Skype calls don't work with only one contact

Hello, I hope there isn't already a similar topic.
So, for two years now, there is a friend I try to call regularly. She lives in Algeria and I live in France. At first, we could hear each other. And one day, for no reason (??), I could not hear her anymore. And then when I tried to call back, I could hear her, and she's the one who could not hear me. And then we tried, and tried, and tried, and it was always like that, only one of us could hear the other. I tried to get a new account, I changed computer, and I moved from place to place, and she did too, so I don't know what to blame here. My skype works perfectly with literally anyone else, and it is the same for her. Once I tried to do a conference call, and we could hear each other, and when I tried again it didn't work. Please help me !

Nevermind we fixed the issue. I had to make sure I had my realative's area code included in the phone number.

Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure that you have registered iMessage with your phone number or Apple ID and that you have selected iMessage for use. Learn more about troubleshooting iMessage registration if the phone number or Apple ID isn't available for use.
Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify data connectivity. Learn more about troubleshootingcellular data or a Wi-Fi connection if a data connection isn't available.
iMessage over cellular data might not be available while on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn more about which network your phone supports. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on to use iMessage while on a call if your network doesn't support simultaneous data and voice calls.
Restart your device.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
If you are still unable to send or receive an iMessage, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Verify that the contact you are attempting to send a message to is registered with iMessage.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.

JMS Queue working with only one AIA instance.

Hi,
We are having a Web-Logic JMS Queue configured for an instance. I have developed a consumer in AIA instance to pull the messages from the Queue.
And this works fine.
Now I have an another instance consumer which is pointing to the same Queue, but it fails to get the messages from it.
I have switched off the consumer in the FIRST instance, but even then consumer from the SECOND instance was not able to pull the messages.
Later, I tried switching on the consumer of the FIRST instance, and all the messages were pulled in this instance.
So how can I make it work with two AIA instances and one JMS Queue, provided only one AIA instance consumer is active at a time.

* Likely your best bet is to check your server logs for "Error" and "Warning" messages, and/or, since these questions are specific to AIA's usage of JMS, post your questions to the AIA newsgroup.
* WL JMS does not impose a limit on the number of consumers on a queue, but it does only allow one named connection with the same "client id" to connect at a time. Its unusual to name connections in queueing applications, but possible - and AIA may be doing this. (If this is the problem there should be "client id in use" style log messages or exceptions.)
* Another possibility is a misconfiguration of your remote consumer. Make sure the URL is correct, and remember, if an application is running in the same cluster as the remote destination, don't specify a URL.
* Also, if the remote consumer is running in a different domain, make sure the domains are named differently, and that no two JMS servers in the two domains have the same name (as per the unique naming restrictions documented in the Best Practices section of the JMS configuration guide -- http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/web.1111/e13738/best_practice.htm#CACJCGHG ).

Mail does not work with ONLY ONE e-mail address

I am using mail with 6 different e-mail addresses all using godaddy as my mail server. Some(4) are imap, some(2) are pop3.
All of my e-mails work great except for 1 (which is imap). My iPhone and iPad as well as entourage all work for this e-mail address. It is only Mail that does nto work all the time.
This is the frustrating part. It works some times, and not others. No rhyme or reason to it. When it is not working, the only way to make it work right away is to delete the account and re-install the account. Some times, it will just start working on it's own. The worst part, is whenever I bring it in to a genius to look at it, it starts working, and of course, they say nothing is wrong.
Any thoughts on how to fix this???

Okay, it works the same way for me. I'm not sure whether "open all" will come back in that case, where there's only one bookmark. Does it slow down your workflow a lot to middle-click on the bookmark itself instead of on the folder?

OCI 7 calls don't work with 8i

When I compile and run the OCI demo progs which uses the Oracle 7
OCI calls under Oracle 8.1.5, the progs crash with segmentation
fault. With Oracle 8.0.5 they work fine. When I compile the
demo progs under 8.0.5 und run them under 8.1.5 they crash too.
Any hints? I have to port an application which uses OCI 7 calls
to Oracle 8.1.5, because Oracle 8.0.5 don't work under glibc2.1.

We patched the assembler code in libclient.a, which is wrong.
After recreating libclntsh.so everything works fine.

My iMessage freakishly stopped working with only one person?

First off I was sending my boyfriend pictures and he didn't recieve them (iMessage was working fine) and so I turned my phone off too. After a few minutes my iMessage turned off and my messages were being weird. I turned my phone off twice and it was still the same. So I turned off my iMessage in the Settings and turned off my phone again and now it still won't work. I can send emojis to him and he gets them but when he sends them they come out as &: and I don't know what's going on.. Help me fast please.

I recommend trying these steps, first with the group message, and then with the contacts who are in the group message:

Imessage not working for only one contact all of a sudden

I can not recieve imessages from one contact. We have always been able to use imessage and just yesterday all of a sudden the only way we can text is if I turn imessage off. I can use imessage for everyone else and he can use imessage for everyone else, we just all of a sudden can't use it to text each other now.
I am reset my phone, deleted and added him again, and he has tried the same.

Can anybody help me to get out of this exception. I have tried through several ways, but could not find the solution.

I got the partial solution. The code is working now, however I am not getting the return value from stored proc.

I want to bcc myself when sending mail from one account but not another. When I check "automatically bcc myself", it bcc's me from both accounts. Can I set this to work with only one account?

It does not make sense that your ssh does not have a dash capital Y (-Y) option. It is in "man ssh", and my 10.6.6 has the -Y option, and I've had a -Y option since at least Tiger (10.4) days.

I'm not very good at X11 issues, so I'm just throwing ideas out there.
Does your broken account have a $HOME/.ssh/config file, and if so, what is in it?
Does the broken account have any $HOME/.x* or $HOME/.X* files that X11 might be reading to configure your X11 behavior differently from the new test account?

$HOME/.Xdefaults-<hostname>
$HOME/.Xresources
$HOME/.ICEauthority
$HOME/.keymap.km
The above are a few names I found looking through "man X"
While I'm thinking about it, I assume that when going to the server, you are using the exact same user account on the server, so that you have a constant at least at that end.
Have you tried trashing your
$HOME/Library/Preferences/org.x.X11.plist
file, to see if that is affecting the broken account?
Again, I am just throwing out ideas to see if anything sticks.

Message fails with only one contact

I am suddenly unable to text to one of my contacts. I have an iphone 4. Contact has an android. We have been able to text one another for 2 years. But suddenly (since about 10 days ago) we can't text each other. Yet we can each text all other contacts. Have searched related discussions but so far no solution. I have rebooted, soft rebooted, deleted the contact and rebooted, tried manually texting the number with the contact not in the contact list., removed the +1 from my number, turned imessage off. I am still able to voice call this contact and from my email I can send a text to them and receive an email back using [email protected] . Help?

The contact previously had an old flip phone and has had the android for more than a year.
I will contact the carrier and since we each have the same carrier AT&T they won't likely be able to blame the other person's carrier.

I have been iMessaging my friend for over a year, we both have iMessage enabled on our devices and it was worked consistently up until 2 days ago, when I tried to send her a message from my MacBook Pro and it said she no longer had iMessage available, I went to my iPhone 5 to try and send her a message, but it would not send to her, and would only send as an iMessage, she told me that she has been able to iMessage other people as have I, I have tried turning iMessage off on both of my devices and it still does not work, suggestions anyone? I know it's not crucial to have iMessage it's just something that's been bothering me.

Have her turn imessage off and back on and see if that works.

Get the new keyboard at eBay and replace by yourself may be cheaper way, though you're required higher skill and well know about MacBook Air.
