Skype Call to India Subscription Rates

Hello, I am currently in Germany and would like to take Monthly Subscription plan, but when I search @ https://www.skype.com/en/rates/?nu=subs-calling with India (or even any other country) No subsription plan is visible. I tried all other internal links on the page as well but could not find any rates or subscription details. Please inform how can I purchase and low tariff plan for India. Regards,

Hi, Since I am from India I am not able to make any call to Indian mobile and landline numbers. I found the below message in the help section. As of 10 November 2014, if you are in India, calling from Skype to mobiles and landlines within India will unfortunately no longer be available.This change only affects Skype calls to landlines and mobiles; you can still make free Skype-to-Skype calls within India, and you can still call mobiles and landlines in India from outside the country (as well as make calls from India to other countries) You can also use any Skype Credit you currently have to use Skype WiFi or to send SMS messages to your contacts. Next week I will be travelling to US and I might need to make some calls to Indian landline and mobile numbers from the US airport. As per the above message by skype I will be able to make calls to Indian numbers from outside India. My question is, if I am at a place outside India how will Skype know that I am calling from outside India ? Do I need tochange any region settings or any other settings in my mobile or profile. No Skype Calls for India-based phones

Well, I got the informtion that after Nov 10, Skype users will not able to call India-Based Phones.
Please temme the reason.
Is it Indian Govt or Skype Server Problem?

Unable to view subscription rates fro India

I am user of Skype subscription to call landline + cellphone in India and Malaysia. I am now trying for an additional subscription for India but when I select India , the rates don't show up while rates do show up for other countries. I am unable to proceed to buy additional subscription. Any ready solution?.

People at Skype are already looking into this problem and working on a fix. At the moment there isn't a date when exactly it will be fixed, but check again once in a while.

Skype India subscription problem

Dear Skype Team,
I am using Skype India Subscription 2500 Mins last two months.
First month it is working Fine.
So, I recommended Skype to my friends. but from last months Skype subscription is not working fine. Every Two Minutes automatically disconnecting the call. and lot of time there is a problem with Voice.
Im trying to chat with your Live support also but they are also not responding.
Today my subscription is going to Finish. If u try to Solve the problem today i will continue with skype. otherwise i will delete my account and my friends account from skype. and i will advise my friends to cancel the subscription from skype due to non responding and Voice call problem. My friends also having same problem in voce calls.Everyone is blaming me due to skype is recommended by me.

I am using Skype India Subscription 800 Mins from yesterday (7/10/14) voice clarity very nice but every 2 minute automatically disconnceting tha call.then again i call same problem. i don't what problem with me. i'm using samsung s4 active. first time i purchase skype calling credit.

2. The free trial offer is for the Unlimited World Subscription. India is not an included country in this Plan. Details here:

I would like to use Unlimited Call facility to Call from Singapore to India.
Could you let me know how much charge per month (for Unlimited Call facility from Singapore to India) in Singapore Dollars.
Can i pay the amount in Singapore dollars while i am purchasing Skype Credit? Is there any conversion charges applicable ?

Skype discontinued the Unlimited India subscription in August, due to high levels of abuse. Skype now offers 4 subscriptions for calling telephones in India (60, 120, 800 or 2500 minutes/month). Since this was just discontinued recently, I would not expect Skype to resume offering the former Unlimited India subscription.
If you have contacts in India that have Internet access, you could encourage them to sign up for Skype accounts. Then you could have free Skype-to-Skype calls with those contacts, including one-on-one video chats.

Unlimited calls to India Skype premium 12 months s...

Hi my wife using skype premium yearly subscription to call India. It will expire jan 2015. On current list of countries to call unlimited on premium subscription does not include India. If I renew her subscription before jan 2015 will she still can make unlimited calls to India.

Your account shows that your Subscription is monthly. If you cancel it you won't have the recurring charge applied at the end of your monthly billing cycle.

Subscription for calls to India

I have an annual subscription for 75 mins worth of calls to India per month which costs £1/month and noticed that call charges are now 1p/min. Is my subscription likely to be upgraded to include more mins/month?

Well this has been a nightmare tryin to get this skype problem fixed? what happened to emailing and getting a reply with a rep who helps u.... honestly Ive clicked for 2 days trying to fix this and even messaged skype on Facebook....... well so here my problem, I purchased a skype subscription last year at this time, under my girlfriends credit card, we broke up in october and when I went to go pay for a new subscription she called me a day before saying skype allready made the purchase without her permission , is this legal? and with no notification also ...... So all i want to do is make sure I have the correct subscription cause it tells me I have a 14.00$ subscription and I would like the same one I had last year and remove her credit card.. I also had an unlimited subscription and it was liek 30$ I do believe...... I need this problem fixed cause I think its a internal Skype problem

I am using skype from long time, I was using subscription for unlimited call to India on landlines and mobile, unfortunately I missed to put autorecharge option and on 28th august my subscription expired.
Now when I am trying to buy India unlimited subscription from portal its not available and it has been replaced with 2500min/month.
Is it possible to buy India unlimited subscription for 1 year without cap of 2500m/m.
Any help appreciated.

I can only find a country dropdown but I will need a full one page rate card with all countries displayed at the same time. Where do I find a full list of Skype calling rates?

Skype to go - India to US

I am in India and have an unlimited subscription for US calls since around a year.. I usually call my girl friend in US to her cell phone from my skype account (from my pc). Is there a way I can call to from my cell phone itself without signing in to skype, but using my subscription. Thing is that, I do not have skype or internet on my phone, so whenever I want to call her, I have to sign in to skype from a pc and call her. Just looking if there is a way to call her even when I am away from pc and internet, obviously using skype subscription.

I'm afraid that SkypeToGo isn't available in India.
However, if you both had a Skype compatable cellphone all your Skype-to-Skype calls would be free.

Call to India from UAE

Hi, I am new to skype, Call option to Landline and to Mobile subcription. I have made the payment and have got the confirmation from skype. When I am trying to call the India landling number from UAE, it just give the tone of dialing from here, , but no sound of the receiving end ring tone. Is there any steps required to be completed before using the subscription option to call India from UAE or any particular steps / setup required to be completed. Please advice successfull callers

This keeps getting posted on the forums. It is simpl because in UAE skype is blocked. Skype to skype works fine but making a call from skype to some phone number is a different story. What i have done and what others do is use a VPN account such as one from https://www.vpnaccounts.com or search on google for a VPN account.
