my headphones create, that is loud enough to be picked up. I have the latest version of skype, restarted skype, and followed every instruction to find a solution to the problem.

I have foud the solution - rather stupid. The system setting for audio input was at 70%, increasing it to 100% solves the problem!

Skype Voicemail Not Picking Up

When people call my Skype number and I am not here to answer, it just rings and rings and never goes to Voicemail.
I have tried a number of things - logging out, logging in, turning off voicemail, turning on voicemail, turning off call forwarding, turning on call forwarding - and it still doesn't work.
I have temporarily solved the problem by having the number forwarded to Google Voice, which works just great. But, the problem here is my phone (using a GE phone with DECT 6.0) won't ring when forwarded, so I am not "live" to receive calls.
At any rate, is there is solution for voicemail not picking up?
