Skype beta version in my Nokia 2700c-2 couldn't co...

Hello ! How are you ? I have downloaded a Skype beta version in my Nokia 2700c-2. But when I want to sign in my Skype account through it, it replies that "Skype server couldn't connect to your phone." What should I do to operate my Skype account in my favourite Nokia 2700c-2 ?

The 1603 error is generally a windows installer issue, but can happen for other reasons. Many times it occurs due to a missing or damaged .msi file (like the Skype.msi). Try uninstalling the version of Skype you have installed. This can be safely done without loosing your Skype log files. Many times the error may tell you what version it is having an issue with. If you re-install that version of Skype then remove it again, that should rectify the problem, allowing you to install the beta. Microsoft also has a fix it tool that may resolve the issue as well.

Skype has not published a native version of its messaging application for Nokia Series 40 devices. Therefore, it is not possible as of this moment.

I can't update firmware on my Nokia 2700c

Hi I have Nokia 2700c with firmware version 7.80, but I tried to update to new version 9.97 via Nokia Software Updater 2.6.1en, & I have 3.1 Mbps connection, I'm getting error at the end Connect Cable to Direct USB on PC, not via USB Hub, or USB Keyboard or USB dock, but I have connected to direct USB on PC and its only connection which I have on USB...? I have WinXP SP3 and all the update and original os and I have P4 3GHz & 2 GB RAM with all the updated anti-virus.
What may be the problem?

Hello EveryBody To update your Nokia 2700, DON'T USE "nokia software update" directly. You'll have to install NOKIA OVI SUITE, then sign in with your account ou register. Afterwards update your 2700 via the update option of OVI SUITE. I just tested it and it works

Problems installing Download! for PC Beta Version ...

I am trying to install Download! for PC beta version 1 onto my PC. But it brings up an error message saying
"Install Nokia PC Suite version 6.82.21 or later before installing Nokia Download!". Then it quits.
However I have PC Suite 6.85.14.1 already installed.
Has anyone else seenthis or am I doing something wrong.

I had the same problem and tried unsuccessfully several times to install this update though the software update. I did download and install in manually, and it worked with no problems. I am on windows 7 and I upgraded to 10.0.2 and now it will not open. I have removed firefox completely and uploaded it again and that did not work. So my latest attempt I removed firefox 10 again and uploaded the beta version and once again nothing.

I think when uninstalling you may also have to choose (tick) to delete the preferences and other personal data like the bookmarks, stored passwords etc. to erase completely. If you are installing afresh, please try right-clicking on the file and '''Run as administrator''' to install. And when uninstalling, please also make sure choose to delete all data and also manually delete any '''Mozilla''', '''Mozilla Firefox''' or '''Firefox''' from %appdata%, %localappdata% and %programfiles%. You can open a location by typing for eg. %appdata% in the '''Run''' box (Windows key + R). You may also have to check the '''VirtualStore''' folder in %localappdata%. Files in the VirtualStore can be problematic. I think a clean installation may help.

How to delete the beta version in icloud?

I purchased iWork half an year ago and I use it in icloud. But since the beta version has appeared, it´s not possible to work with my own software. Who knows how to delete the beta version from icloud?

You can't delete it.
Why do you need to? Why can't you just work with your documents like everyone else does, by opening iWork software on your Mac and using File > Open, etc to see your docs that are in iCloud? Why would you need to use your browser?

Adobe Cloud has 2 different Muse programs.... how do I know which one is the newer better version?

So I am new to Muse, and my Adobe Cloud has 2 different programs from Muse... how do I know which one is the newer better version?
One Must program (Muse CC 2014.2) has a black background when working on it... it looks like other Adobe programs such as Photoshop.
The other one is light color (Muse CC) very similar to the black color Muse on functions.....
One of the difference I notice is that the light color Muse has a few widgets in the library, while the black background Muse seems to have an empty library
So... why are there 2 different Muse programs in my Adobe Cloud?

The latest version of Muse is 2014.2, so you need to uninstall another version of Muse manually.

My DVR security sofware that I access remotely uses a "dvr .ocx" file....when I try it in Firefox , either the latest non beta (3.6.1.5) or the new beta version (4.0 rc) it will NOT work as it says the plugin is missing... it works in IE 8,but not IE9...

My machine is Top of the range (my Company builds them so it had better be :) )
Amd 1100t , 8gb ram , Windows 7 64 bit etc, etc...
The is not a hardware problem , but a software problem with FF...Any help would be appreciated as I hate using IE 8 for anything at all :( but I have to keep it on my machines just to run my remote security cameras at my Computer shop ???

As I own a Computer company I am fairly computer literate but cannot find a plugin that allows this to work in Firefox.... but I would have expected it to work in the new Firefox :(

I do agree that ''something'' needs to be done better with regards to plugins for Firefox, but I do disagree with you as to whose responsibility that ''something'' is.

Having a problem with LR5 install and beta version

I uninstalled LR5 beta first, then purchased and installed LR5 on windows 7. Now when I open LR5 I only get the images I download on the beta version and not my LR4 catalogs etc. How do I get LR4 to merge into LR5 new install?

Jan, it sounds like most of your work is in your LR4 catalog? In that case, I would start Lightroom 5, go to File > Open Catalog and point to your Lightroom 4 catalog (like dj_paige said). Lightroom 5 will update your LR4 catalog. Depending on how many images are in your catalog, this could take some time.
Once your Lightroom 4 catalog is completely upgraded, decide if you want to merge your beta catalog into the upgraded catalog or not. If you do, you can do File > Import from Another Catalog and point to your Beta catalog. This will merge it into your newly-updated Lightroom 4 catalog.

Unable to install Flash Builder Premium: a beta version exists on this computer

I'm a user of Flex since version 2 and i'm still currently using it everyday. Some days ago I uninstall Flash Builder Premium 4.7 because i did a mess installing some external packages so I dedided to uninstall it and install everything from scratch.
The problem is that installing using Creating Cloud on my iMac, I always receive the same error: "a beta version exists on this computer".
I have already used the "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool" and I removed the "Adobe Flash Builder" having the same icon as the other applications installed by Creative Cloud and now I have another "Adobe Flash Builder" with a slightly different icon but I'm scared to use it because waiting to repair Flash Builder 4.7 I'm using Flash Builder 4.6 and I cannot think I cannot work because Flash Builder is not working (I use it every day !).
I removed Flash Builder 4.7 using the uninstaller, so the uninstalled didn't completed its job.
On the machine I have currently installed Flex Builder 3, Adobe Flash Builder 4.6, Adobe Gaming SDK 1.0 (no uninstaller for it !), Adobe Flash C++ Compiler (no uninstaller for it too!).
So, the question is, where I can find the log file containing the reason of the error message ? I have already checked the followimg folders:
\Library\Logs\Adobe\Installer: I cleaned the folder and the error happens before a file is created in this folder
\Users\<my account>\Library\Logs: it seems that the error isn't logged here
Please help me, I need to use Flash Builder 4.7 for a presentation I have to do next Wednsday (almost 2 years of working !!!)

Please search for Flash Builder in Spotlight and if find simply uninstall it or delete the folders containing the software.

Unable to Migrate Reports Created in Beta Version to Release Version

I am new to Crystal Reports and apologize for my ignorance. I could really use some help with a very frustrting problem though. I began using Crystal Reports last September with the Beta version available at the time for Visual Studio 2010. I created a number of reports that worked fine.
Recently, I became aware of the official release and thought I should install it before attempting to publish my application. After considerable challenges trying remove the Beta Version from my computer I was finally able to remove it and get the official release installed. Unfortunately, when I opened my project in Visual Studio I received a message that my solution was created with an older or unknown version of Crystal Reports. It gave me the option to convert the solution which I tried to do. The conversion immediately displayed this error "An error occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime. Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient, or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly. Please install the appropriate Crystal Reports redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) containing the correct version of the Crystal Reports runtime (x86, x64 or ltanium) required. Please go to http://www.businessobjects.com/support for more informatio."
Running the conversion also wiped out the contents of the *.cs files for each of my reports.
I tried to open the project without converting the reports but I still received the above error.
I have read a number of posts about similar issues. Many, however, involve deploying the application on a user machine. I am simply trying to access my project in Visual Studio IDE. I did change the platform target for my project to x86 (several posts described this as a solution) but it had no impact.
I did try to install and run the CRRedist program but continued to receive the error. I downloaded the complete package (exe) and the Redist Installation (32 bit) from the SAP Knowledge Center. I did originally create the reports with my Application Target framework set to .Net Framework 3.5 and have since changed that to .Net Framework 4. I tried changing it back to 3.5 but still received the error. I am running Vista as my operating system.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide. I really want to use Crystal Reports as my reporting tool but can't afford to waste days trying to resolve these types of issues.

Sorry me, previous post i wrong say 10.1.3 and is 10.1.2.3.
If you are at 10.1.2.3 version, it could be a problem with the DISPLAY enviroment variable. You must be sure that X11 services are running fine on the server.
Try this:
$ export DISPLAY=:0.0
$ xclock
Wait about 5 minutes, if you do not receive error, do this at the same session:
$ opmnctl stopall
$ opmnctl startall
Test Oracle Report.
If you get an error at xclock command, you must activate X11 services at your server or use a X11 services emulator like Reflection, Exceed at your PC, and set DISPLAY variable with PC's IP address.
