Skype Contact Online Message in Windows Ray

I would like to capture when my contacts come online. Is there anywhere this information is stored?
I do see the message pop up in the Wiindows tray, but I must be on my system in order to see.
Is this information stored in a file somewhere?
I want to validate my times when connecting and I need to ensure the person was online when they were suppose to be. Example: I host a meeting to start at 1pm, I am late by 10 minutes. How can I validate the other party was online for the 1pm meeting?

Skype does not offer a feature to track when contacts changed their online status. Also keep in mind that there could be several reasons why the statusses are changing, e.g. loss of connection, sign out on mobile devices etc.
Also I would like to add that it's unlikely such feature to track historical status changes would ever be implemented. It looks like a privacy invasion to me that most users would not want.

I noticed, that I can only sent SMS messages to Skype-contacts. If I try to send a SMS to a non-skype contact the message is 'Failed to deliver'(in Dutch: 'Afleveren mislukt')

I've run into a similar (but opposite) situation recently. I upgraded my Mac to 10.10.3 around the same time I upgraded to the latest Skype application (around April 13th). Now my non-Skype contacts do not appear in any of my custom lists. My contacts are only in the "All" list. They still are fine on my iPad, however.
When I select a contact on my Mac, all of the checkboxes for which custom list the contact should be in are blank (unchecked). I've reinstalled older versions of Skype for Mac and wiped out the settings. This did not make a difference which makes me think the list settings stored on the Skype servers have been damaged.
The iPhone version of Skype doesn't seem to even have access to these custom lists. Skype keeps getting worse and worse with each update!

Skype has stopped working - message on windows 8.1...

This error message comes out everytime I start the desktop version...
The app from windows store though works , but I do not enjoy using it at all... the desktop client was always far better.
The problem rose when I upgraded my windows 8 to 8.1 , and since then the desktop client is always forced to close with a message that it has stopped working.
I did a few things that I found reading through posts where people were looking for help with their skype issues:
uprgraded my graphics card
disabled my integrated webcamera
uninstalled java
installed older skype versions
tried to rename the roaming skype directory to old_skype
disabled automatic updates
but... once again i'm helpless, and it seems that none of those solutions I found is at least a bit helpful for me...
I'm pretty much desperate ( I apologize if I did write my post into the wrong place)
hope someone can help me

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. Skype to Lync messaging Lync contact Offline

I have one Lync user on my Contact list and I had no issue messaging this person at all. Until yesterday.
We both have removed and re-added each other. They can message me from Lync to my skype, yet they stay off line on my skype contact list. I can not message them back. Just says Messaging unavailable
I have Skype version 6.21.0.104

Skype Contacts Deleted Apon Left Click

When I went to go to my skype to check a message, all my chat history and contacts were deleted... I really need my contacts back as they were my important friends. I do not know what happebned... and its urgent I get them back... please help....

Sounds very simular to my experience starting yesterday.
Windows version 7 pro.
Skype version 7.4.64.102.
After a Windows update and reboot yesterday, I found my contact list is blank. I always keep the setting to show ALL contacts. After some quick investigations I have found:
If I change this setting to show skype contacts, the screen is blank
If I change this setting to show all contacts, the screen is blank
I am still getting notifications someone came online, although I cannot see them in the contact list since it is blank.
I can go to the recent contacts and the screen will populate
I can change the contacts to only show online and the screen will populate.
Signing out and signing back in, doesn't change anything.
Rebooting the computer doesn't change anything.

Problem with skype contacts added each time when I sync with my computer

I have a Business edition Black Berry Q10 model phone. The problem is I see duplicates of my skype contacts, day by day its getting worse. Im unable to find a solution for this. Need your help!!
How can I stop these contacts duplicating in my address book?? Where is the exact problem??

I am not familiar with the different software that you mentioned but as a
first step I would check compatibility which is done as below:
Get original operating system CD that was used to install Windows XP on the
machine in your post. When Windows XP is inserted into CD ROM drive it
normally will ask you to conduct compatibility check for the current
installation. See what it says.

If you're still around I hope you see this message, as you're the FIRST person (after reading every link, thread, other sites, apple support articles, etc.) to mention JB may be causing this iTunes popup window to REPEATEDLY occur:
"The iPhone software update server could not be contacted."
No, I did not hack anything (are you kidding? Grannies don't hack!), but I unknowingly bought a 3Gs iOS 3.1 from ebay that was not advertised as JB. Since it is like brand new, I was going to keep it (because my old backup is iOS 3.1.2) & was trying to simply restore & update, which (I thought) would remove the JB (that's what everybody says at forums, etc).
Instead, after "erasing all settings/content" (inside phone's Settings to get the prior person's name out of there), it is now stuck in White Apple Mode.
Put it in DFU/Recovery Mode & connect to iTunes but that stupid above message keeps appearing & I have already read/tried EVERYTHING to get rid of that message, starting with:
1. OLD phones (3Gs) with OLD iOS 3.1+ should work FINE with OLD Mac (iBook) with OLD OSX (Tiger 10.4.11) with OLD iTunes (9.2.1[5]). So that can't be the problem.
Here's all the other things apple & others say to check which I already checked:
2. USB ports are FINE, both work FINE, so that's not the problem.
3. No "extra USB devices" are connected, ONLY a mouse, & then the phone (yes, I tried it w/o the mouse connected but that didn't help).
4. No "usb hubs."
5. Latest iTunes for this OSX has already been DL'd (iTunes 9.2.1[5]). If you know of a newer one for this OSX, please advise.
6. No antivirus software.
7. No security software.
8. No routers; only 1 comcast modem, period. Wired Ethernet.
9. No wifi gadgets, no wifi at all.
10. No firewalls, except what is on iBook in the SHARING/System-Prefs. section. It's turned OFF.
11. Did the hosts/terminal thing sudo nano whatever it was. There were only 3 lines, NO gs.apple.com:
xxxxx local host
xxxxx broadcast host
xxxx local host
Oh, & btw, ATT officially unlocked this phone (after I filled out their online forms) but I can't finish the process via iTunes to get their Confirmation that "Device is Now Unlocked," so I can use T-Mo.
So that's it. If you have any other ideas of what to do from here, since from your comment, maybe it's the stupid JB on this phone that is causing the problem (???), please advise.

Can't see my Skype contacts in people tab.

after the latest update for windows phone 8, when I slide to the people tab, I can't see any of my Skype contacts. There is only no available contacts message.
I can only see contacts in the recent tab and I can see the full list when I try to add a contact in the favourites tab.
Is this a bug or I can change that?

Yes I've had the disappearing animation problem. It shows in preview but not in design,
I deleted and re-inserted it. That cured it - but for how long.
This latest update has been a disaster for me.

Can call Skype Contacts but Call to Mobile Fails

Echo Call Test = Working Fine
Calls to Skype Contacts = Working Fine
Call to Friends Mobile (who are added in my contacts list) = Call Failed
i've tried everything , downloaded latest skype 7.0+ version (my skype credit is $10), renamed %appdata% location skype to skype_old, re-login, i've tried almost everything, i don't know why "Call Failed" the worst part is no message as to why it fails, weird !

Skype Contact List question

Quick question...Can anyone tell me why my skype contact list doesn't have the magnifying glass and alphabet listed on the right side of the screen as the phone's internal contact list does? My wife has the exact same iPhone 4, with the same version of skype on it and her skype contact list has the alphabet bar.
I think it has something to do with my skype account because when I log in with her account on my phone, the alphabet bar show up. Likewise, when I log into my account on her phone, the alphabet bar disappears. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

If you have not been able to install iTunes because the Windows Installer service is not available, I would recommend the troubleshooting in the following troubleshooting to help.
Issues installing iTunes for Windows
